After 8 years

A girl of mid 30's was sitting on bed and sobbing silently. Some words were echoing in her mind.

Girl's mind: Sorry to say Mr. Malhotra your daughter's both kidneys failed. Cause of some infection. We don't have much time to save her. We need an urgent kidney. So please ask from your friends and relatives who can give kidney to her come for test soon. We need to do her surgery in 72hrs

Her chain of thoughts broke when a boy 2-3yrs elder than her enter in room.

Girl (sobbing): Sid kya hua? Match hui kisi ki kidney jiyu ke sath?

Sid shook his head sadly.

Sid (sat beside her on bed): Avni don't worry. We will do something. Nothing will happen to Jiyu. You don't take stress it's not good for you and little bean inside you

Avni nodded and hug him.

A/n: Let me give you a little Introduction about everything
It's been 8yrs. Sidneet and Abhinavi are married. Abhinavi have a 3yr old little boy Vansh. Vaish is now 9 months pregnant with other baby. Avni is 2 month pregnant. It's first Sidneet child. Jaireem have daughter 5 years old Jiya.

They are jaans of Malhotras, Singhanias and Mehtas.

Yesterday evening Jaireem got to know about Jiya's both kidneys failure. As she didn't woke up in morning. They took her hospital and got to know. Now she need an immediate kidney for survival.

Singhania's, Malhotra's, Mehta's including Priya's family except Vaishneet tested for kidneys but unfortunately no one has same kidney for Jiya.

Avni (looking at Sid still hugging him): Can I also go for test?

Sid (shocked): Our baby?

Avni (cups sid's face): We will see to it. There is not even surity that kidney will match. It's just a test

Sid: Alright

Avni: Give me 5 minutes then we will go

Sid nodded. Avni went to get ready. With in few minutes she came back. Sidneet left for hospital.

As they reached there, they saw everyone was there only. Reem was sitting beside unconscious Jiya sobbing silently, caressing Jiya's hair. Mishti and Anika was also sobbing for granddaughter.

Abhijeet was trying to contact friends asking for kidney. Smita was consoling Anika and Mishti. Shivaay was consoling Reem and Vaish was not leaving Abhir. Vansh was so sad looking at everyone.

Sid: You stay here. I will ask Dr for tests and everything

Avni blink her eyes. Sid went out of room. Avni went to Vansh and ask him to sit beside Jiya. He did as she said.

Avni (trying to cheer everyone): See Vansh how everyone is crying. When Jiya will woke up. She will tease everyone alot

Vansh (pout): Dadu and Nanu always give chocolates her only

Avni: Then get scolds from dadi and nani

Vansh (giggle): Mumma also scolds papa like that

Avni (hug Reem): Bhabhi don't cry. I know my jiyu is so strong. After all she is your princess. You should prepare lectures for Sid, bhai and veer ji. You know as soon as jiyu will get her conciousness. She is gonna ask for chocolates and icecreams. Oh yaa di you know us din jab Jiyu humare sath soyi thi. She asked Sid to bring a new fridge for her icecreams

Vansh (excited): Massi I also want fridge for icecreams

Reem just nodded. Avni was trying to lighten the atmosphere but no one was ready for it. After few minutes, Sid came in room.

Sid: Avneet let's go

Avni nodded and left from there with Sid. Everyone was really sad and depressed that no one could focused on avni went from there.

Sidneet went for tests. Nurse took Avni's blood samples. Dr asked them to wait for sometimes for results.

Sidneet went out and sat there on chairs. Waiting for reports. Sid was continously tapping his feet on floor. He was waiting so impatiently.

Avni (holding his arm): Calm down

Sid (controlling his tears): I can't yaar Avu. Kal se Jiyu isn't concious. Bhai ne kuch nahin khaya. Bhabhi isn't even in her proper senses. Mom, dad and everyone is really worried. I don't know how to arrange a kidney?

Avni: We will do something

Sid: (shouted a bit) But kya?

Avu flinched lil but she knew he is tensed too much. She kept her hand on his shoulder and squeezed it. Sid held his head in his hands. He took a deep breath and looked up.

