[Logan's pov]

"I'm sorry, Zack"

"It's okay, Logan. I could feel us breaking apart too."

"What happened, Zack? It was so good in the beginning."

"It just wasn't meant to be. That happens in relationships."

"I'll miss you, Zack."

"I'm always going to be at the theater department if you want to see me. Promise you'll cheer me on at graduation?"

"Of course. I promise, Zack."

"Guess I'll see you later, Logan. Have fun at work!"

Then he walked away with his familiar smile.

I should go to work now. I'm going to work now. I quite enjoy my workplace. It's a cafe with an astronomical theme. It's a calming and nice.

"Hey, Logan."

"Salutations, James."

James is my co-worker. We became friends three months after working here. Sadly, like Zack, he is a senior. I hope my next co-worker isn't insufferable.

I quickly put on my required apron and join James behind the counter. We served boring customer after boring customer. Social interaction was my least favorite part of this job.

"H-hey, can I uh have a caramel frappe?" I heard a customer ask nervously. I look up to see...Virgil?

"Virgil? What are you doing here?"

"Logan? I got accepted here for college. I just moved into one of the freshman dorms. It's so good to see you!"

My friend from my childhood was here. I get to see him again. After countless of nights of hoping to meet him once again, I have.

I tell James the order and ask him to metaphorically hold the fort. Being the wonderful co-worker he is, he happily agreed. I walked over to Virgil and gave a him a tight hug.

"I can't believe I am seeing you again."
