Sonic vs Sonic.Exe

It had been months since the last Death Battle concluded. Since then, life continued across their respective universes, each person returning to their daily routines. But ever since that broadcast, things had begun to change—some more subtly than others.

Surge and Kit were still part of the Restoration, though their involvement now felt different from the original timeline. After watching the last Death Battle, Surge came to a sobering realization: if fighters with strong level really existed, then Sonic might be far stronger than she had assumed—perhaps even strong enough to defeat her again. That idea alone gnawed at her pride. She couldn't deny it anymore. That blue hedgehog had already bested her, and it stung.

Determined to change that, she vowed to grow stronger—strong enough not just to match Sonic, but to surpass him, and prove to herself that she could be a better hero than him.

After the Phantom Riders Arc, as the Restoration was undergoing repairs, Surge and Kit entered a room where Sonic and the others had gathered—Whisper, Tangle, Jewel, and Laloni among them.

"Huh? Oh—hey, Surge, Kit. I thought you two had taken off," Sonic greeted casually.

"Heh. I changed my mind," Surge replied with a smirk. "Especially after that Death Battle we saw on the floating screen."

"Oh, that?" Jewel said. "Yeah, it's been quiet ever since it ended."

Whisper remained wary. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she looked at Surge. "Alright, Surge. Be honest—why are you really here? You're not the type to just drop in."

Surge let out an irritated sigh but gave a truthful response.

"Hey, Blue Hedgehog. Remember why Kit and I joined the Restoration in the first place?"

Sonic tilted his head. "Sure. I remember you having lunch with Amy, which, frankly, caught me off guard. Why do you ask?"

"I want you to train me—and Kit."

The room went silent.

"Huh?!" Tangle blurted out, blinking in disbelief.

Surge stepped forward, arms crossed, her eyes unwavering. "You heard me. I want you to train us."

Sonic raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised. "Wow. Didn't expect that coming from you."

"Hold up," Tails interjected. "Why are you asking him?"

Surge quickly chimed in. "Simple, fox—"

"I have a name, you know."

"Whatever," Surge huffed. "I want Sonic to train me and Kit because I'm tired of being second-best. And no, this isn't about your little 'phantom rider' stunt."

Sonic shrugged sheepishly, remembering the disguise he used during the Phantom Rider operation. He had tricked everyone, especially Laloni so his friends can board the airship to foil Clutch the Opossum's evil plan before Eggman could intervene and snatch him away.

"But why him?" Tails asked. "You two were made by Dr. Starline specifically to defeat Sonic. Isn't that enough?"

At the mention of Starline, Surge clenched her fists, a growl escaping her throat. She would never forgive that doctor for what he had done to her and Kit—turning them into weapons for his own twisted goals. Kit stepped forward, supporting her.

"What she means is," Kit began, "after watching the Death Battle... we realized just how strong those guys are, especially for Sonic really is. Even when we pushed ourselves to our limit, we couldn't match him. So, we decided... if we ever want to stand a chance, we need him to train us."

Sonic's cocky smirk returned as he raised an eyebrow. "So that's what this is about, huh? You want to get stronger, settle the score. You want to beat me one day."

"Tch. Don't get ahead of yourself," Surge scoffed. "I'm not exactly thrilled about losing to you. But ever since those fights—against you and your friends—I've been questioning everything. My purpose, my goals..."

She paused, taking a deep breath.

"Look. I get it. I was made to replace you—to kill you. But that failed. And now... I'm trying to figure out who I really am, outside of what that bastard Starline wanted. If I'm going to take this whole 'hero' thing seriously, then I need to be strong. Stronger than you. I refuse to just be some backup lackey."

A stunned silence followed her words. Sonic tapped his foot thoughtfully, absorbing everything.

"You've got guts, Surge. I'll give you that. Didn't expect you to lay it all out like that."

Kit leaned in. "So... does that mean...?"

"Yeah," Sonic nodded. "I'll train you. We were about to head out anyway to help with rebuilding the Restoration and deal with some security issues and finding out the missing stolen emerald, but we can make time."

Amy, who had been quiet until now, tilted her head gently.

"Surge, Kit... I get what you're trying to do. But training with Sonic isn't just about becoming stronger. Being a hero means knowing why you fight—not just how."

"We know," Kit said softly. "But we want to prove that we can stand on our own—that we don't always have to depend on someone else."

"Yeah!" Surge added, cracking her fists together with renewed energy.

Sonic crossed his arms and grinned. "Just so we're clear, I'm not going easy on you. After all the stuff you pulled before joining the Restoration, you've got some lessons coming your way. Consider it payback—and a chance to learn. But remember you don't surpass someone just because you want to. You have to earn it."

Whisper looked at Sonic, concern in her eyes. "Are you sure about this?"

Sonic glanced back at her, smiling confidently. "Sure, I am, Whisper. No need to worry."

Then he turned to Surge.

"So, Surge... are you really willing to do whatever it takes to become stronger?"

Surge smirked, placing a clenched fist to her chest as electricity flickered around her.

"Yeah. I'm ready to give it everything I've got. I will beat you—no matter what."

