Ever since HapPy got hold of that blaze rod he found from fighting those witches, HapPy has been lately brewing stuff maniacally. Well, I shouldn't be surprised. He is... well, a brewing guy, and he remembers all brewing ingredients as well. HapPy held close to his potions he brewed and started 'experimenting' on mobs to see if they were effective or not. Well, I would say that's a total waste of glass, but I have to say, with the dog throwing healing stuff at us, I would say he's a lot more help than usual.
As usual, mornings were not that bad. There's just a little reason why it's not bad. As I opened my eyes from a long sleep, I saw a zombie head facing me. Oh. My. God.
"EEEK!" I screamed loudly. I mean, who wouldnt, right?
I stood up quickly when I heard someone scream in pain. I looked around but there was no one around me.
I was about to walk away and kick the head away when I realized that I'm stepping on something... fleshy. I looked down to see Marek screaming in pain, flailing his arms to get me off. Oops!
"Sorry!" I apologized loudly as I placed my paws away from his stomach and his right shoulder.
"What was that for?!" He said angrily to me as soon as he was able to stand up. I pointed at the zombie head lying on the floor."I woke up with that thing staring at me!" I explained to him shivering.
He looked at it in disgust."Yuck!" He said.
"See?" I told him. I looked at the head in disgust as well.
"Well, I guess the sorry is accepted." Marek said, sitting down. I remained standing up, because if I sat down, that head that should have dissapeared in a puff of smoke will en up staring at my tail. Just the thought of it made me quiver.
I looked at Rhelms, who was behind Marek, sleeping sounly."Good thing we weren't loud enough to wake him up." I sighed.
I stood next to the bark of a tree silently while Marek was trying not to fall asleep, cooking food in front of the campfire. For a long time, we were silent. I didn't bother about where HapPy wandered off. That dog is annoying. Pretty much if he's captured, he'll just annoy himself free.
Come to think about it, I hadn't heard from HapPy for a long time. I wonder what would he be doing now?
As I pondered a bit, waiting for the food to cook, I felt a light tap on my shoulder. It felt like someone was breathing on my back. I turned around to see..."Nothing." I said. Marek turned to my direction and asked,"What nothing?"
I stared at him for a few seconds, wondering."Did you see something behind me?" I asked. He shook his head.
"Strange..." My voice trailed off as I returned to thinking for a while. Honestly, I don't know what I was thinking of. I was just, well, thinking.
I stood there, looking at the tree next to me, until another tap poked me on my shoulder."Cat." It said. That's when I froze. No one was there.
I drew out my sword from my pocket and closely looked around."Who's there?" I asked the wind passing through me. Marek looked at me confused.
"Are you okay?" He asked me. I glowered at him. He shrugged."Oh well."
I kept a watchful eye around me. Something or someone is here. Just the thought of that made me wonder who or what I'm going to face.
"Hey Cat!" The voice called."It's me! I'm right behind--!" Behind! My brain told me. Using my quick reflexes, before the voice could finish his sentence, I spun around and did a roundhouse kick on it's belly. Maybe.
After I gave a swift kick to the invisible ghost, I heard a loud thump on the tree I stood on awhile ago.
To my surprise, some brown and yellow colors were appearing from the bark of a tree followed by an "Ouch."
"Wait-- HapPy?!" I exclaimed in horror. Ok, so I know that dog is somewhat annoying so I would hurt him a bit, but seriously?! I kicked him in his stomach-- hard!
"What on earth?" Marek said as he turned around to see HapPy, who was clutching his stomach, smiling.
"Good kick..." His voice trailed off as he fell on his knees, then slumped down on the ground, asleep. Ok...
I feel very bad now.
-------------------------
Rhelms was staring at HapPy's face, which had a red mark on it.
"Hm... I think you kicked him on his cheek." Rhelms said as he kept poking the red mark.