Sid: I am so so so sorry meri jaan. I don't know what's just happening with me. I am very sorry yrr

Avu cuped his face and caressed his cheek with her thumb.

Avu: You don't need to be sorry Sid. I totally understand. Each one of us is so tensed. Ho jata hai. Don't worry

Sid kissed her forhead.

Sid: But still I am sorry love. I should control myself

Avu smiled giving him an assuring look. After few minutes, she started feeling like dizzy. She clutch on sid's arm with grip. Sid looked at her.

Sid (held avni for support): You are okay?

Avni: I am feeling dizzy

Sid: Come let's go to canteen. Let's have juice come

Avni nodded. Sid took her in canteen and make her eat sandwich with juice then they went back to Dr's cabin.

Dr: I was searching for you only Mr Nigam. Kidney of your matched with Jiya but in pregnancy we can't do surgery of Mrs. Malhotra and take her kidney

Sid: Any other source?

Dr: Abortion then we can do her surgery and take her one kidney. Take your time and decide. But let us know 2 hours. As first we need to go for Abortion. After abortion we can't directly go for surgery for at least 18 hours

Sid (sighed): Alright Dr

Sidneet left the cabin. Their minds was blank.

Avni: Let's go to park Sid

Sid just nodded. They didn't talk with each and went to park. At park for around half an hour. They both sat on bench in complete silence.

After half an hour

Avni (tears roll down her cheeks): Sid I am ready for Abortion if you will support me

Sid (shocked): Are you sure? I mean.... (he don't what to say)

Avni (cups his face): Yes. If you are supporting me. Umm.... sid we didn't saw our baby. My pregnancy is of 2 months only. Jiya is with us since 5 years. She is life of everyone. We can plan our baby later on

Sid nodded with happy and sad tears too. He kiss avni's forehead and pull her in hug. A minute later they apart the hug.

Sid (placing his hand on avni's babybump): We are sorry baby. Mumma papa loves you alot

Avni (placing her hand on sid's hand): Baby can understand. We need to do this for didi nah. Please forgive your mumma papa baby

They stayed there for sometime then went to Jiya's room.

Sid (smiling): Bas ho gaya abhi sab rona shona band Karo. We found kidney for Jiyu

Listening Sid's words everyone's attention turned towards Sid.

Jai (went to sid): Are you sure? Person is ready nah to donate kidney?

Sid: Yes bhai. Don't worry everything is arranged

Reem (happy tears): Sid who is giving? I mean with whom's Jiya's kidney matched?

Sid (nervous): Umm.... Di voh... umm... Avneet

Everyone's eyes were wide open with shock.

Anika (worried): Avni bacha you are pregnant

Avni (held her hand): Umm.... Mom dr said after 18hrs of abortion I can go for surgery

Abhi: Avneet it's a big thing are you serious?

Avni: Yes veer ji. Veer ji later on we can plan baby when I will be fine but for now Jiya is lifeline of all. Our baby isn't even came in this world (she said biting her inner cheek) and Jiya is my princess as well

Smita (cups avni's face): I am proud of meri gudiya

Reem: Thank you so much. Thank you. You don't know what you are doing for me. It means so so so much to me. I can never thank you enough Avni

She said tears moving down her eyes. Avu gave a hurtful smile with teary eyes.

Avu: Di aap to aese bol rhe ho jaise Jiyu meri kuch lagti nhi hai. Jitni aapki princess hai na utni hi meri hai aur apni beti ke lie itna to kar skti hu na

Reem break down and hugged her tightly. Sidneet console her. After sometime Avni went for abortion. Sid too went with her. Nurse asked her to change in hospital gown. Avni laid on bed of operation room. Sid was beside her till the dr come.

Sid (wiped her tears): I love you

Avni (kiss his hand): I love you too

Both stayed there for few minutes looking in each other's eyes. Tears were rolling on their cheeks, but they didn't bother to wiped it.

Dr came with 2 nurse and asked Sid to leave. Sid nodded and kissed avni forehead before leaving. He went out of operation room and waited there. Soon Abhi, Shivaay, Anika and Smita came there. Sid saw them and wiped his tears.

