Ezra was all set to start this journey. After checking all her preparations she went to the throne room.

Meanwhile, in the throne room there was total chaos among the courtiers.

Prime Minister: "Your majesty we can't let the princess get that pearl. Its not easy to obtain Vivid Cerulean pearl. There are sacrifices to be made to obtain that pearl. What will happen to our-"

???: "Nothing will happen to our people Prime Minister Suarez!" Ezra cuts off the Prime Minister as she enters.

Ezra continues: "I know that you all dont want me to be the next heir but still I am here to ask for your blessings. My mother taught me your elders blessing are worth more than a thousand gems. Being my elders I hope everyone blesses me."

King Thallaquin: "Ezra Aqualon, if you think we would bless you, you are absolutely wrong we dont want the empire to end so you are on your own. You have no aid from our side you may leave."

Ezra sighed deeply she did expect that her father wont bless her but she never expected her father to be that harsh. Ezra thought to herself 'well if you dont care about me enough even I dont have to pretend to be nice.' She stomped out of the hall.

On her way she met Azure who was passing by to get a look at the chaos.

Azure: "I heard father didn't bless you. Oh well! Its too bad. Let me bless you then. It is utterly disappointing that you can't get the throne, yet you keep trying. Still I'll pray that you come back unscathed to the castle since, I am your sister."

Ezra ignored her and moved to the harbour. She settled into her hovercraft. She calmed herself by chugging down a glass of cold water. Everything was just too overwhelming for her.

Tara pleaded: "Miss, Please let me come with you."

Ezra: "No Tara! I can't put your life on the line, you are the only one I have. Please dont worry too much and dont forget to take care of yourself. Dont let anyone bully you as well."

Tara: "Okay miss, dont lecture me. I will pray for you everyday. Even though I am not your elder and my prayers might not be worth thousand gems. But even if they are not worth a single gem I would still pray."

Ezra: "You are better than all those fox brained elders. Well here I go goodbye Tara!"

With that Ezra left for her journey. Her Hovercraft was automated. While resting her head on the seat she wondered: "Azure she is so full of herself I cant believe she is my sister. The whole empire treasures her and she is known as the Empire's Pearl. Well its all thanks to her horoscope. Whatever, I'll get some sleep in the meantime." She dozed off

The first princess of the empire, Azura Aqualon was born on the day of affection and tranquility, 1st day of the week . She was loved throughout the empire and was believed to bring peace and prosperity to the empire.

Azure was always a loving elder sister to all her younger sisters. She was closest to Ezra in her childhood but their relationship grew sour when Ezra was twelve. Probably the time when Ezra lost her mother Queen Herlequin and after that her whole world collapsed. It was a little too early for a twelve year old to learn that she lost the only person who would ever support her.

The whole Azurethra Empire had shunned the little girl. It was then she realized how cruel can your own people be to you. And that was why the Queen shielded her little one until her last breath.

Ezra was in her deep slumber when suddenly, she heard a loud sound. She woke up to realise that she was at the coastline on the surface. But to her pure dismay, huge strom had took over the surface. Which caused a large object to collide with the front part of the craft. Therefore making it uncontrollable. It kept spinning until it broke into two. With one part reaching the shore while the other being swept away with the water currents.

Ezra woke up in an unfamiliar setting holding her head which was throbbing with pain. She looked around panicking when she remembered.

Ezra: "Arghh, where am I? My head hit a rock when I tried coming out from the hovercraft. What happened to hovercraft? What about my stuff and maps I carried?"

She stood up stumbling trying to figure out her surroundings. She was in a bedroom. It had a massive door on one side while the other side was painted in different pastel colors. The walls were covered with exquisite floral patterns and murals while ceiling had paintings of stars and other celestial bodies. The curtains were pale yellow with golden embroidery giving the room a rich and classy look.

She limped towards the door trying to open it. But it was locked from outside. She looked around and found a small  window with narrow pane. She looked out in search for a way to escape.

