Hello everyone, okami here.

For those of you who don't know, this is a rewrite from my previous book "From The Ashes." I decided to rewrite this because I was unhappy with how the story was coming along.

Anyway, in this small section before the story starts, I want to list changes from the original. I did say some changes, but I did a bit more thinking and decided on these changes.

1. I want to keep the story canon to how it is with some small minor changes here and there. What this means is, Sakura and Sasuke will be together, so apologies for all y'all who enjoyed the romance in the last one.

2. The ages would be weirder for the Akame ga kill cast to be in their twenties when most of them are supposed to be in their teens. So to make this work, the reader/Y/N will be older by a year than Akame. So by the time Y/N returns, he's eighteen while Akame is seventeen, which is roughly what her age is while Kurome is roughly around fifteen.

3. Is the love interest. The love interest is Cornelia, who belongs in Akame ga Kill Zero, which is the prequel of the main storyline of Akame ga Kill. Cornelia is roughly about one or two years older than Akame at the time, who was roughly fifteen to sixteen in Zero. So, this sorta makes sense as Cornelia will be brought back as a revenant before she is restored as a human.

4. Now the main source of power in Shippuden was Niichirin, Y/N's demon. The abilities are from Seraph of the End (Owari no Seraph) and she will still be coming, but it might happen earlier on in the story. Not unless I want it to remain the same, but I will most likely show how Y/N obtains her.

There may be some changes listed down the line and I'll tell you more in later chapters, but right now, I don't want to waste too much of your time reading this. Updates might be slow, as I'm focusing on other stories and combat scenes aren't the specialty I can do the best on. But in any case, I do hope y'all enjoy this rewrite of the original first fanfiction I had first posted on this site. Those of you who read the first one, thank you for sticking with me on that journey and if you come here, thanks for sticking by with this one, but that's if you choose to do so. And once again, I apologize for cancelling the original book.
