Mari was the first one to wake up. She had expected to wake up in her bed, but when she had woken up on an office chair instead, she remembered what had happened the day before. She considered waking everyone else up, but decided to let them rest. Who knows what could come at them?

To pass the time, she started to look around for other objects that they might need. Finding nothing, she went back to the chair and sat down, looking at the Level 4 documents on the computer.

Not long after, Basil woke up. Not saying a word, he took out the pen and notepad he had found the previous day and kept doodling flowers. Sunflower Seed peeked out of Basil's pocket. As soon as Basil saw, he pet Sunflower Seed's head.

Basil then took out the plant from Kel's crate and wanted to water it, before remembering that they only had little water. Desperate, Basil punched a hole through the glass window and stuck the plant outside in the rain, trying to give it water.

The glass breaking woke everyone else up.

"Basil? What are you doing?" Kel asked sleepily.

"Watering my plant." Basil responded sheepishly.

"Uh, Basil? Your hand is bleeding." Hero pointed out.

It was only then did Basil look outside and see his bloodied hand holding his plant pot.

"Oh." Basil said. He pulled the plant inside and gently set it into Kel's crate before looking at his hand. "Do... do we have anything to stop the bleeding?"

"Well... no..." Hero admitted. "But we do have this red shirt that we found back in Level 1. We can tie it around your arm and use it to temporarily stop the bleeding. But before we do, are there any glass bits in Basil's skin?"

Mari closely inspected Basil's hand. "Ah, there is. However, I should be able to pull it out."

Before anyone could stop her, Mari had already grasped the glass shard and yanked it out.

"OUCH!" Basil screeched. "Please tell me that was the only one."

Mari nodded. "Yup."

"Thank goodness. Can we stop the bleeding now, please?"

Hero nodded as he gently wrapped the shirt around the area that was bleeding and then knotted it so it wouldn't fall off. "This should work for now."

"Thanks, Hero." Basil said.

"We need to keep going if we are to escape the backrooms." Aubrey butted in suddenly.

"Right, but this level is... calm. Maybe we should stay for a while." Sunny responded.

"Are you crazy? We'll-" she was going to say something, but stopped. "You're right. We need to make sure everything is okay, maybe we'll even meet someone who will help us."
