Chapter 14
Truth Be Told
--Cat POV--
As soon as I left HapPy with that goat, I heard some dragging of some sorts on the grassy ground. Hm... hopefully it's not what I thought I heard. By that I mean the house blowing up into a thousand minecraft chunks. But anyways, if there was any damage, HapPy created this house, so I suppose he can fix any of the damage done, right? So ignored that thought and continued on to my mission when I heard clashing from behind the house. By the river.
I ran to the area of the river when I saw another house across the river. Wait-- that's part of our house! I guess HapPy really meant it when he said 'bigger'.
I was about to check stroll in the plains (Because why not) when I saw a white figure with two other figures. A yellowish one and a black one. Marek.
I needed to help them but I can't, like seriously, I can try to leap over the river and be perfectly fine, if it weren't for the fact it's 5 blocks deep and ten blocks wide. How did the three of them get there?
I kept on looking for any possible solution. There was none. Well, there was but it includes...
I sighed. Minecraft really wants me to have a hard time, huh? Oh well. I took a deep breath and jumped into the water and started swimming through the river. Man, it's so cold! As soon as I got through, I saw Marek, laughing devilishly as he blocked the other two's blows. Well, they aren't friends, as I thought. Oh well. Marek looked like he was struggling a bit, but he can do just fine... for a few minutes at least. I didn't really want to join in, because this looked like some friendship battle, but I'm not gonna cower under the river and watch them fight! It's freezing cold! And I'm pretty much a lot braver than HapPy, wich makes be a better choice. Plus, this is our house! We have the upper hand-- err paw.
"Who's with you, Marek?" I asked as I turned to face the three figures. One of them was Marek (obviously), and a fish, and a fox.
"Hm... Gentlemen?" I called their attention. The three stopped fighting and turned to me."Is there something I can help you out, you three?"
"A girl!"
"What's that thing doing here?"
I glared at them as I pulled out my sword."What, you're underestimating women, now?" I asked."Well, you two are about to change your minds about the thought." I turned to Marek."What must be done to these foul visitors?"
Marek turned to me and replied in an angry tone."These trash heads are demanding me seven peices of paper!" He said as he turned back to the two, who were holding a sword.
I held my sword tightly and gave one to Marek."Papers, huh? Well, we got 'em and we ain't giving it to a fish who can breath on land, nor the ugliest fox in the world." I replied as I did a fencing position. Marek gave me a confused look."Wait, we have it?" He asked. I nodded as I faced my two enemies, who were glaring at us."I'll explain later. For now, I'm gonna make a good fish fillet with this guy!" I said as I dashed forward the fish, who was in a defensive position.
"You know what they say, fight fire with fire. But on this case, it's bear to bear!" Marek said as he blocked an attack on his torso.
The fish kept dodging me.
I kept slashing the sword again and again.
Left, right, left, right. Well, I guess I was predictable, so I did a move he didn't expect. As he sidestepped to the left, I quickly spun to the right and kicked him behind his legs. Instead of falling back, he did a cartwheel to prevent him from falling. Wow. For a fish that was very acrobatic.
I ran after him, and this time, he was going offensive. He swayed his sword to the right. I backed off quickly as I moved my sword forward, heading for his neck. He quickly ducked, in which I countered by kicking him in the face. He fell back, down to the rapid river, until he fell down to the waterfall."Just the natural habitat of a fish." I chuckled to myself.
Marek was blocking off all attacks of the panda. This one was quick, and he managed ro grab hold of Marek's sword. Now the polar bear defensless, the animal that you'd least expect to harm you, well, was about to harm him.
"This is your end, Marek!" He said happily as he raised the sword up. I need to do something- quick! I told myself. I reacted quickly and blocked the incoming blow with my sword. This guy's also tough!
The sword was slowly going down and I'm losing strengh. I was about to kick him to try and stop him when the fox's sword felt light and I was able to move it away. I also noticed that the fox was on the floor, limp. I looked closer when I saw an arrow through the area around the heart. Yuck!
I saw from the distance HapPy with a bow aimed at me. I looked at the bow. No arrows. I guess he fired it at my opponent.
"You know, we should do this more often!" HapPy said as he lowered the bow."It increases my archery skills!"
I sighed. Happy and Harpy ran for me. I was expecting the 'are you okay?' expression from them when they stopped right in front of the corpse. They growled at it and started scratching and barking at it until it dissapeared to are puff of smoke.
"Geez! What's gotten into them?" I turned to HapPy, who was now next to the dogs."Um.... Let's just say I didn't allow them to have fun with him a while ago, so they must've been kinda grumpy about it. Don't ask the story." He said, scratching his head.
I was about to annoy him by asking how, when I felt a presence behind me. It was Marek.
"What were the papers about and what was the map?" Marek asked me with a serious expression on his face.
I sighed."I have to be honest, I have no idea about the papers being a map... but--"
"I do." HapPy cut me off."Goatee told me about it." He said as he motioned for us to follow him.
HapPy was serious. I doubt he had any jokes to say at this moment anyway. Well, he always has, but, now isn't the time. I don't think I'll like what I'll find out.
