Then there was kind and cool Kame
who has recently become the talk of the village.

Over the past few years,
he had transformed into an extraordinarily handsome boy.
Tall, athletic, smart, mature--
with light brown hair, and warm eyes.

There wasn't a single girl in the village who didn't know his name.
He had a way with people--that easily won over the hearts of both his male and female peers.
And even though he was popular,
Kame never let the attention get to his head,
instead choosing to remain humble and polite.

His presence alone gave people hopes and aspirations

to be like him--  to be perfect.

It was kind of the same situation in the past too...
So I suppose he hasn't changed much in that respect.

As for me, well...
I don't believe I have changed.
Although I've gotten a bit taller,
I still managed to keep my title as the "shortest in the group."

Sigh.
