a few months past and the boys budding friendship became a door locked tighter than ever. all they did was fight, jeongin's thoughts became darker, and chan was closer to snapping than ever.

"listen, kid, hurry the fuck up!"

"chan! we're not all army men!"

"well obviously not! but you're just being a fucking nuisance!"

"i'm sorry that i'm not good enough for your standards, chan," he spat his name with venom as tears welled up in his eyes.

this was wrong, this was so wrong everything has gone to shit as if it hadn't already.

a few days passed of the boys giving each other the cold shoulder, the lingering awkwardness because too much for jeongin to handle, and he snapped. he tried to talk to chan, to be better for the older man. he couldn't.

"oh my god, jeongin, why do you keep fucking up?! you're so fucking annoying kid, i would have thrown you to the dogs if i could have!"

"fuck you, bang chan! now you fucking did!" jeongin's voice cracked as he broke down before running away from chan, away from the man he slowly fell. the man that would never fall for him, a nuisance, an annoying kid.

it slowly sunk in to chan that he sent away the kid that softened his frozen heart and made him human again, it slowly sunk in that, he loved him.

jeongin ran farther into the woods branches cutting up his arms and face, him stumbling at every step, after a while of running, boom. he ran into a mutant, chan normally took care of them, he protected jeongin, but now he's left exposed.

he heard a loud his sound and his eyes widened even more, above him looking down at the cowering boy, a snake covered in deformed scales and what looked like thousands of sharp, razor-like teeth. when he least expected, chomp! he felt it's teeth sink into his soft flesh ripping up layers for tendons and skin, he let out a blood curdling scream and curled in on himself. before the snake could take another bite of his skin, he heard gunshots and someone scream his name before everything went black. darkness surrounded him.
