Scott POV

We went outside of Esme's house. And walked to the end of the street where we have head million races before.

"Same starting and ending point?" Asked Brian.

"Yep." Replied Stace.

"Okay uhhm I was never really apart of the group can someone please tell me the points?" Said Steve.

"Oh well we start at the sign that has Anderson str and Dot str on it and end by the sign that says -" said Em.

"Let me guess line str." Steve said with a laugh.

"That's what I used to say." Said Cher.

"Well no actually Moore street." Said Esme

Steve turned and looked at Kat.

She sighed. "No I don't live there."

"Get that question a lot?" Asked Steve.

We all replied with a yep.

We all lined up. Normally Em would count us in but this time she is actually joining so we all just counted.

"1...2...3...Go!" We all yelled.

Athena stayed in our pace. Then she started jogging backwards.

"See you guys at the end." She winked them saluted us. She then took off and left us all in the dust.

"What the fuck!?" Yelled Britt.

"I tried to warn you." I heard both Cher and Steve mumble under their breathes.

Well shit. Good to see nothings changed.

Looks like the reunion came a lot faster then I thought.

Which was nice accept the fact that Athena is definitely still as fast as she has always been. She is practically 10 meters ahead of us all.

We all aren't panting tho like sure you can see the sweat but we a pretty fit group.

I am like tied in second place with Brian to my right and Dave to his and Esme to my left and Cher to hers.

Steve ,Stace ,Britt and Em right behind us like if I ran an inch slower we would all probably collide and fall.

"And I won suckers!" kat yelled flipping us two birds.

As we all finally got to the end of the street we all simultaneously flipped her a bird back.

She yelled up her heads in surrender. "Geez not my fault you all still suck balls compared to me."

"You knew!" Esme yelled to Steve.

"I tried to warn you! She threw a pillow at my face remember!" Steve yelled in return.

"Yeah I knew too and tried to warn you guys." Said Cher

"No you didn't." Said Brit with anger.

"Actually Britt she did." Athena answered with a smirk.

"Oh whatever." Said Brit throwing her hands up.

"So Steve how did you know? I mean we all know Cher and Kat stayed in touch after Cher left but you?" Asked Stace.

"Well I was never really apart of the group so she still spoke to me sometimes and we both in track together she practically beats me all the time she stopped hanging out with me though when she realized I was apart of the group now she said she didn't want to hurt me." Replied Steve.

"Wait but Kat I thought you stopped Track and all sport?" Asked Esme

"Actually no I made a deal with my coaches I still train with private lessons or different days then your practices... Steve was kinda like my private tutor." Said Kat.

"Wait so you still doing Soft ball and Soccer?" Asked Britt

"Yeah...just don't practice with you guys...but that is all changing I already contacted the coaches."

"Okay but the real question is...Will you join the girls Soccer team or are you coming back to us?" Asked Brian with a smirk.

"Like we gonna let you guys steal Kat again ...you had her most of middle school and freshmen year." Said Cher

"You guys would still have her for Softball." Said Dave.

The girls only cheerlead for guys games and Cheerleader competitions and then they do other sports aswell.

Athena does Track ,Soccer ,Karate and Softball.
Esme does Track and Softball. Cher does Soccer and Softball.
Britt does Track and Soccer.
Stace does Track and Softball.
Em does Softball and Soccer

All us guys do football and Soccer and Baseball together. But Steve ,Brian and I also do Track. Jack included.

Dave does Boxing with Brian.

Yeah we a sporty bunch.

I think I missed a whole conversation...because Everyone was arguing and yelling when I toned back in.

"I am actually still deciding which Soccer Team to join ,both coaches want me so its a battle." Said Kat with a shrug.

"But we your girls." Said Britt the same time Brian said "But we your boi's" They looked to each other with narrowed eyes.

And then another fight broke loose. Normally I would join but I have something on my mind.

If when Cher left ,Kat still spoke to her so would that mean Jack?

"Alright Delgado why you so quiet?" Asked Dave.

I want to ask her if she has spoken to Jack.

I mean they were dating for like 3 years ...ended it Sophomore year after the incident...of course they still talking I mean they probs still love each other.

"I found a Package." I stated randomly they all just stared at me. "It had pictures of uhhm the incident with a note. I have it here."

Everything seemed to be in slow motion. It was so quiet. We all didn't like talking about it.

"The mysterious incident I haven't heard any detail about...intriguing." Said Steve.

We all sent a glare his way to which he held up his hands in surrender.

"Show us." Said Esme.
Kat winced. And everyone besides Steve gulped.

