Chapter 5
Next Morning
Evelyn
I groaned softly, rubbing my eyes. I sighed softly, turning over on my side, wrapping my arm around Jensen's waist.
Jensen was sleeping as I looked up at him. I looked at the time.
Jensen opened his eyes, sighing as he saw me. "Morning, baby," Jensen said.
"Morning, baby," I said, smiling. Jensen smiles, kissing my head as we cuddle together.
"What time is it?" he asked. "7am. What time do you have to be at the airport?" I asked.
"About noonish," he said. I nodded. "Okay. You better get ready," I said.
"I better take a shower. Want to join me?" he asked.
I nodded. "Sure," I said, sitting up. We both got up to take a shower.
Later
Jensen and I got dressed after the shower. Jensen made sure he got all of his stuff.
I helped him get his stuff to my car.
Jensen took back his rental car he rented while living here in Toronto.
Jensen came down with the last of his stuff that he brought with him.
Jensen put it in the backseat of my car. "Got everything?" I asked.
"Yes, if I forget something, can you keep it with you?" he asked. "Sure I can," I said.
"Okay. I better give these keys back to the landlord," he said. "Okay. I'll be waiting out here," I said.
Jensen headed inside as I got into my car. I got in, shutting the door.
I waited for Jensen to get into my car.
I see Jensen coming back to my car.
He got in the passenger seat. He shuts the door. "Ready?" I asked.
"Let's go," Jensen said. I started my car, pulling out of my parking spot and driving off.
"Do you need me to stop anywhere before going to the airport?" I asked.
"Can you stop at StarBucks? I need to get a coffee to stay awake," he said. "Of course," I said, driving.
An Hour Later
We got to the airport after stopping at Starbucks. We both got hot coffee.
I pulled into a parking area so I could help him get this stuff out of my car.
Jensen grabbed a luggage cart.
We got his stuff on it. "Okay, that's everything," Jensen said.
"Okay. I guess this is where we part," I said. "That's true. Well I will see you in a week, baby," he said.
"Okay. Thank you for letting me be your PA, it was an honor," I said.
"No, thank you for being the best PA I could ever ask for," he said.
"You're welcome," I said, smiling.
Jensen smiled back.
"Come here, baby," Jensen said, pulling me into a hug. I held him as we hugged each other.
"Have a safe flight, baby," I said. "I will," he said, looking at me.
I nodded, smiling. Jensen cupped my cheek as we kissed each other.
I cupped his cheek as I kissed him back. We slipped our tongues into each other's mouths.
I gently bit Jensen's bottom lip.
Jensen and I placed each other's forehead.
"I love you, Evelyn," he whispered. "I love you too, Jensen. You better get going," I whispered.
Jensen nodded. "Okay. I'll call you once I get back to Texas," he said.
"Okay, see you in a week," I said.
"See you later, baby," he said.
"Bye," I said, smiling. Jensen and I hugged again. We pulled away as we parted from each other.
I get in my car, seeing Jensen heading inside. Jensen looks back, waving at me.
I waved at him back as I drove off. I exited the airport area, continue driving home.
---
I made it back to my apartment building, going back to Jensen's apartment to make sure he has all of his luggage.
I checked his apartment, looking around. I decided to clean up his apartment so other tenants can move in.
Later That Day
I finished cleaning and vacuuming Jensen's apartment. I got the flogger, blind fold and cuffs that he left for me to put in my apartment.
I grabbed my clothes that I wore for Lexi's birthday dinner. I looked around, locking the door.
I shut the door, making sure it's locked. I headed to the elevator, heading to my floor.
I waited for the doors to open. I got to my floor, getting off the elevator.
I headed to my apartment. I unlocked the door with my key.
I headed inside, I saw Colby and Lexi all dressed up. "Morning, the newly engaged couple," I said.
"Morning, Evie," Colby said. "Hey, Evie. Where's Jensen?" Lexi asked.
"I just took him to the airport. His flight's at noon and he wanted to get there so he could get on his flight to Texas," I said.
"Okay. Well, I told Colby that I'm pregnant," Lexi said. "And?" I asked.
"He's excited to be a daddy," she said.
Colby smiled.
"I'm gonna be a daddy!" Colby said. "You two are gonna make great parents. Congratulations," I said.
"Thank you, Evie," Colby and Lexi said. "You're welcome," I said.
"So what are you doing right now?" she asked. "Nothing, why?" I asked.
"I was wondering if you wanted to get some brunch with Colby and I," she said.
"Sure, that sounds good," I said. "Awesome," she said.
"Well, let me change first. I've been wearing shorts and a hoodie since last night," I said, heading to my room.
I got dressed into jeans, shirt and Jensen's giant hoodie since I miss him already.
I decided not to wear makeup on my face since I'm still tired. I sighed softly, heading out of my room.
"Okay, I'm ready," I said. "Okay, lets go," Lexi said. Colby, Lexi and myself left the apartment.
---
We got to brunch, I am sitting across from Colby and Lexi. We are eating, however we are not drinking because Lexi's pregnant.
I looked at my phone. "So what did you and Jensen do after my birthday dinner?" Lexi asked.
