Mitch's P.O.V
I sense someone is following me. I stop and look around. Please stop this Dustin. Shut up Mitch. I'm having fun for once. I don't want to stop and there's nothing you can do about it. I spot someone. Is that Jerome? I smirk. No. Don't you dare. You have hurt him enough! Why? There are others with him. Wait they are going to the East Village. And they are almost there too. The girl looks towards me and I hide.

"W-What Amber?" the guy asks. Oo he's weak. Stryker. No.

"I thought I saw someone." Amber said. I smile again and daggers form in my hand. Aim for Jerome and Stryker. The girl might be useful. You stay away from Amber. Doesn't she kind of remind you of Tay? I mean seriously they seem like it. shut...up. Tay died because of you Mitch. If it wasn't for you she would still be alive. SHUT UP!!! I look at the girl. I aim but some other people come. Sky and Thunder. Sky doesn't look so good. Perfect.

"What's wrong with Sky?" Amber asks.

Sky's P.O.V
"Mitch being demon has finally caught up with him." Thunder said. Wait I sense someone else here. Someone evil. They keep talking. My eyes widen.

"He's here." They look at me.

"Who?" Amber asks.

"M-Mitch."

"Okay Thunder distract while we all get out of here?" Amber asks.

"No I'll distract. You g-guys go."

"Sky you can barely walk-" I pull my arm away and stand on my own.

"I'm fine. G-Go. Give this to Ian. Don't l-let them have this. Don't unwrap it or wear i-it." I hand Thunder the Sapphire Necklace that's wrapped in a cloth. Thunder takes it.

"But S-Sky. H...He kill you." Amber said.

"I'll b-be fine. Go." They don't move for a minute. But then they run as fast as the can. Mitch comes out.

"Whoa how bravely stupid of you to do that." Mitch said. He walks towards me. I'm already dying. They have a chance. Beside Stryker and Jerome need to get help with those wounds. Mitch pushes me a little. I almost fall but I catch myself.

"Your n-not hurting them."

"Why I have already hurt Jerome. But not enough." Mitch said. It's like he's a totally different person. Jerome and Mitch are the closest out of all of us.

"Tay died. I know she did. Mitch i-it wasn't your fault." He looks mad. He pushes me and I fall on the ground. Pain shoots through me.

"Stop it." Mitch said.

"She loves y-you Mitch. She saved you. She chose to d-do it and it's wasn't y-your fault." He comes towards me and stops suddenly. I see his eyes turn normal and then back to red. I smile a little. My vision blurs. He puts a dagger on my neck and grabs my shoulder.

"M-Mitch. Please." They should be far enough away that he won't know where they are. Everything goes black.

Mitch's P.O.V
Sky suddenly goes limp. He has had enough. He can't take this anymore. I push the dagger but I don't cut him. Mitch stop!! No Sky's....right. It's not my fault. I'm in control. Not you. M-M-Mitch. Sky's wrong. My eyes turn normal. I throw the dagger away and it goes into the tree. I fall backwards and crawl away from Sky.

"What is happening to me?" I look at the dagger that's in the tree. I almost killed Sky. I'm killing Jerome with the curse. I can take that off. I crawl to Sky. I put my hand on his neck. He's still alive. I stand up and pull Sky up. I put him on my back. I put his hood up to cover his face. I slowly walk to the village. I feel so lightheaded. But I got to get Sky help. I can feel his body shaking on my back. I'm close to the village. So it's just a matter if I will make it there. I feel so guilty. Not just because of Tay and Jerome. But because I didn't try to stop Dustin before he hurt people like he did. I sort of lose confidence in myself once Tay died. She was killed with arrows. My arrows. How could I let that happen? I love Tay. I let her die. I know this isn't my fault but it feels like it. I see the village. Thunder looks at me. He starts walking towards me. I look at the ground. My vision blurs. I fall on one knee. Thunder quickly takes Sky from me. I collapse and Amber comes and catches me.

"He back to the Mitch we know and love." Amber said. I pull myself up.

"Where's J-Jerome?"

"Can you take the curse off of him?" Amber asks.

"Y-Yes."

"Mitch you-"

"He'll die s-soon." Amber doesn't say anything for a minute.

"Okay, but after this your gonna sleep. Thunder take Sky to the hospital." Amber said. I can't get back up. Thunder leaves quickly.

"Can you stand?" Amber asks.

"N-No." Amber helps me get up and walk towards Jerome. We go into a place with people working on Jerome.

"Move Mitch is gonna take it off." Amber said. Ryan looks at me and takes my other arm.

"But he put it on." Meg said. They help me next to Jerome. I look at his shoulder. It's black and spreading up his neck and down his chest.

"Leave." They leave. I'm so sorry Jerome. I put my hand over Jerome's shoulder. My eyes glow red. The curse starts to disappear. His eyes slowly open. It disappears and my eyes turn normal. I sit on the ground and lean on his bed. Jerome slowly sits up.

