As Ash made his way towards Pewter city to see if he can encounter Misty, he decided to take a break, wanting to know the four pokémons he had on him. Tho he knew was that he was going to head to Alola, he needed to travel to the other regions to prevent the horrible things the villans in that region was planning. But why not have some fun with those who decided that backstabbing him was a good idea?

He decided to get to know the Eevee that professor Oak has given him and released it. It stared dazed at him before smiling, as it excitedly nuzzled at its trainer. He chuckled at its antics and used the NandoDéx to scan the Evolution Pokémon. In an electronic voice, it read out loud ''Eevee, the Evolution Pokémon, Female, Moves known: Tackle, Quick Attack, Double Kick, Sand Attack." 

"Interesting, that's rare that its a female" Ash muttered as he looked at the information, he released the other three pokémons on him, the legendaries already in their Crown forms, they stood proudly. They looked around, not used to their surroundings. The Absol smiled as it stared curiously at Ash, which got him chuckling at the pokémon.

He began scanning the Absol as the four pokémons warmed up to each other. He began training them and got used to the moves they had access to, he was planning of saving the two legendaries for emergencies.

"Right, time for you guys to return to your pokéballs. We're off to have some fun" He smiled as he returned the pokémon, except the Eevee. She was refusing to get back into her pokéball as she was amazed at her surroundings as she was usually in the ranch. As she made herself comfortable on Ash's shoulder, tickling Ash's faced with its fluffy fur as he chuckles at her, ruffling the fur of the Evolution Pokémon.

He began to walk in the dense forest, the grass fresh, he slowly remembered the scene that happened when he returned from the Kalos battle.

~Flashback~

When he opened the door, his mother greeted him, with a sweet voice, too sweet for his liking. "Ash you're home! Your friends want to tell you something, come in, let's go to the living room." She said as she turned her back and walked calmly to the living room. 

'Tell me something? Why do I have the feeling that the "something" has to do with me being the second place? Maybe I am just overthinking this. They're my friends, right?... Right?' He was snapped out of his thoughts by the sight of his friends, looking both disappointed and angry. His travelling companions and rivals, Misty, Brock, Tracey, May, Max, Dawn, Iris, Serena, Clemont, Bonnie, Drew, Paul and Barry were all there.

"What are you guys doing here? Serena?Clemont?Bonnie? I thought you all are in Kalos!" Ash exclaimed in shock. They all were glaring daggers at him in response. "Ash, you know you should just-" Barry started "Give up on your gosh darn dream!" Max intercepted. Ash could not believe what they were saying, "W-what did y-you say t-to me?" he croaked out, not believing his ears—trying his best not to drown in the abyss of his thoughts that were threatening to swallow him up, fearing what is going to happen next.

"Max didn't stutter, right? You should have your ears checked up. We said that you should give up on your dreams, even your mother and Pikachu agrees! Maybe even all your pokémon agrees as well!"Misty said as she pointed to Pikachu that was standing defensively in front of them, getting ready to attack Ash at any moment.

The other pokemon he had on, except Greninja all came out of their Pokéballs and joined them and copied Pikachu's attacking stance."Come on Ash give up on your dreams, and look at this! Your Pokémons are even against you! How pathetic! A trainer gets backstabbed by his Pokémons!" Paul said as he and the others start laughing hysterically.

Brock stood there staring at them angrily but did not utter a word. Ash could feel the anger boiling up within him. He wanted this to end so badly."Do you all agree on this"Ash managed to say, despite anger threatening to make him lash out, but he knew it would not help his current situation. They nodded without hesitation. Brock just gripped his pokéball with anger at the rest of Ash's friends, he was at the corner, not going with them. Ash noticed this but remained silent. The other's agreement did not help quench his anger.

"Since you won't give up on your dreams...we have no choice but to...Chase this loser away!" Drew shouted with glee as they called out their most powerful Pokémon. "Attack with full power! No holding back!" They commanded their Pokémon and Ash's Pokémons to aim their attack at Ash.

Brock whispered to his pokémon "Crobat use Hypnosis, try to avoid Ash."Ash had no time to react, still lost for words on what they said, and his Greninja came out of its Pokéball and used its water shuriken to block the incoming attacks.

~End of Flashback~

"Hey watch it" That snapped him out of his trance, he started at who he bumped into, it was Misty. He was about to apologise out of basic manners, but Misty continued, which made him annoyed.

"So rude, not even apologising" She sneered, eying Ash with judgement. "Is that an Eevee? It's so cute" She did a complete 180, which made the Eevee back down in slight fear of the sudden attention on her.

"Why dont you give me that Eevee as an apology? That cutie should evolve into a Vaporeon" She suggested, as she continued to babble about how the Eevee should be with her instead.

"I will not" Was his simple, straightforward answer, this anger Misty, Ash tried to move away, but Misty blocked him every time, he gave up not wanting to entertain her for that long.

She pondered for a while, wondering what she could do to get the Eevee. "Why not a pokémon battle? If you win, then you keep the cutie if I win you give the cutie to me" She fantasised, Ash just sighed in annoyance and agreed to it, seeing how well he can trash her with the Eevee. 

"Alright, Psyduck go!" She smiled gleefully, this somehow annoyed Ash, "Eevee you're up" His voice monotone. 'Let's see how hard would it be for me to wipe that smug look off you' He thought to himself, face blank; the two legendaries bombarded him with questions, but they quickly quieted down when he reminded them of the flashback he had.

"Ladies first," Ash taunted, mentally grinning to himself.
