"Don't feel embarrassed, I have a habit of making girls fall for me" A voice says, snickering.
"Oh my god!" I scream, shoving away the person who stopped me from falling.
They back away with a surprised yelp and soon after, I hear a loud thump. Assuming they fell, I quickly back away. The darkness in the room made it hard to see the mysterious figure and the green eyes I once saw disappeared. But I already had an idea on who was sitting on the floor.
"Ow! What the hell?!" They groan, shouting aimlessly into the dark room.
"Don't 'What the hell' me you psycho! You don't just grab someone you don't even know and expect them not to freak out!"
I head to the window quickly. My hands reach to pry it open, but the sweat on my palms made it difficult to open. The shifting behind me meant that the anonymous person was starting to stand. I try to force the the window up and breathe a sigh of relief when it creaks open.
"Y'know for a person who almost fell on their ass, you'd think they'd be a little nicer to the person who caught their fall. Do you even know who your talking to?!" I hear them pout behind me, causing me to turn abruptly.
"Yes I do know who I'm talking to! I'm talking to Chat Noir, the idiot who lost to Ladybug last week because he was too cocky!"
"Why does everyone keep bringing that up?!" He shouts, frustrated. I hear him walk towards the end of the room.
Suddenly the lights turn on and my eyes water at the sudden brightness. Squinting towards the light switch, I see Chat, red in the face with his hands running through his hair. His eyes widened slightly when he gets a closer look at me.
"Hey, your that girl who didn't think I would convince Ladybug to be my dance partner" He said, walking to me. Before I can turn around and leave through the window, he grabs my hand, forcing me to look at him. I try to yank myself free, but he places a firm hand on my waist, pulling me closer.
A little part of me thought that this guy probably knew nothing about personal space. Every time I've seen Chat, whether it be on the dance floor or in public, he's always gotten a little too close. He was close enough for me to hear the slight mummer of music coming through the earbuds that wrapped around his ears weirdly.
"What's with you and always trying to seduce random girls you don't even know" I hissed.
He frowned for a split second, as if saddened by what I said. But he quickly replaces it with a sarcastic smile.
"As if, you barely even know me" He scoffed, shifting his eyes away from mine.
"You barely know me "
"Why don't we change that" He challenged, suddenly spinning me abruptly and catching me off guard. I'm about to shout at him again when I'm met with his typical cocky smile. My eyes widen.
"Dance with me"