Shivaay (hug sid): I am so proud of you. I know it is difficult but you don't need to control your tears. Tujhe Avneet ko sambalna hain

Sid didn't controlled his tears anymore. He cried in his father's embrace and calmed down.

After around 2hrs. Dr came out of operation room.

Dr: Abortion is done. Avneet isn't concious. She is weak. So she need be in observation for 18 hours then we can start her surgery and after her surgery immediately it will be Jiya's surgery

Sid nodded. After sometime Avneet got concious. Sid asked Dr to shift Avneet in Jiya's room only.

Whole family was with them and took care of them. After 18 hours Avneet went for her surgery then it was Jiya's surgery. Both went for surgery.

Jaireem wasn't stopping to thank Sidneet. After surgery, Dr asked Sid to come in cabin. Sid went to cabin. As he reached. Dr asked him to have seat. Sid sat.

Sid: Yes Dr? Anything serious? Avneet and Jiya both are safe nah

Dr: Yes Mr. Nigam. They are safe. But it's obvious they need time to recovery

Sid: Yaa that's absolutely right. We will take care of them fully

Dr: Mr. Nigam I will explain you about Avneet's medicines, diet and all. Lastly her body won't be able to carry child for at least 2 years. After 2 years you can plan your child. There will be no complications.

Sid nodded with smile. Dr explained about Avneet to him then Sid went in room. He saw Jiya and Avneet was wide awake and who family was talking and laughing with them.

Sid (went towards jiya): So my princess is fine nah?

Jiya: Yes! But chachu I want new fridge of icecreams. Only icecreams and for me only

Sid (bowing down): Jo hukum mere aka

He kissed her forehead. She chuckled. Reem wasn't leaving Jiya. She was beside her only.

Vansh (pout): I also want fufa jiiiiiiii (he said last like singing)

Sid (pulling his nose): Aapka hukum saraankho par

Reemnavi (glaring): Sid stop spoiling my baby

Sid closed his ears tight protecting them from bleeding. Abhijeet chuckled.

Avni was looking at them with teary eyes. She was happy. Abhi saw her and sat beside her.

Abhi (kissing her forehead): You never left a chance to make me proud of you princess

Jai (sat in front of avni): Thanks for giving my princess

Avni: Bhai why you are saying thank you to me again and again? Not to forgot jiya is only one who always fights with Sid whenever I want chocolates and he didn't bring them for me

Shivaay (caressing avni's head): Pehle kabhi nahin bataya. 2 thapar lagata or mahashay ko seedha karta

Anika (twisting sid's ear): Meri bachi ko statate hue sharam nahin aati? Bilkul apne baap par gaya hain

Shivaay frowned and everyone chuckled.

Vaish (pout): Abhi I want chat (licking her lips)

Jiya (chuckled): Mausa jiiii I too

Avni (pout): Veer jii me also

Abhi (sternly): Jiya, Avni you both will get khichdi not these foods

Avni, jiya (pointing towards sid): Vo chachu/ Sid ko khilana. I want chat

Abhi, Jai, Sid shook in disbelief as girls being stubborn asking for chats. Elders chuckled and were happy for kids. Avu was admiring all. She saw Sid talking with Vansh and Jiya. A bright smile came on her face.

Avu's P.O.V.

He is so happy with Jiya and Vansh. How much happy he will be when he will be father. When his princess as he always want girl. His princess will call him papa. He will be a perfect father and will pamper his princess so much. I just can't wait to hold her in my arms with my Sid.

She didn't notice a tear rolling down her eye till she felt a thumb wiping it. It was Sid. Sid shooked his head. All were busy in their own so no one noticed. Sid held her hand.

Sid: I am proud of Avni...

Avu: (cuts him) Sid I...

Sid kept a finger on her lips to make her quite.

Sid: Lemme say please. I am extremely proud of you. I am proud to have such a girl as my wife who cares about others before herself. You know you did something which needs a lot of courage. But you didn't think. But don't worry as soon as you will be ready to carry a baby, we will plan, ok? We will be parents soon. Till then we have these cuties

Avu smiled and nodded. Sid kissed her forhead.