I didn't answer. "Do you really want me to answer that?" I asked, looking at her.
"Of course, they fucked because it was Jensen's last night with her," Colby said. I rolled my eyes as Colby knew what Jensen and I did after Lexi's birthday dinner.
"Oh, I didn't need to know that," she said. "Well, you shouldn't have asked," I said.
Lexi nodded. "Noted," she said. "So, how did you tell Colby that you were pregnant?" I asked.
"Well, I gave him a gift box with the pregnancy tests that I took to show him that I was pregnant, he opened it and saw all the positive tests I saved," she said.
"When I opened the box, and saw them. I asked her if I'm gonna be a daddy? And she nodded and cried; That's why I couldn't drink the wine on my birthday. I was very happy that I'm going to be a daddy," he said.
"I know it's soon for us to have a baby but we can make it work," she said to Colby. Colby nodded, smiling.
"I'm excited to be a daddy," he said. "I'm excited to be a mommy," she said.
Lexi and Colby nodded, kissing each other. I smiled at them.
"I'm so happy that you guys are gonna be parents," I said. "Thank you, Evie," she said.
"So are you planning the wedding before or after the baby's born?" I asked. "We're not sure yet," Lexi said.
"Yeah, we're not sure yet," Colby said. "What would you choose, Evie?" Lexi asked.
"Umm..," I paused, thinking about it.
"It's just a suggestion. If I was you two, I'd get married before you start showing. Don't elope without telling your families," I said.
Lexi and Colby nodded. "Before we have the baby, we better find a house to live in and raise our baby," Lexi said.
"I agree. We're gonna need space. Before we do that, we have to help Evie pack her stuff so she can move to Rochester," Colby said.
"Oh that's right, we need to help Evie with her move," Lexi said. "Are you excited to move into your new apartment?" Colby asked.
"Very excited. Starting Monday, I'm putting in Personal Assistant applications all over Rochester," I said.
"Oh that's gonna be good. I heard there's this publishing company in Rochester that is hiring a new PA. Try that one too," Lexi said.
I nodded, thinking about it. "I'll give it a try," I said.
We continued having brunch and enjoying the afternoon.
Later That Night
I am in my room, getting my stuff in my room in boxes. I took off all of the pictures I have on my bulletin board.
I put them in a photo album book, looking at the pictures that I took while being on-set of The Boys.
I see a picture of me and Jack at the bowling alley. Jensen, Karl, Jack and me as an old hotel maid in a BTS picture.
Jack and Karl were so shocked that I was in that old lady's makeup. I start smiling at that one.
I looked at the ones of me and Jensen, smiling at them. I heard mine and Lexi's phone ringing, so I got up off the floor.
I headed to the living room, grabbing the cordless phone.
"Hello?" I asked. "Hey, baby," I heard Jensen.
"Hey, how was your flight?" I asked. "It was good, wishing you were next to me," he said.
"That's good. Did you make it home safe?" I asked, heading back to my room. "I did. I made it home safely," he said.
"That's good, how's Danneel and the kids feeling about you being home?" I asked, sitting on my bed.
"The kids are happy that their daddy's home. Danneel and I talked," he said. "How did that go?" I asked.
"Danneel and I have agreed for me to stay in the guest bedroom of the house until our divorce is finalized so I can see my kids under the same roof," he said.
"Oh that's good," I said. "Are you okay with me staying at mine and Danneel's house with my kids?" he asked.
"Of course. It's the best way for the kids to see you," I said. "Okay. Did Lexi tell Colby that she's pregnant," he asked.
"She did. Colby's excited to be a father," I said. "That's good. What are you doing at the moment?" he asked.
"Oh just putting my pictures that were on my bulletin board into a photo album, including memories I want to keep," I said.
"What about the pictures of you and Jack?" he asked. "I'll keep them in a private box. Are you okay with me and Jack still being friends?" I asked.
"Of course. I'm not gonna get jealous," he said. "Good," I said.
"Are you excited about your move?" he asked. "Yes, I can't wait to get out of Toronto," I said.
"That's good. I better get some sleep, still a little sleepy. I couldn't sleep on the plane," he said.
"Okay, sleep well, baby," I said. "I will. I'll call you tomorrow," he said.
"Okay, night," I said. "Night, baby. I love you," he said.
"I love you too," I said, ending the call. I sighed softly as I missed him already.
I took the phone back to the charger.
I headed back to my room to finish packing up my things.
I start putting things in boxes. "Good thing my apartment building already has furniture except me," I said to myself.
I heard a knock on the door. "Come in," I said. The door opens and it's Lexi.
"Hey, Evie," she said, coming in. "Hey, Lexi. How are you feeling?" I asked.
"I'm good. I just threw up," she said. "That's normal for the first three months," I said.
Lexi nodded. "Well, I made a doctor's appointment to see how far along I am for tomorrow. And I was wondering if you could come with me? Colby has practice. Plus, you were pregnant before," she said.
"Yeah, I will. Aunt Evie will be the best auntie ever, little one," I said, touching Evie's little belly.
Lexi nodded, smiling. "I'll help you pack," she said. I nodded as Lexi and I continued to pack my stuff.
