A few days has passed since I helped the ARC Resistance build weapons, fend off demons, rescue missions, I'm currently at the ARC Complex with Juvia talking with each other.

Juvia: And that's how I almost made all of the UAC Facility go into blackout.

Y/N: *chuckles* That's nothing compared to the time I almost blew up the entire Fortress of Doom. I ended up carrying two tons of stones and dragged them across Sentinel Prime. I dragged five of them stacked altogether, and if they fell, back from the start.

Juvia: That must be hard for you.

Y/N: Well, yes but actually no. I mean, my strength is just the same as Dad's. He did that to discipline me. I gotta be honest that sometimes he is harsh to me, but he only does those things so I can be prepared.

Juvia: How lucky you are, to have a parent like him.

Y/N: That he's the Slayer?

Juvia: No, a loving parent, there are some of those who are mistreated by their parents, some are left behind by their parents, I am one of those who were left behind.

Then she looked to the distance with a hint of sadness in her eyes, I feel......bad for her. Then I pulled out Hayden's chip and I held my hand out, she looked at me confused and a hologram and miniature version of Samuel Hayden's chassis popped up.

Juvia: D-Doctor Hayden?

Samuel: I see you have been busy, helping mankind fight back.

Juvia: I-it's the least thing I can do. I need to do something better than my mother. Along the way I need to forget about her too.

Samuel: Why would you want to forget about her? She's your mother, I know that she may have given you very little attention back in the UAC Facility, but she loves you, for 18 years your mother left to work in the Facility to help mankind, when she heared that you are working in the Facility....she....was afraid that you will hate her, she did everything she can to stay in contact with your father and you. She keeps trying to find a way to take all that back and be with you again. She ended up making a deal with Hell and they promised her a lot of things, but one that made her take the deal, is to reverse time and spend time with you again, she accepted. But in order to do that, she will need to open a portal from Hell on Mars, and let the invasion consume humans to produce more Argent Energy. She needed more Argent Energy to enable Hell to give her what she wants, but she was deceived and she was killed in Hell.

Y/N: Dad saw her get struck by some sort of red lightning, it might be Argent Energy.

Samuel: She never meant all of those things, she only wanted to spend more time with you. She did all of that just to see you grow in front of her own eyes, she was planning to help Hell to reverse time and when they did, she will watch you grow and show you love that you were not given. And if you're asking that she is going to make a deal again with Hell, she will refuse, she will not go back to the path of pain and anguish that she caused, shw only wanted to see you again, and love you. But she was betrayed.

Juvia: Is.......is this......true?

Samuel: Yes, every word of it, she loved you, Juvia. She was afraid that you wouldn't accept her for leaving you and your father on Earth. Reversing time was her only option to see you again.

Juvia:..............Thank you......Dr. Hayden.

Then Samuel gave a nod and went back to the chip, I put the chip back in my helmet and Juvia walked towards one of the ballistic glass, a few moments that she stared in the distance, in silence, not moving a muscle.

After a few more seconds, she suddenly dropped to her knees and she covered her mouth wirh both of her hands, she was crying. Yeah, no shit Sherlock it's fucking obvious that she's crying, dumbass. Good job me.

I walked closer to her and I was about to put my hand on her shoulder when she immediately jumped towards me and she gave me a hug, a tight one even when I'm in my Praetor.

I was hesitating to hug back in fear of breaking her back like a toothpick, but I just got my mind off of it, I gently wrapped my covered arms around her and I returned the hug, she continued to cry while giving me a hug.

A parent that would do anything, just to see their kid, or loved ones again, Dad went through Hell just to see his previous family back in the original dimension where my Dad grew up, only to find out that they were killed or worse, turned to demons. And the Betrayer, who made a deal with Hell, to bring his son back to life, with the price to guide the demons to Argent D'nur, only to see him turn into such an atrocity.

I can't blame Olivia, or the Betrayer for what they have done, they only wanted to see their kids again, I can't stay mad at that forever.

Timeskip

Juvia finally got back from all the crying and went to work, I was helping one of the scientist construct a turret, I was finishing a few things, and I was only connecting the wires.

Y/N: Okay, this goes here and here, that stays there, and this......uhhhhhh? Goes here?

I connected one of the wires resulting it to short circuit sending a wave of electricity all over my, I jumped from the sudden surge and I banged my head. I just growled in response and I stood up, then the facility was in full alert, an invasion is happening here.

Vega: Demonic presence at unsafe levels, proceed with caution.

ARC Defense Ambassador: WARNING!!! DEMONIC PRESENCE DETECTED!!!

All of the scientist went to the shelter, I grabbed my Combat Shotgun and I went down the elevator, I saw an Imp and I kept shooting it until it was covered in a flashing blue and orange light, I dashed forward and I took the Glory kill.

I knocked it down and it snarled at me, I crushed it's head with a brutal kick, I saw a Baron and I switched to the Chaingun, I activated it's Mobile Turret Mode and it kept spitting hot lead until my hud indicated that the Baron was now suitable for a Glory Kill.

I dashed forward and I dug my hand into the Baron's chest and I grabbed it's pulsing hesrt and crushed it killing the beast. I switched to the Gauss Cannon and shot a Revenant's skull off. M
I am running low on ammo so I pulled out the Chainsaw and I ran after an Imp

I cut the Imp in half and my ammo was once again full, I grabbed the Super Shotgun, or as Dad would like to call it the
"Old Reliable" and shot a few Imps, I saw two Barons and they lunged at me but I already aimed the shotgun in front of them.

