Xena bounced out of Bed.

It was officially Xena Lee's thirteenth birthday! She was finally a teenager!

Suddenly her sister, Ava burst into the room.

'Xennie, Mummys making a surprise for your birthday and its waffles and she told told me not to tell you!!!' Ava said as fast as she could, then realising her mistake she ran out and slammed the door behind her!

Xena got dressed in the blue and grey uniform of St. Luna High school and hurried downstairs to enjoy her favourite meal of waffles and vanilla ice cream with butterscotch sauce and open all her presents!

As Xena ate her waffles she thought about what would happen at school today. Xena was unfortunate enough to share a birthday with the meanest and most popular girl in Year Eight, Skye Summers. every year on Xena and Skye's birthday everyone would overload Skye with presents, cakes, balloons and cards, and every year without fail Skye would smile horribly at her and say in a sickly-sweet voice:

'Its such a shame that everyone forgot your Birthday!'

Xena finished off her waffles, dreading seeing Skye today.
