Meanwhile in the Azurethra empire. King Thallaquin was anxiously waiting for the investigation report. He was rubbing the ring on his thumb while sitting on his throne.

Suddenly the guard at the door of throne room announced Duke Rune's arrival. As soon as the King heard he stood up and asked the Duke.

King Thallaquin: "Skip the formalities, report me about the situation."

Duke Rune: "All hail king Thallaquin! The bright light that was visible in the eastern part of the Sea of pearls was due to some massive energy flow. During this time there was also a huge storm on the surface. But the source of the energy remains undetectable."

Eastern part of the capital was always the darkest part of the city. The place was devoid of any light since the birth of the empire. It was astonishing when suddenly that part started glowing. It was so bright that it outshined the other parts of the capital.

The water creatures in that part were all blind since there was no source of light. The heavenly light seemed to be coming from the surface of the water. But it was limited to a certain area.

Duke Rune : "We have send our men to the Wellington territory since it lies above the Eastern part."

Duke Rune after reporting looked at the King for a brief moment and spoke hesitantly: "King, we have also found a part of Ezra's hovercraft. It seems it was broken in to two."

King Thallaquin's face was washed over with fear. His hands started shaking.

He asked: "Did you find Ezra?"

Duke Rune: "We were unsuccessful in finding out the other half."

King trembled with fear and spoke: "No wonder I was so anxious."

Unanticipatedly Coralia, the second princess of the empire entered.

Coralia: "Dad I went to the Wellington as soon as I was informed about the light. There was a rainsquall on the surface. I saw Ezra's ship broke into two. I brought her safely to the shore and left. I have given her necessary aids. Gratifyingly she suffered no injuries."

King Thallaquin heaved a sigh of relief.
The second princess, Coralia Aqualon was born on sixth day, the day of bravery and greed! She was praised for her bravery throughout the empire. Her greed for the resources made the expansion of Azurethra empire boundless. She became the Commander of The Golden Knights just at the age of fourteen. But contrary to her greedy nature she was not interested in the throne at all.

Coralia: "Dad it also appears that the light had something to do with Ezra."

King Thallaquin grabbed Coralia's shoulder and asked skeptically: "What was it? What do you mean? Was it a pendant."

Coralia: "Dad is there something you know about the Eastern lights?"

King Thallaquin backed off, turning his back he replied: "No I don't know anything, its the first time I have seen that light."

Coralia wasn't sure if his father was telling the truth. Hence, she chose to serve him the truth topped with a lie.

Coralia: "I dont know if it was a pendant but the light came from somewhere around Ezra."

King Thallaquin: "Alright, if you remember anything else or have any other piece of information let me know. And importantly thank you, thank you for saving Ezra. You did a great job , my daughter. "

Coralia spoke scornfully: "I did what I was supposed to do. It is what my mom taught me to do. To do what was right. If you really want to thank me, stop being a defeatist and bestow the crown to its rightful owner." Coralia left the room.

On her way out she bumped into Azure. Azure asked worriedly: "Coralia, did you find Ezra? Is she safe? Did you bring her back?"

Coralia replied sarcastically: "What are you so worried about? You should be happy right. If there is no Ezra there will be no one to block your path!"

Azure held Coralia's arm trying to explain herself: "You know it very well Coralia, I love her as much as you do. You should know I am doing this for her."

Coralia snapped at her: "Doing it for her? Hurting her and calling her a curse is what you are doing for her sake? You are same as father. As they say the first born is always the female version of the father and I can totally see it .You are the spitting image of Dad. Dont tell me that mother never spoke to you about this and what is more to come."

Coralia jerked her hand off and brushed past her, leaving Azure in total anguish over the fact that she couldn't protect her sister.

Wellington territory, Ezra's room:

Ezra was sitting on the bed trying to figure out what to do next. She had lost all her marked maps, notes and resources to reach Vivid Cerulean pearl.

She was immersed in her thoughts when a knock on the door snapped her out of it.

Cain: "Miss! May I come in."

Heinry: "Why are you asking her? I am the one who can let you in." Heinry appeared behind Cain and growled near his ear.

Cain: "Oh master! I know that you are fond of the lady but its too harsh to growl at me like that. I am here to give her supper. You should not be jealous of me master. I know I am very handsome and brave and every lady in the town swoons over me. But trust me I wont steal your woman."

Heinry gave him a dirty glance and said: "I have locked the door and the key is with me. You need to unlock before entering."

Cain was left super embarrassed. On the other side of the door, Ezra was listening to their conversation. She facepalmed herself and mumbled: "what kind of idiotic creatures are they?"

As the door was about to open Ezra ran to her bed and fixed herself pretending as if she didn't eavesdropped.

Cain entered with supper followed by Heinry. Cain spoke enthusiastically: "Miss! Here is your supper. We all are so glad to have you here. Finally the Cupid has shot his arrow and sended his blessings in form of you Miss." While Cain was blabbering, Heinry stood folding his hand near the window pane.

Ezra being perplexed inquired: "You are happy to have strangers in your mansion?"

Cain replied cutely: "Oh no! Miss you are not a stranger to us. Our master Heinry is really fond of you. He fell for you at the first sight." He pointed towards Heinry.

Ezra tilted her head and spoke: "Oh so you are Heinry! Whoever kept your name definitely loved hens."

Heinry was left awestricken at her words. While Ezra pointed at Cain and continued: "Thought you are thick headed you still look cute. May I have the honor to know your name mister?"

Before Cain could reply Heinry interrupted: "You need not to know his name and Cain get out of the room right now."

Cain fled the scene before Heinry would draw out his bayonet. Ezra spoke: "Oh so he is Cain. Such a nice name for a cutie like him. But what a scary man you are Heinry, coerced such a timid being to leave. I was having fun conversing with him."

Heinry came closer to Ezra and sat opposite to her. Flick her forhead and said lovingly: "You are same as what she described!"

Ezra gulped at the sudden contact. Her cheeks flushed with tinted pink. She felt her stomach performing somersaults in her abdomen. His voice sounded a beautiful melody to her ears. It was so pleasant to her that she could hear him all day long without getting tired.

Heinry looked into her eyes and couldn't help but drown in them. There was a tingling sensation in his stomach that he never experienced before. It was new for both of them. For one who was devoid of love and the other who was learning to love.
