Like the description of the book said, there is going to be some cussing. As seen by this chapter. If you don't like that, then I must say this isn't the best book for you; and you might want to click off now. 

~Rainbow Steve's POV~

"Alright then. You're going to work with me to kill The Commander."

I step back, stuck in a state of complete confusion; as well as fear. "W-What..?" I ask, not able to even process the thought of having to kill someone. 

"Do I have to spell it out to you? You're. Going. To. Work. With. Me. To. Kill. The. Commander. Or else I'll just have to kill you now," the man says. 

I bite my bottom lip, looking around for some sort of escape. Eventually, I realize there is no getting out of this alive without doing as he says. "F-Fine..." I say, giving in completely. 

"Good," they grin, rubbing their hands together. I fiddle with the bracelet on my wrist, the same thing I always do when I'm nervous. "Come on, let's go. Now," he demands, and I nod slowly. 

"W-Wait, can you at least tell me your name?" I ask them, though following them. They turn around, glancing at me before looking forward again. "You'll find out soon enough," they say, continuing to walk.

"Are we almost there..?" I whine quietly, and whomever is the person who is forcing me to go with them, they ignore me. Then, I spot a building through the trees, seeming quite large for being along the beach. 

"This is it... stay quiet, and whatever you do; don't get us caught. Understand?" they say, and I slowly nod. Then, he sneakily starts walking over to the entrance. Not the sneakiest of assassins...  I think to myself, though following him. "Don't you think we should like, climb through the trees?" I ask, gesturing to where I can jump over to the trees. He simply nods, and then leaps from the ground to the tree. 

His hands quickly grab onto the tree branches, and he ends up pulling himself up. He turns around, facing me; and he gestures for me to follow him. I nod slowly, taking a deep breath. 

I'm going to die here, aren't I? I think to myself as I get enough courage to let my feet leave the ground, and I slowly reach forward to the tree. I grab onto it, and once I start to get a little more bravery; I let me feet leave the ground. Within seconds, I start to climb my way into the tree as well.

They hold their hand out for me to grab on to, though not seeming too happy about it. Then, he pulls me up; and then continues to climb through the trees. Why did I ever suggest this..? 

I follow behind him, though a lot further. I manage to get on the next tree, and even another one after that, and now there is only one left. "Come on, Rainbow Steve... You can do this..." I continue to give myself some self-encouragement, and leap to the last tree. I grip onto it tight, but my right hand didn't get on nearly as good. 

My fingers quickly slip from the branch my right hand was holding onto, leaving me being held up by only my left hand. Then, my fingers slowly start to slip from that one too. I glance down, seeing how high up I am; knowing that if I didn't die from the landing, I would definitely break something, as well as get arrested by the Templar Guards. 

The last of my grip loosens, and I expect to plummet down.

But I don't.

I look up, seeing the man grabbing onto my wrist tightly, keeping me from falling. "Damn it, be more careful. You're going to get yourself killed, and next time I might just say fuck it and let you," their voice is gruff, though also has a bit of kindness being pushed to the back. I know it. Nobody can be that mean, right? 

They help pull me up, and then once I get my footing right; they're still holding on to me. My face heats up slightly, not noticeable, and I just ignore the feeling. 

They launch themself forward, gripping onto the building tight and then pulling themself the rest of the way up. I shakily follow behind them, starting to regret coming here more and more. Great move, Rainbow Steve... 

Then, after some more climbing; we finally reach the roof. There is a skylight, so the man in green looks through it while I just stay back; not wanting to get in the way. "Where is the Commander.. Wait, there he is!" he whispers to himself. I get up, heading towards him. 

"Now, where'd he go..." they say, looking around. Then, they almost fall backwards, onto me since I was right behind them. "There he is... Now, on the count of three, me and you are both going to jump down. Got it?" he asks me, and I nod hesitantly. I'm really going to do this, aren't I..? 

"Three.. two... one.. now."

We both jump down, me at the side of him. "Well, well, well; look what we got here. An assassin, with some pitiful excuse for a hostage?" the Commander says with a grin. A scar runs across the right half of his face, making me wince from the sight. 

"Damn it Sabre..." the assassin whom is making me work for them says quietly, as if to themself. "We're going to take you down; right here and right now," the man, who I presume is Sabre, says to The Commander.

"It's two versus one!" I respond back, making The Commander just simply roll their eyes at me. 

"If you weren't as blind as a bat, you would've seen my trusted guards standing right behind you," The Commander says with a grin. Then, the man who is forcing me to do this quickly turns around; his hazelnut brown hair swooshing along with him.  I turn around as well; just to see two guards standing there with spears pointed towards us. 

I inhale sharply, biting my bottom lip. Sabre turns back around, clearly glaring at The Commander; though I can't see it. 

"I don't care if you have a million guards behind me with any weapon behind my back; I'm going to kill you. I'm going to avenge my father..." they say, and The Commander just groans. They pull a knife out, holding it tight. 

"So sweet," the Commander says, rolling his eyes and sending a dagger-like glare to us both. "Now, guards, just end them already," he says, and next thing I know; everything goes black.
