(Your POV (Male POV))

I looked at Monse, she was hugging Cesar and he was kissing her cheek. They had just come out and told us they were dating, everyone was happy. I was jealous. I have always had a crush on her but nobody knew since I never told anybody.

"Hey (y/n), you tryna come over after school? Oscar's making food." asked Cesar, "We can have a guy's day."

"You guys need to confess love for each other and date already." laughed Jamal

I shook my head, "I'm not gay. But sure Cesar, I'll ask my mom."

After school, I walked besides Cesar, he was scrolling through his Instagram feed.

"So, you trying smoke?" asked Cesar

"Can't. They're doing drug tests in soccer."

Cesar sighed, "Man I want too but Monse doesn't like it. She says it stinks."

I shrugged.

We walked in silence, we arrived and threw our backpacks on the sofa.

"Aye homie, how you been?" asked Oscar, "You good?"

"I guess. What 'bout you?"

"Been alright." replied Oscar, he grabbed a beer pointing it towards me, "Want some?"

"I can't, soccer. Sorry."

"So you got a hyna? Or someone you fucking?" smirked Oscar

"Uh I like someone, she's just taken."

Cesar choked on his drink, "Who?! I thought you said you didn't like anybody?"
Fuck did I just snitch on myself?

"Oh, I do. She's amazing. She's dating this dude who doesn't treat her right, I can treat her better."

"Damn, dark. Who is she?" asked Cesar

"You don't know her."

"Tell me (y/n)! Maybe I can help you get her," said Cesar

My blood was boiling hot, I had enough, I couldn't keep it in anymore. "It's Monse! Ok?! I've liked her since middle school. You don't treat her right! She deserves someone better."

Cesar turned bright red, he lunged towards me, punching me on the jaw, "You fucking dick!"

I started punching back and we kept going back in forth until Oscar pulled us back.

"Be men and sort this out!" yelled Oscar

"Nah, I don't give a shit anymore. I'm done."

I grabbed my stuff and headed outside. I can't be here. Cesar can be a dick sometimes.
