"Adri stop it!" Marinette giggled, her voice delicate like snow in the video. Emma watched intently from the TV screen as Adrien lifted baby Louis up and down and made airplane noises. "Kitty stop you'll scare him." Louis had tears building up in his eyes but was refusing to scream.
"It's all in good fun." Adrien laughed as he set the baby down in Marin's arms. He quickly ran off to get the baby something to eat.
"Daddy!" Emma gasped at her smaller self run to him and hug his leg. She was no older then four. "Daddy! Can I go to school now? I wanna met people!" Emma smiled. Adrien picked her up.
"Emma, that can't happen." He kissed her forehead.
"Why can't I go!" She whined. Adrien sighed and kissed her forehead again.
"Because my little Valentine-" Emma turned off the TV and held her hand over her mouth, tears threatening her eyes. A few slid down as she thought of her parents, her real parents. She wished she could see them again. Hug them again. She wanted her real parents.
"Emma," she whipped her head to the door and saw Tikki. She walked over to her then sat down next to the fourteen year old. "I know you miss them but these videos won't bring them back."
"Were we not good enough for them?" Emmas voice squeaked. Tikki wrapped her arms around her.
"You were but they just wanted to go. It's not your fault Emma."
"I-I-I-I feel like it is," Emma stammered. "If I I was never born would they still have killed themselves?"
"Most likely," Tikki sighed. "Why don't you get some sleep. I can get Dustin and you two can go to sleep if it'll make you feel better." Emma nodded as she walked up to her room. Dustin walked in minutes later and wrapped his arms around her. Emma turned and dug her head into his chest.
"Dustin," he hummed. "I want my parents back."
"I know you do," he kissed the top of her head and rubbed her back. "Lets get some sleep, okay? Then tomorrow we can go looking for them. They might still be out there." Emma nodded against his chest and soon fell asleep in his arms.
Emma growled as the bag was lifted off of her head. She turned her head to the side and saw Dustin, knocked out. She glared up at them and growled lowly. Her eyes widened as their smirked brought her heart to leap out of her chest. "Hello my little Valentine," Adrien ruffled her hair as Marinette untied her hands. "Welcome home."
"Y-Y-You're alive!" Emma wrapped her arms around Adrien but her arms went through his body. She looked up at him, tears boiling in her eyes. "A-A-Aren't you?"
"No," Marinette giggled, her blue eyes sparkling as she cupped Emmas cheek. Her hands were cold. "You're asleep and we're dead Baby Girl." Emma's breathing hitched as Dustin groaned.
"I miss you so much." Emma looked at her long dead parents.
"We know Emma," Adrien smiled. "But you need to let go of us and live the most exciting life you can with that boy of yours." She knew it was her conscious speaking but from them, it felt like they meant it.
"But I miss you so much, I don't want to be without you."
"You have this long," Marinette smiled. "Now just do it longer. That boy will help you and you can live a life that's just as fun as ours were."
"Now wake up Valentine." Adrien smiled and him and Marinette both kissed her forehead.
Emma jolted up in her sleep and Dustin followed. "Emma what's wrong?" He asked and she dug her head into his shoulder.
"Th-They're dead Dustin. There's no use in finding them." She whimpered and Dustin sighed and kissed her cheek. Emma whimpered and dug her head further into his chest.
