"Oh, I was inviting Ichihara-kun to lunch with us." I said.

Honesty was the best approach in times like these.

       "Hehe, he seemed a bit lonely, so-"

"Don't do that!" Jun shouted all of a sudden.

The whole class stopped to look at us curiously,
and his face reddened.

"Anyways, 

don't get so close to that guy."

He said--lowering his volume a bit this time.

"Why not?" I asked.

"What? Didn't you see the way he acted before?
It's not good to keep company like him."

Jun argued.

"Besides..."

He crossed his arms and muttered under his breath.

                                                 "...what's so good about a guy like that?"

"But Jun-kun..." 

I tried to plead my case;

however, 

he wasn't having any of it.

"Just listen to me!" 

He got up close and continued to berate me--
his loud voice ringing in my ears due to the proximity.

I squeezed an eye shut in an effort to endure it.
                    

                         Why is he so angry about this anyways?