But the scene before her eyes was a breathtaking dawn. Ezra: "Never knew the dawn could be this beautiful!" It was her first time watching dawn on the land. In water they could only get splattered sparkles in the form of rays when the sun rose above the horizon.

The dazzling yellowish orange light hit her eyes blinding her sight for a moment. She closed her eyes inhaling the sweet scent of petrichor which calmed her nerves to the core.

She suddenly opened her eyes realising that her flipper like toes had been transformed. She crouched down to touch her toes. She felt her fingers and was amazed how beautiful they were.

Ezra: "Not bad, after all its Ezra Aqualon,epitome of beauty." She squealed with joy and patted herself.

She tried to walk, but kept wobbling like a small kid who just learned how to walk.

Ezra: "Its harder to walk than to swim" As expected of a sea creature.

She kept trying until she made a firm grip and balanced herself on the ground.

She sat down on the ground since she was so tired after practicing walking.

She looked up at the ceiling, as if referring to the universe and started throwing tantrums.

Ezra: "Life is so unfair isnt it? I set out for the land only to be met by a storm. Then as if that wasn't enough my hovercraft broke into two, my belongings swept far away. Now I am really all by myself. Those wolf faced and fox brained elders really did cursed me. They are such hybrids, oh my heavens! I cant believe I survive-"

???: "Haha, what did you just say wolf faced and fox brained hybrids-"

Ezra was interjected by a honey laced, sweet baritone voice. She looked at the door and was stunned by the alluring appearance of the owner of the voice. Radiant blue eyes, hazel brown hairs, slightly tanned skin and the facial hair above his lips clouded her mind with thoughts she wasn't supposed to have. She wanted to speak but nothing came out of her mouth.

She wanted to ask who he was, since when was he standing near the door frame, how did she not realize his presence?

???: "Close your mouth before mosquito enters." The man said coming close to her.

Ezra questioned: "Are you a man?" Her eyes shot open at the realization that how stupid of a question she has asked."

She scratched the back of her ear in embarrassment while the man sat next to her.

???: "Yes! I am a man, I've never been asked such a ridiculous question in my entire life."

Ezra: "My apologies! But can I know where am I, who are you, why am I-"

Man: "You are in Earl Wellington's territory. And I was the one who saved you at the harbour. Unfortunately, you gave me alot of trouble and the worst part, you dont even remember. As for my identity you don't need to know."

Ezra was a little frightened of him at first. Relief washed over her as soon as he said he rescued her. Letting her guard down a little bit, she remembered her mother's words. Grasping a small portion of it.

Ezra: "Well unlike your appearance, you have a very spoiled personality. After all, looks could be deceiving."

???: "And yet I was stupid enough to save a squid from the shore!"

Ezra shouted: "Oh my! Who the fudge are you calling a mhm mhm-"

She was  cut off by the man as he placed his huge palm against Ezra's mouth.

While she was struggling to speak the man told her.

???: "You better behave! if you want to keep your head."

The man finally let her go when Ezra spoke: "What do you mean?"

Man: "A woman in her early twenties ran away after poisoning the Earl's daughter and she is suspected to be hiding in this mansion. If you dont want to be suspected better stay in this room." With that he locked the door again and left.

After locking the door the man walked away with his guard.

???: "Young Earl what woman were you talking about, you are not even married let alone a daughter?"

Earl Heinry De Wellington replied chuckling: "Cain, I was just messing with her. Letting her out might be dangerous for her."

Cain: "Where did the sun rise from today, was it south? Its so new! You showing interest in a woman. This is making me emotional." He said wiping his invisible tears.

Earl Wellington: "Shut up! And stop over reacting!"

Cain: "I got to tell this news to your father he is going to be so happy. Since you showed no interest even in the most beautiful women of the Solarnelle, your father thought maybe his son was born different. He was going to set you up with a man on your next date. Though i kind of agree that master is absolutely abnormal!"

Earl Wellington: "Cain, your head is so precious, isnt it?"

Cain: "Ofcourse it is!"

Earl Wellington: " Then how about I cut this head off from your body and keep it safe with me?"

Cain: "I apologize master!"
