Wasp walked into the MedBay with a sigh, and Knockout frowned slightly as he entered.

"What do you want?" He asked tersely.

"Megatr- Lord Megatron, told me to make myself useful," Wasp shrugged, feeling resigned.

"Oh, well then here," Knockout instantly took advantage of the opportunity, and handed him a small buffer. Wasp sighed again, but started working on the hotrod's oh-so-important finish without complaining.

"Your mother stopped by a while ago,"  Knockout said casually as Wasp worked. Wasp raised an optic ridge, but remained silent. "She was wondering if I'd seen you lately."

"I was just up top," Wasp muttered, grudgingly breaking in his silence. "I just wanted some time alone."

"Why is that?" Knockout asked, raising his arm so Wasp could buff his side better.

"I...don't want to talk about it..." Wasp grimaced, fighting back memories. Knockout noticed this and for once didn't say anything.

As Wasp worked, he noticed a few vials of greenish liquid on the table. "What's that?"

"What's what?" The doctor asked, turning to see what he was talking about. Wasp turned off the buffer and pointed at the table. "Oh, that's just an experiment I've been working on."

"What is it?"

"Synthetic Energon," Knockout said simply.

"Oh, like fake energon?" Wasp frowned. "Why would we need that?"

Knockout was about to respond when suddenly the door to the MedBay opened and two younglings ran in.

"Dad!" Raven panted, followed closely by her brother Avaro.

"What is it?" Knockout frowned, turning to face them.

"One of the Insecticons went crazy and attacked a group of Vehicons!" Raven explained.

"What?!"

"Yeah, and Megatron wants you to go down there right now and help out the survivors," Avaro nodded, pulling his arm.

"Is that bug still on the loose?" Knockout asked as he grabbed his medical bag and headed for the door.

"No, Megatron took care of it," Raven smirked, following her dad to the door.

"You kids stay here," Knockout ordered, pushing her back slightly. "Never know if other Insecticons might do the same."

"Ok," Raven nodded, holding her brother's hand. Avaro frowned nervously as he watched Knockout exit the MedBay, the large door slamming shut behind him with frightening finality.

"Don't worry guys," Wasp said as he put a hand on the younger boy's shoulder. "Knockout can take care of himself."

"I want mom..." Avaro sniffed, and Raven gave him a hug.

"Don't worry, Wasp will call them," she assured him, giving Wasp a look that clearly told him he'd better do as she'd said.

"Yeah," Wasp nodded, stepping away and activating his comlink. "BloodVeil? Come in, this is Wasp."

"Wasp? Where are you? Have you seen Raven and Avaro?"

"Yeah, I'm in the MedBay with them. Knockout just left- he told us to stay here," Wasp explained.

"Alright, I'll be right over."

"Oh hey, before you hang up, have you seen my mom?"

"Yes, she's coming with me," BloodVeil replied as she cut the transmission.

"Alright, they're on their way," Wasp assured the two younger kids, who smiled and sat down to wait for them to arrive.
