"Hello! What can I help you two with today?" She asked sweetly
"We both want to be reincarnated."
"Let me guess....you want to meet up and be together again?" she asked
"Yeah..." I blushed lightly

"Alright. I got you two signed in. Alexander here used to come here all the time to make sure you two were already in the computer so you could be together"

I blushed, Alexander rolling his eyes.

Another woman came out and lead us to a room. We sat down and she got on the computer. She typed so lot..

"So names." She finally spoke
"Yeah.."
"You two died pretty young. You weren't well known either. It's possible you can keep your current names. Or if you don't want to do that you can use Anthony Ramos and Lin Manuel Miranda"

Huh. Reminds me of some musical...

"I want the same name" I spoke up
"Me too" Alex agreed

She cleared up some stuff on her computer "just making you less known"

"Alright go down two doors" she said

Holding Alex's hand, I went two doors down like she said.

A man sitting in a chair turned to look at us as we entered the room

"Looks." He said bringing up two men on screen. It was the guys from my dream! Ones tall with blonde hair and the other has curly orange hair and freckles. Of course I get curly hair and freckles again, and I get to be short. I thought I was getting something different....

"Are these okay? There's not much else I can bring up" the man explained
"Yup."
"Give these to the woman outside the portal room."

After getting lost, getting chips from the vending machine, and using the bathroom, we finally found the portal room.

"Papers?" She asked. Alex handed her the papers. She began to read them.

"You'll be meeting when John is 17 and your 16" the woman told Alex and turned to walk down the rows of portals "come."

She stopped at a red portal "Alexander through here." She pointed at a yellow one connected to it "John here"

Alexander stopped in front of his portal and I stopped in front of mine. We stared at each other before I ran over and hugged him. He hugged back and kissed my forehead.

I kissed him softly but he pulled away.

"I'll see you before you know it" Alex smiled, tears streaming down his face
"Promise?"
"Promise. John Laurens you're worth more than 1,000,000 diamonds"

And like that I stood back at my portals ready for....I don't exactly know..

I have to be with Alex..

"When you're ready" the woman said, monitoring the portals

Alex began to count "one...two......."

"Three"

John Laurens got put into a nice family that excepted him for being gay. He was never as self conscious or anxious.

Alexander had a book published by 12 and was writing for the newspaper, now 15.....but wait-

He's almost 16..
