"Why don't we have a bet instead of fighting?" The leader suggested and I stood straight looking disappointed.

"Oh I get it; you're scared that you'll lose against me, aren't you?" I smirked at him but he laughed. "What's so funny?" I stopped smirking and looked confused.

"I never thought you would be this amusing." He spoke after laughing.

"You seem cocky, got any words to back it up?" I said with confidence.

"Indeed." Suddenly, his aura filled this warehouse. I took a step back and smiled in excitement. After a few seconds, his aura was gone. "You took that well, meaning that you're very strong." He complimented.

"Thank you." I thanked him.

"Why don't you join us? That way we don't have to do the bet." The pink-haired girl suggested.

"No thanks, I rather do the bet than give my freedom to some stranger. So, what's the bet?" I asked.

"Danchou, meh do this..." The short, emo guy said to the leader of their group. What language is he speaking???

"Very well." He replied. "If you win, then you are free to go but if you lose-" I cut him off.

"Then I have to join your stupid group without further ado, I know..." Boredom was in my tone when I said it.

"The first person to reach to the other side of the village's wall and back here, wins." He pointed behind him. "And your opponent is Feitan." So the shorty is Feitan, huh.

"That seems simple enough." I mumbled and it was loud enough for them to hear.

"Ready, set, go." He announced and the race started. Damn, we just started and he's already this far ahead of me. At this rate, I'm going to lose! Hell nah! I cast a spell to enhance my legs, making it a lot faster. In no time at all, I surpassed him. I stick my tongue at him along the way but when I was near at the finishing line, HE SOMEHOW SURPASSED ME WHILE GIVING ME THAT STUPID LOOK!! HOW?! That's highly impossible unless...He wasn't all out in the first place! That sneaky bastard! I gritted my teeth in my defeat then sighed when I've reached the finishing line right before.

"I lost, meaning I'll join your group." The leader smiled looking satisfied. Suddenly, they started walking out of the warehouse and I followed. "So where are we heading to next?" I asked them.

"Base." The emo said with hardly any emotion.

"I never asked you, shorty." I muttered at him.

"You no say who..."

"What are you, a smarty pants or something?" I slightly hissed.

"No, but meh know you slow." He smirked. This guy is so dead once I get my hands around his next. I let out a killing vibe.

"Now, now, no attempts on killing each other." I glared at the happy-looking guy (Crystal: Aka, Shalnark).

"You don't boss me around." I spat at him.

"But that's the rule." He replied, unfazed by my glare.

"What rule?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Once you join the Phantom Troupe, you're not allowed to kill other members." The blonde with no eyebrow explained plainly.

"That's bullsh*t...But I guess if you don't want to lose the members so I guess it's okay with me. THough, is there any rule that said you can't beat a member to a pulp~?" I asked while smiling evilly.

"Hmmm, nope!" The blonde with eyebrows said smiling.

"Did you hear that, shorty? There's no rule that said I can't beat you to a pulp."

"If you catch meh~" Is he mocking me?! I let out a bit of my dangerous aura. Suddenly, another aura took over mine and the aura belongs to this so called, 'danchou' and judging by his aura, he's a little mad.

"Enough, Y/N." I sighed and did as I were told and everyone seemed surprised that the leader did that. Everyone was silent for a bit before I said anything.

"By the way, 'danchou', now that I've joined, I have the right to know everyone's name or else I'll have to give all of you nicknames and trust me, you probably won't like it, not that I give a damn." I whispered the last part basically to myself.

"Very well, I'm Chrollo, the female over there is Machi; the tallest blonde is Phinks; the other blonde is Shalnark and the one dressed in black is Feitan." He introduced.

"Oh I see and if you don't mind 'Chrollo', can I give two of the members nicknames?"

"Do whatever you see fit." Chrollo answered.

"Sweet, Feitan, you're shorty and Phinks, you're Mr. No Eyebrow." I smiled innocently while wagging my tail while Shorty was neutral and Mr. No Eyebrow was pissed. Shalnark chuckled while Machi looked amused.

"Danchou, I don't like this white fox." Phinks whispered.

"And I don't like the way you have no eyebrows, Mr. No Eyebrow. You wonder why? It's because you look unnatural, in fact, you make yourself look like a clown that quit the circus and then decided to join the 'Phantom Troupe'..." I insulted him and everyone else laughed, including the leader which is good news, cuz I thought I was getting yelled at again. Well, not everyone was enjoying my insult, Mr. No Eyebrow wasn't looking pleased.

"Shut up! Just because I have no eyebrows, doesn't mean you're superior than me." Mr. No Eyebrow barked like some dog while veins grew out from his head.

"You don't have to but I sure do." This is so amusing, who ever thought it was. I guess joining the Phantom Troupe wasn't so bad after all. The three people that have laughed soon stopped.

"Y/N." Oh no, don't tell me he's going to get angry at me again...

"Yes, danchou?" I asked.

"I have a question for you. What is your nen?" Chrollo asked.

"My nen?" I replied.

Sorry guys for the cliff-hanger! I just needed the chapter to end there cuz I have hardly any ideas what to write next. But don't worry, it won't talk long to think of some because my brain sure knows how to get ideas (I seriously love my brain XD). So please don't be mad if I somehow didn't update next week (which is highly unlikely but you never know, it might happen) and hope you enjoyed the book so far cuz I sure do love writing it!