"Perhaps he was hungry?" Marek said when he stared at me. As for me, I felt kinda bad. KINDA. The feeling bad part was for knocking Haps out unconcious. The other was for payback for trying to mess me up. He has some explaining to do.
It took a while. He was sleeping, just like a puppy. I'm also a little bit scared. Not because of him, just the fact that his two dogs were growling next to me. And what's worse-- they were on both my sides.
After a few hours of waiting-- sunset, I saw HapPy's eyes slowly opening. His dogs noticed it and barked gleefully and began licking his face. Eeww...
"Haps? You okay?" I sat next to his laying body. Instead of saying,'I'm fine' or 'You're so dead to me,' HapPy sat straight up, drank and red potion, then picked up a blue one from his belt, then splashed it on my face.
*Splash!*
I felt nothing. He glared at me with a menacing smile."Ow!" I shouted at him. If this concoction kills every last one of my fur, he is gonna get another kick straight to the forehead.
HapPy stood up, greeted by Rhelms and Marek, while I tried to stand up, staring at my hand that's full of the blue liquid."What did you do to me?!" I asked angrily. HapPy laughed.
"That was just mudane potion." He said as he helped me up. He held out his hand for me to reach. I grabbed hold and stood up.
"What was that for?" I asked him. I may not be a brewing master myself, but I know mudane is useless for starters.
"Oh, that? That was just meant to scare you!" HapPy laughed. I grunted.
"And the invisible part?" I asked.
"That was from fighting a witch early morning." He said as I noticed the red mark on his face dissapeared.
"The witch mistook the potion of slowness to invicibility. That's why I turned invisible. I killed the witch and tried to look for something that could erase invisibility, but nothing. So I waited." He said and he popped out a brewing stand with dull potions on it. He then placed some netherwart inside.
"Soon enough, you woke up, followed by Marek. I knee you would think I was missing, so I decided to let you know as soon as you finished your conversation. But fighting the witch made me sleepy, so I took a small nap and when I woke up, I tried to tell Cat." He said as he's glared and me."Until I got kicked by Cat." I felt goosebumps on my back. Weird.
"You should be 'HapPy'." Haps told me.
"Why?"
"I was suppose to command Harpy and Happy to bite you for a few moments, but I felt kind enough to just scare you." I gulped.
"Uh... thanks..."
Then his voice sounded weird.
...
I felt like the world around us vanish to the void. It was just the two of us.
"I wouldn't advise hurting someone with the same blood as you."
...
HapPy's face was covered in shadow. I couldn't see anything but a bright red glow on his face.
He turned to me, smiling in a menacing way along with his red eyes, staring straight onto me.
"You wouldn't want to see your own family spilling precious blood, would you?"
I stared at him for a full two seconds before realizing that this isn't HapPy.
I felt uneasy everywhere. Is this really HapPy? I don't know . I've never seen him like this. No by knew about this. If someone did, I would have been the first one to know. He started giggling as he . Yep. We really are inheriting stuff from our owners.
"Whoopsy! Wolf here just got a little bit grumpy. My bad." HapPy laughed as I still tried to recover from his 'Break my neck' thing. Rhelms and Marek stared at him confused.
After a few moments, when HapPy's potions were finished, Harpy let out a growl from the bushes that lead to the dark. I held out my sword ready and Marek held his sword in front of him. HapPy noticed us and held a potion that looks like a harming one, and Rhelms held on to an axe, because that was the closest thing he could grab hold on to.
We waited for our in tuner to come close. Crunching dirt sounds became louder. Rattling bones came in closer. Mobs.
"Zombies." Marek said, preparing to dash forward when HapPy interrupted.
"They are not ordinary mobs, guys. Look." HapPy pointed at a zombie. It's eyes were red and it had a name tag.
"Maddan's mob henchmen." Rhelms and Marek said in chorus. Um... this is bad. If these mobs are controlled by this, Maddan, then that means we were found. Great.