We were now all currently sitting on Esme's living room floor. All of us too afraid to talk or move.

The package sits on the table.

The front door now opened and in came Esme's parents.

"Hello girls- wait this is everyone well accept Jack...you all finally friends again?" Said Mrs Henderson with a smile.

We all nodded. She then squealed consumed by joy.

"Cheryl dear we missed you here in town. Kat baby come give your mom a hug!" She exclaimed to which Kat ran and hugged Mrs. H and Mr.H.

"Scott ,Boys." Nodded Mr.H
"Wait whose that one." He pointed to Steve. With narrowed eyes.

"Jack's step brother." Replied Brian.

"Now the rest of you where are your manners!" Reprimanded Mrs.H

"Sorry Mrs.H" we all said. To which we got up and hugged both Mrs. And Mr.H.

"Well enjoy the sleepover guys...Daniel and I are going to bed." Said Mrs.H

They then walked upstairs.

"Alright let's do this shit." Said Steve.

"Steve notice how you the only one excited for this?" Asked Cher.

"Yeah?" Said Steve Question like.

"Well stop." Said Stace.

He nodded.

I showed them the pictures and let them all look at it.

"I think I am gonna be sick." Said Dave.

Steve nodded. "I am sorry for being so excited."

"God I hate reliving this." Said Em.

Everyone nodded.

"Here's the note. Who wants to read it?" I asked.

"Yeah no." Said Brit and Cher.

"Don't look at me." Said Brian.

Dave and Stace shook their heads vigorously.

"I will." Said Athena.
"You sure?" Asked Esme.

She nodded.
And started to read.
"I still remember every single detail... Do you? Don't worry one day we will relive that day just to prove to you all that there were some details you all missed. And when I say all I mean all.  - A "

"You don't think?" Em started asking.

"No ,no way...we fucking watched him die!" Replied Cher with tears in her eyes.

Cher and him used to have a thing...It was really hard on her.

"Yeah no its impossible." Said Stace.

We all had tears building up in our eyes.

"Okay can we just stop talking about this??" Asked Brian.

Everyone nodded. "No are you kidding me?! Some guy is coming up in here forcing us to relive this???" I said. "We gotta do something."

"Okay but what?" Asked Britt.
"Its not like we all superheros." Said Esme.

"Or Scooby and the gang." Said Britt.

Then we heard a crash upstairs. We all looked at each other and ran up there.

We found a rock on the floor with broken shards around it and a clear hole in the window.

And a package on the bed.

"Fuck." Said Dave.

Em stepped forward and opened it. It had a full group picture of the eleven of us...

It was Me ,Cher ,Stace ,Brian ,Dave, Jack ,Britt ,Em ,Vee ,Kat and Aiden.

It was a pic of the first day we all hung together kindergarten. Man it was such simpler times back then.

There was a tape in the box with a letter taped to it.

Good to see you all back together again...oh and a newbie. Why don't we go down memory lane shall we?...play the tape. -A

We all looked at each other then went to the basement to the old TV that can play VHR tapes.

It was a video of us playing before the picture was taken. Aiden's mom took the video.

We were playing tag.
Aiden was always the second fastest so Kat and him were never on.

"I am gonna getcha!" Jack yelled as he tagged Brian.

"Aw No Fair!" Whined Brian.

We all laughed and looked to Brian.

"Oh shut up fuckers." Responded Brian to which we all laughed even more.

Then Brian tagged Britt. "Brian always tags me!" whined Britt.

"Looks like you two were always after each other." Said Stace with a smirk.

"Shut up." They both said.

Then Britt tagged Esme. Esme immediately started chasing me and she literally tackled me. Like what the fuck?

We all looked to Esme with shocked expressions.

"Damn girl you showed him." Said Em.

She just shrugged in response.

I then tagged Dave to which Dave tagged Stace and Stace tagged Cher.

Cher then looked to where Aiden and Kat were just chilling on the jungle gym. Contemplating going for them but tagged Jack instead.

Jack risked going for them but they were way too fast and were already chilling on a different jungle gym by the time he gave up and tagged Brian again.

And so the cycle continued.
And the tape ended.

We stood there in silence.

"You and Aiden were always the fastest." Said Cher with a smile.

We all agreed.

Kat had a sad smile. "Yeah."

His death was also hard on Kat. They were really close and not just physically.

"Hey look at the bright side The highschool will finally get to see some awesome shit." Said Esme trying to lighten the mood.

We all laughed.
"Oh this is going to be fun." Said Britt and Brian the sane time with evil glints in their eyes.
