on the nature of love
Introduction
Is it important to leave a mark on the world? Do you want to live a life that everybody in the world knows about?
You may think so and you may want to. You're not wrong. It's your opinion, and your choice, to leave a mark and live a noteworthy life.
In my unimportant opinion, however, a life lived well whilst doing no mindful harm, no matter how long or short, is just as worthwhile. Some may think this existentialist in approach – but to be completely, vulnerably honest, I believe that a life lived treading lightly, a life lived noticing and seeing beyond the veil of our puerile existence, a life lived harmless and in love, is a triumphant one in its own way. And no lesser than the lives lived doing something grand for the world.
This may or may not have made any sense to you, and I cannot promise if the story you're about to read will either. Truthfully, if you compare everything we do to the grand scheme of things, nothing ever really makes much sense.
With that in mind, read on, reader.

Dedication
For all those who tread lightly, mindful of oblivion.
For those conscious of the fact of matter that they are more likely
to harm the universe than they are to help it, and they are not
likely to do either – for in proportion to the vast infinity of the
universe, our tiny lives are as insignificant as a lone grain of dust.

This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events, and incidents are either the products of the author's imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.
This is just something light to write in between writing The Last Drows because that story is really sucking on all my skill and life.
