Chapter 4

Evelyn

I got to my apartment floor. I opened the door, shutting the door. Lexi's still on the couch.

"Hey, sorry, I took so long," I said, kicking my converse off. "What took you so long?" she asked.

I sat down on the couch, next to her. "Sorry, after I brought Jensen the scotch, he invited me to have one drink with him. So I accepted his offer," I said.

"You should have texted me you were gonna be late," she said. "I'm sorry, I didn't think of it," I said.

"It's okay. So where does he live?" she asked. "He actually lives in the same building but he's two floors above us," I said.

Lexi looked at me. "He does?!" she asked.

"Yes," I said. "You're joking!" she said.

"Lexi, I'm not joking," I said. "Holy shit! We might run into him," she said, smiling.

I looked at Lexi with daggers, hitting her with a couch pillow.

"Evelyn Marjorie Joanson!" she said. "Hey back off, that's my boss!" I said, defensive.

"I'm kidding. I don't want you to get fired," she said. "It's okay. I'm still in shock that he lives in the same building," I said.

"After you brought him scotch, he invited you to have one drink with him?" she said. "He was being a gentleman," I said.

"That's good. What did you talk about?" she asked. "Just talked. We talked about his kids and Danneel, how he misses them," I said.

"Oh sweet," she said. "Yeah. He showed me the last pictures he took of his family before coming to Toronto," I said.

"Okay, anything else?" she asked. "He asked me, ''How's a woman like me, who's almost 30 and not married? Which was weird," I said.

"I don't see you as the marrying type," she said. "Jake and I never talked about marriage at all," I said.

"Do you want to marry Jake?" she asked. "I can't marry someone that doesn't trust me and keep bringing my past up," I said.

"Well, don't. Marriage is all about trust," she said. I nodded.

"I'll take that advice," I said, smiling. Lexi nodded, smiling.

"Are we still on tomorrow night?" she asked. "Yes, girls night. No work tomorrow," I said, smiling.

"Sweet," she said. "Yup. How's you and Colby doing?" I asked.

"Good. He's away for a game. I miss him though," she said. I nodded. "Well, I'm gonna go to bed," I said.

"Okay, sleep well," she said. "You as well whenever you go to bed," I said. I headed to my room, shutting the door.

Next Night

Lexi and I are getting ready to go out for a girl's night. We are Covid free and have no temp, which is a plus.

Lexi's wearing a short silver dress with sparkly heels.

I am wearing a black corset fashion top, black leather skirt with tights leather garter and heel boots.

"You look sexy, Evie," Lexi said. "You too but are you gonna be cold?" I asked. "I might but I got a jacket though," she said.

"I am bringing my hoodie to keep me warm if we're outside," I said. "True, you should show these more often," she said, touching my tits.

I hear a car horn honking. "Our Uber's here. Are you ready?" I asked.

Lexi got her heels on. "Yes, let's go," she said.

I grabbed my key, we headed out the door.

An Hour Later

We are at 44 Toronto. We got a few drinks and shots.

We're dancing, drinking and having fun. I took a few selfies with Lexi and a few people.

I took another lemon drop shot and chased it with soda. "I'm gonna use the ladies' room," I said.

"Want me to go with you?" Lexi asked. "Nah, I'll be okay," I said, getting up.

I took my drink to prevent roofiers spiking my drink. "Okay. I'll get you another whiskey and cola," she said.

I raised my hand up, fist pumping. I headed to the restrooms.

I see a line for the women's washroom. I sighed softly, tapping my foot.

I grabbed my phone, unlocking it. I opened my text messages, seeing both Jake and Jensen's names next to each other.

My eyes started getting blurry. I closed my eyes, clicked my screen.

I start texting, my eyes still blurring.

Jensen

I am sitting on my couch, watching tv after doing the Gish opening ceremony with Misha then FaceTiming with JJ and Danneel before they went to bed.

My phone vibrated, I see it's a new text from Evie. I opened them, reading them.

"What the?" I asked myself.

'Jake, babe! How are you? I am drunk as fuck!' "This is an accidental text," I whispered, chuckling.

I put my phone down. I turned the tv on, and my phone vibrated again.

It's Evie again. 'Why aren't you texting me back, Jake? Babe!'

I noticed that they're actually for her boyfriend. "I think she's drunk," I whispered.

'I am not wearing any underwear!'
'I'm in Evie Mode, babe! I want to fuck!'

I continue to read all of Evie's text. "She's very very drunk," I said.

My phone vibrated, it was Evie again.

'I guess we are not gonna Skype tonight, that's fine. Have a good night. Bye, bye.'

I sighed angrily, shutting my phone off. "I shouldn't get a new PA," I mouthed.

I got up, grabbing the scotch. I chugged it down from the bottle, biting my lip.

I took a screenshot of Evie's texts that she sent me.

Evelyn

A couple of hours passed, Lexi and I got home after partying and getting drunk. She led me to my room since I am too wasted.

She laid me down on my bed. "I think I had too much," I said. "We both did, but I didn't go overboard," she said, taking my heel boots off.

I nodded, adjusting myself on my pillow. Lexi covered me up. "Here's your trash can, just in case you throw up and rest well," she said.