"I'm so s-sorry. I c-could control myself." Jerome doesn't move any more.

"Why can't you control yourself Mitch?" Jerome asks sounding harsh. I hug my knees. Tay. It was because of her I totally loss myself. The door opens and Alikai comes in. She shuts the door.

"M-Mitch. How are you here?" Alikai asks. I say nothing. I look at the ground.

"How do feel Jerome?" Alikai asks.

"Better." Jerome said.

"Leave then. I want to speak with Mitch alone." Alikai said. He does slowly.

"We know that Tay died. You know she dying wasn't your fault." Alikai said. I say nothing. She moves towards me and sits on the ground in front of me.

"You gonna talk? We have your bow and quiver. Do you want-"

"No." She looks surprise.

"What did you say?" Alikai asks. I say nothing else. She puts her hands on my arms and goes on her knees closer to me.

"Mitch. I'm here for you. But please you can't give up on archery. It's your thing." Alikai said. No not the archery. I don't want to talk about Tay.

"I d-don't want to talk about Tay." Amber comes in.

"You should get some rest Mitch." Amber said. I look at her for a moment.

"O-Okay."

Izic's P.O.V
"We lost Mitch. Ty, Ghost, and Seto. Give them back." Kitty looks at me.

"Whoa wait that's how you open the gate." Kitty said. I smile.

"Not the only way. Give the powers back. And Kitty kill Sky."

"But-"

"No buts Kitty. Kill the guardian and the one who killed him gets all the power of the guardian. He's weak. So kill Sky or your his replacement."

Kitty's P.O.V
I can't hurt Sky. I bet I already broke his heart. He is suffering. So I could end it. I teleport to the East Village. I look at Ty. Ghost. I kneel next to him. I smile. My hand glows purple and I put my hand on him and his regains his powers. I do the same thing to Ghost and Seto. Jess comes and looks at me.

"Kitty. What are you doing here?" Jess asks.

"I gave them back their powers. Is Sky here? I need to talk to him."

"No. Your not seeing him or talking to him." Jess said harshly. I sign. Fine. I will look for him myself.

"I'll look for him myself."

"No. Stay away from him." Jess said. I disappear and reappear into a room. I leave and put my hood up. I see a nurse come out of a room. I go into it. I close and lock the door. I turn around. I smile. Sky.

CJ's P.O.V
I'm just walking around not knowing where I'm going. I hear a moan. I stop. I'm in the forest. I left the East Village. I just had to leave Quentin. I need to be away from him. I promise myself that I wouldn't fall in love with another guy. But I did with Quentin. I walk towards whoever moaned. My eyes widen. Jason! I run to him. He's standing by he looks like he's gonna collapse any minute. I grab him from behind as his legs give out on him. His eyes are close. The wither curse starts to spread. Lucky my skin isn't touching his or I would have gotten the wither curse. Jason opens his eyes and looks at me.

"I got you don't worry." Jason stands up straight. He still looks like he's gonna lose his balance any minute.

"Come on. The others are in the East Village." I help him walk towards the East Village.

Izic's P.O.V
They were able to get away. I got
into a room and see Grant.

"Sir Kitty is on the task right now."

"Great. But I will say that we should retreat." Grant said. Retreat?

"What?"

"The Sky Army us cripple." Grant said.

"Yeah and it's the perfect time for an attack. They are defenseless."

"Izic calm down. They have ruined my plans already. But we need to leave and retry this again." Grant said.

"But-" He looks at me.

"Izic we have done what we set out to do. Yes I had farther plans but plans have changed. Their leader with destroy them himself. He's unstable." Grant said. I guess yeah.

"Okay and Kitty."

"Call her back. Not to kill Sky. But tell them that we are done and moving on." Grant said. I nod. I teleport to Kitty and Grab her wrist that's close to Sky's chest. She looks at me.

"What?" Kitty asks. Jerome and Quentin come in.

"Orders are to retreat."

"What?" Quentin asks.

"Sky will destroy you guys himself. He's too unstable and he's dangerous. So retreat." Kitty nods.

"Your surrendering?" Jerome asks.

"Yes but if I was you kill Sky before he kills you." We teleport back to Grant.

Jerome's P.O.V
"What just happen?" Quentin asks.

"We won because they are afraid of Sky." I go next to Sky.

"Kill Sky before he kills us. We are not killing Sky right?" Quentin asks.

"No Sky will be fine. But tell the others that we won cause they surrendered." Quentin leaves. This has to be the easiest win that we have ever had.

This book is over. I know it's not my best ending but I was starting to get really bored with this book and I didn't want to lose interest in the series. This was a two book conflict so yeah losing interest. So next book will come out soon and will have a much better ending. Hope you enjoyed On the Edge!!!!
