~Colleen's POV~

Things have been chaotic without Sabre. We have absolutely no idea where he went; all we know is that the new guy, Rainbow Steve, ran away to go find somebody that hurt his brother. I've been making sure that nobody killed one another, somewhat becoming the leader for the time being. Hurry up and come back soon, Sabre. We need you... I think silently to myself.

~Rainbow Steve's POV~

We've been on the boat for a few days now, and my skin is burning up. The sun is clearly taking a toll on me, as well as Sabre. He's asleep right now, this being one of our few reliefs from the sun.

I sigh, just watching the horizon and waiting for some sort of island so we can finally get off this boat and hide from the sun.

Many more hours have passed, and Sabre has woken up. I'm about to head to bed, that way there I can get my skin to not feel like it's on fire. Then, I notice it.

Land up ahead. "Sabre, look!" I explain the loudest I can, my throat dry due to how long it's been without as much water I've needed. We've purified some water so it was drinkable, but not enough for us to survive.

He looks up, smiling brightly. "Finally, we can rest up and then hopefully find who killed my brother," I say, and Sabre just wraps his arm around me.

"We're gonna fine them, don't worry. We'll get revenge on them, too. Then we'll go home, and we can meet back up with the creed," Sabre reassures. I can't help but melt into his touch, leaning against him. It's just cause you're wore out, I tell myself, but I can't help but feel content with being pressed against him.

I close my eyes, ending up falling asleep and letting the boat rock me to shore as I stay pressed against Sabre.

~Sabre's POV~

I just smile, holding Rainbow Steve close. I still like him, obviously, so I can't help but feel responsible for keeping him safe. It doesn't take too long for us to finally reach shore, so I simply just gently shake Rainbow Steve, hating to wake him but knowing it'll be for the better. "Come on, Rainbow, we need to get out of this sun and get some proper food," I murmur, and he groans.

"I don't wanna get up," he whines.

"We can go back to sleep afterwards," I reason. He ends up sitting up, clinging to my assassins robe.

"Carry me," he pouts. I sigh, picking him up and carrying him away from the boat and towards a building. I find one, it seeming pretty abandoned. Then, I crawl in through the window, holding Rainbow close to me. There's only one bed, and I just sigh.

I lay Rainbow down on it, though he continues to cling to me. "Sleep with me," he whines, and I can't help but blush a bit.

"Alright, bud. Sweet dreams," I murmur, messing with his hair before crawling in the bed next to him. He simply curls up into my chest, and I smile.

It doesn't take me long to fall asleep again, my body exhausted from all of the exposure to sun after very little each day since I was a kid.

Hey anybody got any ideas for an actual title of this book?-
I still have no idea and it looks ew just being called "(Assassins Creed and Steve Saga Crossover)"
