Marinette
"Back straiter Marinette!" The ballet teacher exclaims, causing my shoulders to tense. But I knew she would notice that so I tried my best to look relaxed. The snickering a few feet away from me made that hard though.
I didn't even need to turn to know it was Chloe, her harsh features fresh in my memory. Another giggle accompanied her own and my teeth clinch. I didn't know the girls name. All I knew was that she was tied to Chloe's hip like a lost puppy.
I sigh deeply, straitening my back like told to.
When the soft music cuts off, the class breathes a sigh of relief, knowing class was over. Yet my heart still filled with nervousness.
She going to ask me to come speak with her. I know she is. She'll ask me why my postures are so weak or that I look tired. She always does the morning after I come back from dance.
I grip the wooden pole, thoughts from last night circling my head. My legs still ached from the dance I had with Chat.
Chat
A small smile rises on my lips. Stupid cat.
I turn to get my dance bag, surprised to see a boy digging in it. His emerald green eyes lock onto mine and they widen, shocked. His blonde hair was parted neatly to the side and his skin was pale.
I've never seen him here before. What was his name?
At the sight of Chloe laughing historically a few feet away from him, my face heats up. I speed walk to him, yanking my bag out of his hands.
"What are you doing!" I yell, looking into my bag. Chewing gum stuck to my pair of tennis shoes. I groan.
I look back up, giving the boy the nastiest glare I could. He flinches, turning his head away.
"I-I didn't! I was trying to take the gum off!"
I cut him off, slinging my bag over my shoulders.
"Yeah right! Your friends with Chloe right? Well haha you three. Very funny."
I shoot him one more glare before walking towards the doors, away from him. The teacher doesn't even stop me to talk to me.
When I get to the doors, I push them open, getting hit by a gush of wind.
I scowl.
Adrian. That's his name.