I aimed the shotgun in it's mouth and the blast blew up the head, I aimed it again to the other one and I shot it three times until it finally went down.

I started walking around the ARC Complex getting rid of demons. But as I get deeper into the Complex, the demons are getting hard to handle, but not too hard.
I kept walking around the Complex until I reached the Lobby of the Complex, I was ambushed by demons, I was surrounded and outnumbered, I quickly got out of the way and I shot everything I see in my path.

Timeskip

Blood splattered all over my armor and the ground, corpses of the demons just laying on the floor, I was panting heavily and I am out of ammo, I am low on health and I can't feel my damn body, I must have overworked it.

I just kneeled there, catching my breath, sweating heavily under my armor, I finally stood up and the numbness of my body was gone, I was about to walk away when I heared something...footsteps? Some of them are running, I turned around and saw.....Shit!

(This was taken from an actual gameplay, I feel so sorry for the player. )

I sighed frustratedly and I pulled out the Chainsaw, I revved it up and it was now ready, I prepared myself for what's to come and for a split second, they all sent a wave of Argent Energy cutting through air, I gripped the Chainsaw tighter and I ran towards all of them.

Then I felt something hit me from the side, and I saw..........Dad? He rammed me out of the way and he took the hit instead, I was sent flying and I saw him look at me and gave me a thumbs up.

Y/N: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Then at the final moment, all three of the Argent Energy attacks hit him making an explosion and leaving smoke in the area. The smoke clears and I saw my father's body laying on the floor, bleeding.

My eyes were covered in flaming orange, the armor was emitting heat and a few seconds later my whole armor was emitting a flaming aura. I gritted my teeth and I sent a wall of flames making all three Marauders dodge out of the way, three tentacles made out of flames grabbed all three of them and I raised my hand and the tentacles were crushing all three of them as if I was just crushing them with my fist.

Then my fist was fully clenched and all three of them was set in flames, then they all disintegrated into ash. I ran to my Dad and I returned to normal. I slided down and I held onto his hand. I removed his helmet and he was coughing up blood

Y/N: No-no-no-no-no-no. Why did you do that? I can handle them!

Doom Slayer: *coughs* Because you're my son. I don't want seeing you being in danger. I will do anything to keep you away from danger.

Y/N: *starts tearing up* But you're dying! I'm the reason you're like this!

Doom Slayer: Me getting killed by Hell is inevitable. I'm getting old for this. I've done my part, and it's time to do your's.

Y/N: Are you...implying-

Doom Slayer: You are going to take my place. I have reached the end of my road. But you have only just begun, take my power, they will help you with your job. But be warned, this is a burden you can't just throw away, you have to fight to protect mankind, even if it means losing the things you hold dear. Are you ready?

I shed a tear under my helmet and I stood up.

Y/N: I..am ready.

Then he raised his hand and he was suddenly covered by electricity, he shot the electricity towards me, at first it was a bit...shocking?

(Sorry I had to do it XD)

Then I was covered by a bright light and was also covered too. I closed my eyes and the light got brighter. As the light faded I felt, taller, faster......stronger. Like my strength and my Dad's strength are combined and much much stronger. I also noticed that I was in a different armor.

How come when Dad was wearing this his bicpes are showing? Probably because he gave this to me I'm still wearing the Praetor and somehow Dad's Armor and the Praetor merged together making a sealed version of Dad's armor.

I looked down and saw that dad didn't have an armor on, he was only wearing a military pants, and his UAC Shirt that was covered in blood, his blood.

Doom Slayer: That looks good on you kid.

I kneeled back down and I held his hand again.

Doom Slayer: You now hold my title, protect mankind and keep Hell from taking over humanity. Rip...and...Tear.

Y/N: Rip and Tear...Until it is done. Goodbye father.

Then he smiled and he started losing grip on my hands. His skin turned pale and he stopped breathing, I took off my helmet and started crying while I was still resting against his dead body, hoping that he will come back to life. But he didn't, his life ended, but his legacy live one, a man truly dies if his legacy died.

The Slayer is Reborn, stronger than ever. You demons, you better get ready, because it's gonna be Hell to Pay!

And Finished.

Another chapter done for this story and this is going pretty fine.

Things here in the Philippines are getting worse, those who actually need Relief Packs are not given, and those who looks like they can fend for themselves are given. Where's the justice in that?

And the other people here are disrespecting the frontliners and it makes me sick. I'm going to swear say some things in Filipino language, if you can understand what I'm saying, pardon my launguage.

Putangina ninyo! Mga hayop kayo! And mga mahihirap hindi ninyo binibigyan ny Relief Packs tapos and mga mayayaman binibigyan ninyo? Ibang klaseng katarantaduhan yan! Ang fronliners na nga ang nagsasakripisyo para makatulong sa pagbawas at pag monitor ng mga kaso ng Covid-19! Mga hayop kayo!

Sorry I had to do that, and if you're thinking that Philippines is one of the best countries, well no. The only thing they let you see is the beautiful landscapes of the Philippines not the current situation of the country. There are a lot of killings, pollution, accidents, War on Drugs, all that type of shit. Almost everyday you can see in the news that there are people getting killed in Manila
