Prologue
Lost.
That's what we are.
Me and Cloudy, dying multiple times, yet we do not fear death for we had an ability. Had. We had the ability that resurrect us from death. An overworld ability called respawn. From world one to world two, there are always untimely deaths, but we didn't worry because we know we would be alright.
This time though, we might never respawn. Never again will I see the sky and the grass. THE Fear Shook inside of us. A fear that really hated death. A fear that wanted to get away from this situation, but we know that there is nothing we can do to get out of this.
Such a miserable fate. All because of a broken disk. The disk that held our life. The disk that gave us this exclusive power, but now that it has been shattered, our world's and lives have been torn apart, taking us to the void where we are frozen, slowly loosing memory of everything.
Atleast I have my closest friend. Though it is irony and science might begin blabbering at us about genetic things, Cloudy is my cousin. And she's a pink cat girl. I'm a brown-spotted yellow dog on my hind legs. Though it is hard to take in the facts, it is true. We've been together since the start of our existence. And now, we die together, knowing our owners where the reason we were at this state.
Her owner died, and my owner broke everything. The least they can do for us is to leave us with our most prized items. My... magic book and Cloudy's... pointy giant... knife...
Memories are slowly being... lost, and in due time we will... split apart into millions and millions of peices. What a painful... nap. To... not remember what you learned... I feel... not happy at our... creators.
Before my mind slipped away, all I can remember were the names... Timothy and Helen...

Their lives depended on me. Master walked through the crowd of battle hungry acolytes, clapping with his brown paws. Light of dusk gleamed, but no hope arrived. I feel... angry.
He gave me a devilish smile, and though a ray of light shone around us, master was nothing but a shadow. A living silhouette. His red eyes demonically stared at the crying bears right behind me.
"You served me well for a time, Marek." He stared at me with slight approval... but I 0feel like that's just for show, to motivate me to continue following his will...
"But, behind you in that frozen lump of ice is your most valuable treasure in this world." He pointed behind me."Kill them."
No... no. This wasn't part of the deal. I know it. It was me who set the conditions, and he complied with them. That traitor...
"This wasn't part of the deal!" I had to remind him. I'm unsure how this will go but... I need them alive. I have to keep them alive!
"I said I'll join your flanks and do all your dirty work just so you won't set foot in this place!"
"And you are to do your part of the deal for me to do mine!" His snide voice retorted.
"Now, if you want nothing more of your precious things to be destroyed, you are to follow my lead." He glared at me."Kill them."
I'm at a roadblock. A terrible place to be in. In front of me is one of the most dangerous criminals across hundreds of servers. And he tells me to kill... them. My family. For my loyalty I know he will cast aside. Troubling, but I have no other choice...
I stared at him in disbelief.
"No."
"No?" He repeated with that snide look on his face."You don't look sure."
"I'm certain... you monster."
"Well then," He smiled at me.
And before I knew it, I felt a sharp pain in my arm. Blood oozed out of it, but that was barely enough to stop me . Urgh! Stupid pain!
I felt my legs give up ad I focused on the wound in my arm. My one good arm dripped the sword to the side as I felt small corruption spread throughout my arm. Painful... but It won't be enough to stop me from protecting the last of my kind!
"Hm... honestly, for a polar bear of your kind, I'd expect more of a fight from you." He smiled and walked passed me, his sword in hand, headed for the innocents behind me.
Quickly moving, I took my sword and spun as I stood, hitting his han-- correction-- cutting his right hand in the process. Ha! Critical hit!
The soldiers, shocked to see what was happening, readied their weapons, awaiting their master's orders, who was on the ground, bleeding his arm out.
Behind all of them was a group of Polar bears hiding in the rubble of our former homes. Terrified, one of them stared at me, crying. She looked... hopeful... despite the situation. Wow, it feels like she would be someone I would...
No time. What I'm seeing is something meant to happen in a different world or time. I had to make a distraction for those people, and at the moment, my former comrades realized that their master was doing no such commands, so they approach. What timing!
Before one of them could land a blow, I quickly spun around and dealt around blow on his legs, letting him crumble in pain as I finish off his friends, like they did to me...
I dodged a sword to the face and evaded another, and this time skewered the two as they were vulnerable.
"Well done, Marek, you would be a great killer for my army!" I heard master shout."But will you be if your family's life is on the line?"
I turned around to see master with one arm as well as my cousin in front of him, sword almost touching her neck.
"I'd appreciate you killing them off for me. I do need better soldiers. It seems your loyalty is still to--"
"No." I answered. I won't hear it from him anymore.
Master stood there. Displeased with my answer.
"Very well then."
Before, the pain in my arm I could handle, but this pain... it was everywhere. And the. Orruption was slowly spreading. Worse, master wounded Her arm badly. I felt my mind shout in anger, but I felt too weak too weak to react.
I fell to the snowy ground where I faced the polar bears in hiding. They got past successfully. The one that looked at me was behind the group, smiling and crying as she stared at me. Then she silently walked away as I heard screams.
I failed them all.