"Okay. Jake never texted me back," I said. I groaned softly then closed my eyes.

Next Morning

I woke up with the worst hangover. I don't remember anything that happened last night.

I grabbed my phone. Still no replies from Jake or see any of the texts that I sent him.

"Huh?" I asked, exiting out. I put my phone down.

I got out of bed, going to the kitchen. "Morning, sleepy head," Lexi said.

"Morning, I need some Ibuprofen after last night," I said. "Girl, you got very drunk. Like Snooki drunk," she said, giving me coffee.

"Thanks. Did I turn into my alter ego?" I asked. "You went into Evie Mode, so yes you did," she said.

I nodded, taking Ibuprofen and a sip of coffee. "I needed this," I said.

"I ran into Jensen this morning," she said. I looked at Lexi when she mentioned Jensen.

"What did he want?" I asked, yawning. "You don't remember?" she asked.

"Remember what?" I asked, groaning. "You don't remember texting him drunk?" she asked.

I shook my head, confused. "No, I didn't text him. I was texting Jake," I said.

"You better look at your texts to Jensen," she said. I went to my room, taking my phone off the charger.

I went to the living room. I opened up the text messages.

I clicked on messages with Jensen, seeing the texts I accidently sent to Jensen that were for Jake.

My eyes opened wide, reading them again. "Fuck me, Jensen's gonna be fucking pissed," I said grabbing my hair.

"He already is. You need to tell him that the texts weren't for him tomorrow," she said.

"I'll do that tomorrow when I go to work," I said. Lexi nodded.

"Hopefully you won't get fired," she said. "I hope not," I paused, covering my mouth.

I ran to the bathroom, throwing up in the toilet. Lexi held my hair back.

"Damn, you had too much to drink," she said. I finished throwing up, groaning.

"I'm never drinking again," I said, flushing. "Don't jinx yourself," she said.

Monday

I went to work, walking over to Jensen's trailer. I knocked on the door.

Jensen opened the door, looking pissed off. "Evie," he said, angrily.

"Am I in trouble?" I asked. "Don't ask me the question, you already know the answer to," he said.

"Can we talk about this?" I asked. "Now's not the time. We'll talk about this later, okay?" he asked, angry.

"Okay Mr. Ackles," I said. "Good, now, get out of my site until I come for you," he said, slamming the door shut.

I walked away from his trailer. "Fucking asshole," I whispered.

I took a walk away from the set, sighing. I sat down on a bench, looking over Toronto.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck," I whispered. "Hey, doll face," Karl said.

I look over at Karl. "Hi, Karl," I said, looking away.

"Why the long face, love?" he asked, sitting next to me. I sighed softly, looking at him.

"Long story. I might get fired today," I said. "Did you get on Ackles' bad side?" he asked.

"I accidentally drunk texted him. They were supposed to be for someone else," I said.

"We have those drunken days and regret them the next morning," he said. "But, I'm still gonna get fired," I said.

"Just talk to him when he comes around," he said. I nodded, sighing.

I hear feet approaching. "Speak of the devil," Karl said. I look over, I see Jensen.

"Oh fuck me in the ass hole," I whispered. "Hey Karl. Mind if I talk to Evie alone?" Jensen asked.

"Sure, mate. Take it easy on her," Karl whispers, walking away.

Jensen sat next to me, I moved away from him. "Evie..," he paused as I interrupted him.

"Go ahead, fire me," I said.

"Don't interrupt me. One, I'm not gonna fire you. Two, explain why you sent me these texts on Saturday," he said, showing his phone.

"Those texts weren't supposed to be for you. They were for my boyfriend. I was drunk. I had drunk eyes and thought I clicked on his name, not noticing that I sent them to you. I apologize. It won't happen again," I said.

"Apology accepted. You still got on my bad side. This is your first warning, Evie," he said, standing up.

"It won't happen again, Jensen. I promise," I said, looking down.

Jensen grabs my chin, making me look up at him. "Good girl. Since you got on my bad side, you will call me Mr. Ackles," he said, walking away.

I look over at him, seeing him walking away. I secretly checked him out. I took my phone out, calling Lexi.

It's rung a couple of times. "Hey. How did it go?" she asked.

"I told him that those weren't for him, they were for my boyfriend," I said. "Oh good," she said.

"And I told him I was drunk and I apologized and told him it'll never happen again," I said.

"What did he say?" she asked. "He accepted my apology," I said.

"That's good. Is he still mad?" she asked.
"I still got on his bad side. He gave me a warning. I told him it won't happen again, promising him," I said.

"Good, at least he forgave you," she said. "And he did something that weird me out," I said.

"What?" she asked. "He lifted my chin and said 'good girl' like Christian Grey would say to Ana on Fifty Shades," I said, creeped out.

"That's very weird," she said. "I better go," I said.

"Okay, see you later," she said. "Bye," I said, ending the call.

Jensen

I got back to my trailer after talking to Evie. I am still pissed at her even though I forgave her.

I opened up my phone, looking at the screenshot of Evie's texts.

I started reading all her texts that she sent. "I'm gonna do something to Evie that she never expect," I thought to myself with a dominant attitude.

Question: What does Jensen have planned for Evie? Will she get fired? Find out...
