Wait, wut?

Teddy opened her eyes slowly. Three pair of eyes stared back at her and blinked.

"Oh, she's alive!" Kira giggled and clapped happily.

"Hey! You okay?!" Sapphire smiled down at her.

"Glad you survived, Teddy!" Araina grinned and gave her a thumbs up.

Frowning confused, Teddy sat up and looked around the room. It had the school's white walls, medicine cabinets, and a few beds. A swivel chair was at the corner along with a large desk full of files. "Is this the clinic?" She asked Araina.

"Yep! Sure is!" The blonde replied in a happy tone. "Everyone was worried so I came to check on you!"

Teddy blinked, even more confused. Her mind buzzed with thoughts, all random and disoriented. She couldn't recall what had happened to her before she woke up. But the flashes of white and green colors plagued her mind.

Doors swung open and she turned to see that Law had entered, along with Luffy and Marie. He had a small smirk on his lips as he saw her stare at him open-mouthed and puzzled.

"I see that you're finally up, Theodora-ya." Law chuckled.

Teddy sat up and rubbed the back of her head, wincing a bit from the throbbing pain. "What happened? Why am I here?" She asked him.

"Straw Hat-ya heard someone yell 'meat' and thought it would be a good idea to push us off a cliff," Law scoffed and shot a glare at Luffy. The rubber boy chuckled and gave a meek apology.

"A-Anyways, you should come to the class. The House Captains are discussing about us going out." Marie softly spoke up.

Her voice was barely audible but Teddy didn't mind at all. She got up and followed everyone out. She waved goodbye to Kira and Marie, before heading inside the noisy classroom of the Red Hair House.

"Law, Sapphire! I see you've retrieved our precious new student!" Shanks smiled happily and motioned for everyone to take their seats.

As the murmurings and laughter had died down, Shanks clapped his hands together sharply, drawing everybody's attention. Instantly all students sat upright and proper, all eyes facing towards their House Captain.

"Listen up! Today, as you are all aware, is Thursday?" He began slowly. Everyone nodded, wide grins on their faces. "And I'm sure you all know what happens on Friday on the first week of school~"

Teddy sunk down her seat as the students in the room erupted in loud cheers. Everyone began running around, jumping on top of their tables, and screaming like they just won the lottery. Leo glanced at her, giggling at the scared look on her face.

"Not to worry, Teddy," She said. "Everyone is just excited to go out for shopping of school supplies."

"Why would anyone find that exciting?!" She frowned.

Leo smiled and said nothing about it, telling her that she will understand on tomorrow's outing.

After the announcement the students were all free to go since classes would still start the next week. Teddy started to stand and leave for her dorm, but was yanked back by a pale hand.

She screamed but then immediately realized that the hand didn't belong to a man. A friendly face peered over her shoulder and laughed.

"You get scared easily, huh?"

The girl was familiar to her, but she couldn't pin point where they had seen each other. Blinking blue eyes watched as Teddy subconsciously squinted to try and remember.

"I don't think we've officially introduced yet," The girl said, holding out a hand, "Name's Sapphire! Nice to meet you!"

Though reluctant at first, Teddy saw her as one of the less crazy students, so she took her hand and gave it a shake, smiling shyly, "Kumagai Theodora... Call me Teddy..."

Sapphire squealed and clapped her hands. "What an adorable nickname! I just know we'll be great friends!" She chimed.

"Um, yeah, sure." She laughed nervously at the girl's enthusiasm.

After waving goodbye to Sapphire, she turned to leave, but was yanked back again by her. "Wait! Where are you going?!" She asked.

Teddy pointed at the door and raised an eyebrow at her.

"Leaving? No way! You have to check out the clubs first!" She said as she began to drag her away by the shoulder. "It isn't exactly a requirement but it might be fun! You'll love it!"

"I just escaped from a crazy detention ordeal thingy that was spent on five chapters! Leave me alone!" Teddy whined and flailed her arms. But Sapphire already dragged her to the school courtyard where several booths stood in a line.

Deciding to give up for now, she walked around and scanned the booths for anything that caught her interest.

Literature club

Medical club

Cooking club

Fight club

Game club

She stopped at the last one and stared, "Game club?!"

Sapphire walked up next to her after chatting with one of the members of the Fighting club and decided to explain. "The Game club is basically just full of games. From your childish ones like tag and hide-and-seek to more complex games like sudoku or chess. They even have this thing called 'Video Game Fridays'!"

Teddy's eyes began to sparkle instantly at the sound of it all. "Sign. Me. Up!" She grabbed the pen and scribbled her name down. Sapphire smiled at her mood change.

"Damn," Someone spoke from beside her. "And I sure thought she was gonna choose our club..."

Teddy looked at her and smiled, "Well, what is your club?"

The girl smirked and pointed at the poster. It was the poster of the Fight club! Teddy began to stammer and think of an excuse, but the girl just laughed it off. "Hey, don't even worry about it!" She said. "No one's gonna beat you up just because you didn't join!"

The green haired girl sighed in relief. "My name is Kira," The girl grabbed her hand and gave it a vigorous shake. "Nice to meet you, Teddy!"

"E-EH?! HOW DID YOU KNOW MY NAME?!" Teddy shrieked in response. "ARE YOU A PSYCHIC?!"

Kira laughed at her outburst and nodded, wanting to mess with her a bit. "Yes!" She exclaimed, before suddenly quieting down and whispering to her, "By the way, there's a malevolent spirit hiding in your closet..."

Teddy freaked out and ran away while the two girls burst out laughing.
