Blue Steve sits down by a calm, peaceful pond, too lost in his thought to notice anything. Since Rainbow Steve got destroyed and Blue Steve lost his connection with him, Blue Steve has felt... lost...

He looks down at the pond, biting his bottom lip to try to keep himself from thinking about where Rainbow Steve could be now. He's obviously in the Spirit Realm, Blue Steve knew that, but he didn't know where. Tears threatened to flow free from Blue Steve's eyes, but he fights them off.

His mind just continues to wander back to Rainbow Steve, not at Blue Steve's will, soon practically driving Blue Steve crazy. He gets up, breaking out into a jog in the direction he feels pulled towards. He doesn't know why, but something was just telling him to go that way.

Rainbow Steve and his friends walk around, smiling and laughing at one another's jokes. Then they start to talk about some of their adventures from their past lives, Purple Steve starting off.

Rainbow Steve is too lost in his thought to hear what anyone is saying though. Since he got his memories back, all he's been able to think about is Blue Steve. His best friend, his amigo, his good-ol'-buddy-ol'-pal. "He has to be here, right..?" Rainbow Steve thinks to himself, sighing.

Then, not so good thoughts enter Rainbow Steve's mind, making him even more worried. "What if because I absorbed Blue Steve, he didn't come here? What if I never see him again? What if I never see him again? What if he isn't here at all?" Rainbow Steve continues to fire off those kinds of thoughts in his head.

"Rainbow Steve? Are you listening to Purple Steve?" Yellow Steve, whom used to be Nightmare Steve, asks Rainbow Steve.

"S-sorry, I'm still getting used to not having as much alone time since Sabre would go offline to his world he lives in," Rainbow Steve says as apologetically as he can. The others nod, continuing the conversation.

"As I was saying, I wasn't always in the normal 'Overworld', I was originally from Galaxy Steve's dimension," Purple Steve says with a smile. The rainbow colored Steve gets lost in his own thoughts again, continuing to think back on Blue Steve.

Blue Steve continues to run in the one direction, the feeling that was telling him to go that way getting slightly stronger.

He runs as fast as he can, his lungs burning and his legs aching for a break. He keeps running though, not giving up. Soon Blue Steve feels like he's going to collapse from exhaustion, but that still doesn't stop him.

Eventually he sees someone in the distance, making his heart flutter. It could be Rainbow Steve! the Steve in blue thinks to himself, somehow making him run even faster.

As he gets closer, another Steve comes into his view as well, and more and more continue to be seen as well. Finally, Blue Steve sees the Steve he's missed for oh-so-long. His best friend that he could never get enough of, Rainbow Steve.

Rainbow Steve and Blue Steve lock eyes, and the rainbow one smiles brightly. Rainbow Steve breaks out into a run as well, abandoning his friends, heading straight towards Blue Steve. The blue one can't help it, he grins like an idiot as the two of them get closer, and then the grin only widens. He holds his arms out, Rainbow Steve doing the same; and then they jump into one another's arms.

They hug each other tightly, both scared that if they let go then it'd all just be a sick nightmare and they'd never see each other again.

Blue Steve is glad Rainbow Steve finally remembered their friendship; it honestly hurt Blue Steve a lot when he didn't. The word friendship tugged at Blue Steve's heart, but he ignored it as he finally holds his best friend in his arms again.

"Blue Steve!" Rainbow Steve beamed through tears of joy, smiling as brightly as possible. "I missed you so much! he beams, holding Blue Steve close to him.

Blue Steve chuckles, holding Rainbow Steve as close as possible. He finally has his best friend back; his reason to keep going. The reason he didn't give up after he lost his powers; and overall his will to keep going. Blue Steve finally has Rainbow Steve back in his arms.

If Rainbow Steve missed Blue Steve this much, imagine how Blue Steve feels...

"I thought you forgot about me," Rainbow Steve mutters quietly, hugging Blue Steve tighter. "I thought that even if you did remember me, you'd be going about your own life... I got scared that you weren't even here at all..."

For a moment, Blue Steve is shocked, but decided to use humor to make them both feel a little better. "Are you kidding? It takes a lot to get rid of me," he then chuckles, holding Rainbow Steve as close as possible, as tight as he can. Without hurting him, of course.

A slight, pastel pink dusts across Rainbow Steve's face from how close they are, but dismisses it since they haven't seen one another in forever.

"One thing we have in common then," Rainbow Steve says, giggling. Blue Steve nods, continuing to grin.

They pull away from the hug, both immediately wanting to jump back into one another's arms but refraining. Instead, Rainbow Steve taps Blue Steve's shoulder. They make eye contact for a brief moment, mischievousness in Rainbow Steve's colorful eyes. He turns around and runs before Blue Steve can react, and Rainbow Steve has to fight back the urge to cackle from how he imagines Blue Steve's reaction.

For a moment, Blue Steve's mouth hangs agape, confused on what just happened. When he processes it, he chuckles. "That's not fair, you got a head start!" Blue Steve shouts as he chases after Rainbow Steve, laughing. Purple Steve watches the entire thing, snickering. He turns to Yellow Steve, whom was laughing (rightfully so, it was hilarious).

"They'd be a good couple, don't you think?" Purple Steve asks him, giggling.
