Earl Heinry De Wellington was the only son of Earl Casper De Wellington. Earl Casper had already turned sixty when Heinry was seventeen years old. Soon after Heinry's coming of age ceremony Earl Casper retired and let Heinry ascend the title.
Heinry had always been deligent regarding his work. He loved swordmanship the most. He absolutely hated any sort of distractions which could hinder his work. He was the most trusted ally and best friend of The Crown Prince, Alexandro of the Solarnelle Empire.
He absolutely disliked women and the only reason was his mother. His mother left Earl Casper and ran away with her lover when Heinry was five years old. Though the Earl gained alot of sympathy from this incident but it was not easy for a five year old. After all parents sins are always their child's fault. Heinry was bullied by his colleagues and lost all his friend. He was called a motherless bastard. When the Earl Casper was hiding behind the curtains of his wife's sins, gaining sympathy and support, strengthening his position. His son was on the battlefield fighting alone with the cruel world.
But those are the stories of past. He grew up to be so well that he was titled as the most eligible bachelor in the whole Solarnelle Empire. Those who ridiculed him when he was young, bowed down and licked his feet in order to gain his favour. He received love letters from the ladies throughout the empire. All those letters, laced with sweet sugar coated words went straight to the dustbin without any heed from Heinry.
King Gerald asked Alexandro and Heinry to investigate about the pirates on the Coastline of Wellington. Heinry, Alexandro and their men were keeping an eye out for the pirates on the Blue Sea. Suddenly it became stormy.
Heinry and Alexandro instructed all their men to get back to the safety. They helped their men reach a safer spot thats when they spotted an unusual floating object on the surface.
Heinry tried moving towards the open sea to get a clear view, fighting his way through the air which was burning with passion. Alexandro tried stopping Heinry since the situation was getting dangerous. But somehow just like the magnetic forces between two magnets he was getting attracted towards that unidentified thing. His mind asked him to stop in his trail and go back but his heart refused to listen.
It was the first time in his life that he was so miserable, miserable than the time when his mother left him for another man. With each passing second his heart was hurting, he clutched his chest as he advanced forward. His mind was out of his control. As if it was under the control of some drug. He could not understand anything happening to him.
The magnetic forces kept him driving to the shore. Cain moved forward to stop his master but failed miserably as the strong winds slapped across his face. By the time Heinry reached the shore, the wind became quite gentler.
The floating mass had reached the shore too. As Heinry started exploring it, he was stunned at the sight. He was so flabbergasted that he couldn't speak. It was a woman lying unconscious. She had blue hairs, a type he had never seen. White porcelain face, and skin soft as melting butter. He was so enchanted by her beauty that he didn't heard Alexandro calling him.
Alexandro went near him and waved his hand infront of Heinry's face. That's when he came back to his senses.
Alexandro asked: "What happened, are you bewitched or something?"
Heinry: "Actually!" He said
Alexandro: "What! are you serious?" He asked in pure disbelief. He would believe if someone said that lion eats grass but could never believe that Heinry could be bewitched.
Heinry pointed towards the woman and Alexandro followed the direction.
Alexandro: "Alas! Its truly bewitching."
Meanwhile at some distance from the coastline. Cain and Joan, Alexandro's right hand man were watching them.
Cain: "Why are they behaving like that, are they bewitched?"
Joan: "Seems so. Who would you save if there was really a witch, yourself or your master."
Cain: "The witch, I would save the witch."
Joan looked at him with a bewildered expression but then nodded his head and said.
Joan: "Yes! I would do the same. They are scary men after all."
Cain: "Whats taking them so long, should we go check out?"
Joan agreed and both men went near them to witness the most unexpected sight.
Cain: "Oh my mama flies! What am I seeing this, we got to celebrate!" He started shouting "Everybody this is the spectacular sight we will ever get to see, Sir Heinry carrying a woman on his shoulder."
Other men hooted with excitement visible in their eyes.
Heinry glared at Cain making him realise that he still wants to keep his head. He closed his mouth shut. Thats when Joan spoke
Joan: "Sir Wellington, I thought you were interested in men."
Heinry fuming with rage spoke: "Who the hell is spreading such wild rumours."
Alexandro trying to calm Heinry's anger spoke: "Calm down man, even I thought the same." But unknowingly he added fuel to the fire.
Heinry: "What makes you think like that?" He squinted his eyes and pointed towards Alexandro demanding an answer.
Alexandro: "Boy you are stuck to me twenty four by seven, if not me its Cain or some other man. You pay no attention to woman. What do you expect us to believe then?"
Heinry: "Nevermind, its all useless explaining you guys. Lets all go back to the mansion first."
Cain: "But master who is this woman-"
Heinry cut him off and snarled: " Cain you better sew your mouth while I am still being nice."
Cain: "Yes master! Sorry master!"
Joan: "Sir Heinry, who is this woman and are we taking her to the mansion as well." Joan asked innocently.
Heinry sighed and answered: "We rescued her from the sea, her ship probably broke."
Alexandro: "Wait a minute, when did we rescued her. Wasnt she lying there on her own?"
Heinry: "Yes but we found her and now we are taking her home so technically we rescued her."
Cain: "But she never asked us to rescue her and take home."
Heinry strided forward in Cain's direction while the woman was still on his shoulder.
Alexandro: "Seems like someone will be loosing their heads today. Its going to be a bloodbath. O heavens! May their souls rest in peace."
Before Heinry would react suddenly Joan shouted "Oh my! look there, its a creature! A huge and nasty one."
Everybody looked where Joan was pointing including Heinry. Cain being sly enough took the chance and ran far away.
Heinry: "What creature? I cant see anything."
Joan: "Well, it probably went back inside water." He answered awkwardly.
Alexandro: "I dont know about this woman and Heinry but I definitely ship Joan and Cain. They are match made in heaven. "
Heinry realizing what had happened could only sigh as Joan was The Crown Prince Alexandro's man. He bit his tongue. And went towards his carriage.
He laid down the woman in the carriage and sat opposite to her. He asked the coachman to drive the carriage to the mansion. While observing her, he noticed a small pendant on her neck which was glowing. He blinked his eyes and went closer to take a look at it. He took the pendant in his hand and it to his surprise it stopped glowing. The pendant had a word on it. The word read 'Ezra.'
