"Alright, where am I now?" Mika sighed and stopped walking.

She had thought that following the river would lead her to the exit but it turns out that it wasn't as easy as she had hoped.

A short figure popped out from behind a tree and sighed in relief upon seeing her. "Rune-san, I'm so glad I didn't bump into anyone scary...!"

"Oh, it's you Lauzen." Mika recognized the girl she was with in the detention room earlier. She was small and always apologizing, even though she was never at fault.

Basically, she was the perfect bullying type. Which is why Mika had to keep a guard on her from Kid, one of the biggest bullies in the university.

"Well, well. Lauzen Marie and Rune Mika." Another figure appeared from the trees with a grin, an aluminum bat balanced on her shoulder. It was Kane Domino.

"Kane," Mika sighed. At least it was no one crazy or a guardian.

"So I guess we ended up having the Ordeal of Spheres?" Domino said while looking around. The white balls floated around like pollen from a wind-blown flower. She smiled, "Well I guess we're lucky then!"

Marie frowned, her eyes began to water, "How is this lucky?!"

Mika just stayed silent. Domino glanced at them and smirked, "Well this ordeal is the easiest out of all four. The one with the highest chance of survival."

Just then the ground shook and all three girls struggled to keep their balance. Birds cawed and flew away as a loud BOOM! sounded somewhere nearby. After a few seconds, the quake stopped.

"What was that?!" Marie cried.

Domino hummed and thought for a bit, before starting off towards a random direction. The two other girls looked at each other, before hurriedly following after her.

Angry yelling could be heard just a few meters away, followed by a loud crash and a scream. Kid, Luffy, and Teddy were in the middle of a fight it seems.

A syrup like substance was stretched from one tree to the other, as if someone had shot it from a cannon with very poor aim. Luffy stretched his arm and threw a Gum-Gum Pistol punch at Kid's chest.

"Don't think you're going to get away this time!" Kid laughed and jumped out of the way, causing Luffy's fist to stick to the sticky yellow sap.

"Crap! I'm stuck!" Luffy pulled on his arm but it wouldn't budge. The more he struggled to break free his hand, the more it seemed to sink further into the sticky substance.

Domino watched as Kid lunged for Teddy. The greenette screamed and swerved out of the way before his fist could crush her skull. Another rumbling sounded and Domino had guessed that Kid's punches were the cause of the earlier quake.

"You're crazy, you know that?!" Teddy pointed an accusing finger at the redhead. "Why the hell did Eiichiro Oda have to make a character like you?!"

Kid gave her a funny look, not knowing what she was talking about, "You're the crazy one here... And who the fuck is Oda?!"

He took out a pistol from the gun sling he wore around his torso and aimed at her head. "This'll teach you to mess with me, bitch." He grinned and pulled the trigger.

"Stop!!" Marie screamed.

A dagger flew past her and blocked the bullet's path, and landing in the white waters of the river never to be seen from again. Kid scowled when Teddy didn't drop dead or have a large hole in her forehead. He turned to look and saw the three females observing the match.

"You know, Eustass, I'll never understand why your constant high blood pressure never made your skin any less white." Domino laughed.

Teddy watched the girls curiously, they didn't look like they were afraid of Kid at all! Well...except for the short girl with platinum blonde hair crying and shaking.

"E-Eustass-san, please stop trying to kill people!" Marie pleaded while hiding behind Domino.

Kid sent her a glare, making her squeak and apologize. "Don't get in my way." He told them.

"Already did." Mika glared back.

While Kid and the three newcomers were talking, Teddy went to Luffy and helped him unstick his hand.

"What is this stuff?" Luffy asked once his hand was finally free. He sniffed his palm and blinked at the familiar scent. After licking his palm experimentally, he smiled at the taste, "It's honey!"

Kid looked back at his original target and frowned when Luffy was free from the sticky substance. He growled and was about to attack him again, when Law dropped from the sky and smoothly landed in front of him.

"Eustass-ya," Law began, his expression as emotionless as ever, "I suggest we work together for once and get out of here alive rather than fight ourselves and die early."

"Trafalgar is right," Domino laughed and headed over to the group. "Remember the last detention you had? You would've died if it weren't for the alliances you made!"

Marie and Mika followed suit, but kept their wary eyes on Kid. "If we wanna make it out of here, then we have to work together." Mika said.

Kid scoffed, "Fine. But don't think I won't try to kill all of you this Friday."

Teddy sighed. At least she won't die today, what a relief.

The group started to walk and follow the river, searching for other classmates that were just as lost as they were. Mika was examining the spheres carefully.

"Hey, um, thanks for saving me." Teddy said awkwardly.

Mika glanced her way and gave a nod, before looking back at the spheres again. Teddy frowned at her lack of communication.

"Don't worry, Kumagai-san, she's always like that." Marie reassured her.

"Really? I figured she was anti-social." Teddy smiled at her. "How do you know my name anyhow?"

Marie gave a shy smile and shakily held out her hand. "I'm Lauzen Marie... I heard of you during the cafeteria incident." She told her as Teddy shook her hand.

"Oh." Teddy frowned and remembered how she flipped a table on Kid. Hopefully he won't find her dorm room and kill her in her sleep.

"My name is Kane Domino! And this here is Rune Mika!" Domino draped an arm over Teddy's shoulders and nodded towards Mika who was walking beside her. "Heh, guess you can say we're friends now! So call me Domino, 'kay?" She said with a cheerful smile.

"Ah, and please feel free to call me Marie..." Marie said as she looked away shyly. Her cheeks began to turn the same shade as her strawberry-colored highlights. Damn that girl is way too cute.

"Well if we're going on first name basis then... Call me Teddy!"

She took a glance at Mika, but the girl didn't seem at all to be interested with joining in the conversation. Teddy let out a quiet sigh. She had hoped to be her friend too, after all Mika did save her.
