Ready To Comply

"You will take us to the helicarrier and kill any Russians. Take one with us alive. Once we are on the helicarrier, you will bring me and the other Russian to a strong holding cell." I needed to be strict and specific. I climbed onto his back and he broke out of the room. I shot four more men and he kicked another man against the wall and flipped him to me as I handcuffed him and held onto him as Winter kept walking. He killed six more men before stealing a jet to get to the SHIELD Aircraft. "If you see a HYDRA jet, let it land. It has me, the Soldier, and a doctor of some sorts in it. DO NOT FIRE." I said into my earpiece over the loud wind.

We safely landed on the Aircraft and I directed Winter to the holding cell made for him, handcuffed and  shackled him, and locked the door behind me. I made sure to take him weapons, but I decided to leave his arm.

I brought the other man to an additional holding cell. I handcuffed him, but I didn't shackle him. He was already knocked out, unarmed, and rather scrawny. I went to Fury's office and told him the mission report. "19 others were killed, I apprehended the Supersoldier book, captured a HYDRA doctor, saved all of my weapons except for bullets."

"Good work. I will have you over The Soldier while we have him. As I can understand, he is no longer on a mission to kill our Cap, but it still might not be best for The Soldier to see anyone but you. Which holding cell did you put him in?" "Holding  cell 204. Right by my sleeping quarters." "Good. You are dismissed. Follow any of his... reasonable requests." Fury replied.

I went back to his cell to give him a granola bar. Because we haven't had him for very long, I won't have clearance to give him a full meal until Thursday. Today is Tuesday. I sat the bar on the table, and walked in a half circle around him. The Soldier was leaning against the wall with his head down. It looked like he was asleep, though I could tell by how fast his chest rising and falling that he was awake. When I went over to his left side to examine his metal arm, he snapped up and tried to punch me.

I jumped out of the way and tossed the granola bar to him. He ate it in two bites and threw the wrapper back to me. There's a small trash can in the corner, but his wrists were in shackles connected to the wall. "Help me or get out." He growled. I rolled my eyes at him and walked right in front of him. From where he was sitting, he couldn't reach me but we could still have a civilized conversation. "What do you want?"

"I want to get out of here. You're gonna use me for the Soldier. You're gonna wipe my memory. I don't want to be the Soldier ever again. I don't want to lose my life due to purposeful memory loss." He replied. I never really thought that there was a real man with emotions under the scary assassin part of him. "I can't get you out of here, but I can assure you of one thing. We will NEVER, under any circumstances use the Soldier or wipe your memory. Can I get you anything?" I asked him.

"Get this arm off me. I don't want to see that dang star ever again."

"Unfortunately, that arm is helping to keep you chained to the wall, so I cannot remove it. However, I might have a solution. I could paint something over it if you would like." I offered. "Yes please. I don't care what. I just don't want to see that star." I walked out abruptly and went down to our misc room to get some white and blue paint. I was making my way back to his cell when I saw another agent covered in bruises and wounds. "Winter's out of control. Be careful. He broke out of his chains but can't get out of the room." He reported to me. I was furious. I was supposed to be the only person that tends to Winter. I have to gain his trust, and THEN introduce him to new people. "WHY THE HECK DID YOU GO IN THERE?! WHO TOLD YOU TO?! I KNOW THAT IT WOULDN'T BE FURY SO DON'T LIE TO ME!" I screamed before whispering under my breath, "Freaking idiots."

The agent, who I later learned is Agent Madden, told me that he was told to check on "The person in cell 204" by Captain Steve Rogers. I swung myself around Madden, and kicked off a wall to hit him to the ground. "You WILL NOT go into that cell unless you have permission from me AND Director Fury. You will NOT tell Rogers what happened. You WILL NOT tell him, or anyone else, who the prisoner is. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?" I yelled. He quickly nodded his head, and as soon as I got off him, he ran (as well as he could) to the MedFac (Medical Facility).

I picked up the paint buckets again and set off for cell 204. Once I arrived, I looked through the indestructible one-way mirror to see how he was doing. Winter was sitting right where he was when I left. The trashcan was broken and on its side, and it was obvious that he wasn't shackled to the wall anymore. I sighed, took a deep breath, and opened the door. "Don't try and make it out of this door. I will not hesitate to harm you. If you stay still I can paint over the star, but you can't try to kill or maim me. Affirmative?" He nodded and turned his metal arm towards me so that I could paint it.

After a half hour of meticulous painting, Winter now had an impressive white and blue snowflake on his arm. Before I was recruited by SHIELD, I went to an art and self-protection school. An odd pair, but I learned how to paint like Van Gough and how to kill like the infamous Black Widow. I looked into his eyes, only to find that he had fallen asleep. I left a note saying, "Don't touch the snowflake until I come back. It's still drying."

(Hi everyone! Sorry it's taken me so long to update! Middle school is overwhelming with homework so I only have limited time to work on my stories. Hope you like it! Comment and vote!)