"Haha! Now that's the spirit," Sonic laughed. "Hope you're ready when training starts."

Suddenly, the floating screen in the room began to flicker back to life.

"H-Hey, look!" Jewel pointed. "The screen's turning on!"

Knuckles narrowed his eyes. "You think...?"

Rouge folded her arms. "Yes, Knuckles. Looks like they're finally back—with another Death Battle."

Laloni, curious, tilted her head toward the glowing screen. She had seen these strange battles before during missions with Whisper and Tangle.

"Death Battle again... I still wonder why bother we watch these things," she said.

Tails explained. "Perhaps to study each fighter's strengths, feats, and abilities. That way, if we ever encounter them, we'll be able to plan accordingly."

"I see..." Laloni nodded.

Surge looked back at the screen; her eyes lit with renewed excitement.

"Alright, Death Battle... hope you've got something good for us this time."

Then she turned to Sonic, pointing a finger at him.

"Right after this is over, you train us. Don't forget it."

"Yeah, yeah," Sonic chuckled. "Let's just see who's up next."

Everyone's attention turned to the screen as Boomstick and Wiz returned, ready to introduce the next Death Battle.

...

[On screen]

Wiz: Sonic the Hedgehog, the Fastest Thing Alive.

Boomstick: Sonic.EXE, the Murderous Creepypasta Hedgehog.

Wiz: Many popular series have inspired dark and twisted campfire stories for the internet to enjoy, but what happens when one encounters their dark reflection?

Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.

Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle.

Audiences across different universes throughout the Multiverse are watching the next Death Battle match, eager to witness the clash between two identical blue hedgehogs—though one key difference sets them apart. On one side stands Sonic the Hedgehog, looking like his usual heroic self. On the other side is a terrifying, eldritch demon version, with glowing red eyes, black tears streaming from them, and a mouth full of sharp teeth. His skin is noticeably darker than the real Sonic's, adding to the disturbing contrast.

The sight of the heroic blue hedgehog—known for always saving the day—brings cheers from Mobians and Humans alike in his world. But the appearance of that twisted, demonic version fills them with fear and dread, shaken by the presence of something so monstrous wearing Sonic's face.

"W-What is that?!" Jewel the Beetle cried out, pointing at the screen in terror. The others stared in amazement at first, surprised to see Sonic as the next contestant in a Death Battle. But their awe quickly turned to shock when they noticed a horrifying imitation—an eerie Sonic lookalike with glowing red eyes, jagged teeth, and a darker shade of blue fur. Whisper's Wisps trembled in fear at the sight of the monstrous doppelgänger. Seeing their distress, Whisper gently wrapped her arms around them in a protective hug.

"That thing looks terrifying, I have to admit," Rouge muttered, eyes fixed on the screen.

"What was that?!" Silver exclaimed, jabbing a finger toward the display. "He looks like Sonic... but like some twisted, nightmarish version!"

"So, Sonic's facing that faker," Shadow said, folding his arms with a scowl. "I wonder why they even chose him for this fight."

"Maybe he's from another universe—part of our multiverse," Tails suggested, piecing together the theory. The others turned their attention to him.

"Huh?" Surge muttered, confused.

"It makes sense," Blaze said calmly. "If the Multiverse is real, then logically, we'd have our own versions of it too."

"Hold on... Are we seriously saying we have our own multiverse?" Lanolin asked, exasperated. She rubbed her forehead and sighed. "This whole situation has been stressing me out ever since that screen appeared out of nowhere."

"Well," Tails began, "since Death Battle explores combatants across the multiverse, it stands to reason that ours is included. From what I understand, each universe branches off based on the choices individuals make—some better, some worse. The paths they take shape their fates."

"Whoa... that's deep, Tails," Tangle said, genuinely impressed.

"That faker, wherever he's from, is creepy as all get out," Sonic said, watching the screen with a confident grin. "He might want to be like me, but man, he's a lot uglier. Whoever he is, he's about to find out just how awesome I really am."

"Grrr... I should be the one fighting him! It should've been me!" Surge growled, sparks of electricity dancing along her quills as her fists clenched tightly.

"S-Surge..." Kit said nervously, clearly concerned.

"Easy, Surge," Sonic said with a smirk. "Let's see who I'm up against first. I'm sure they'll explain everything soon enough."

Cream House

Cream clung tightly to her mother, Vanilla, trembling as the terrifying image of the corrupted Sonic appeared on-screen. It looked just like the hero she admired—but twisted, unnatural, and cruel. It frightened her deeply. Gemerl instantly activated his protective protocols, standing guard beside Cream and Vanilla, his sensors locked on the screen, ready to defend the two if necessary.

"Is that Sonic on the right? Because if it is..." Charmy Bee stammered, fear written all over his face.

"That's not Sonic," Espio said flatly.

"Huh?" Charmy blinked in confusion.

"Espio's right," Vector added, narrowing his eyes. "I can tell the difference. That thing on the screen might look like Sonic, but it's some kind of monster. Hopefully, we'll learn more about what kind of freak is out there impersonating him."

He stared at the image of Sonic.exe, his usual relaxed demeanor replaced by a grim seriousness.

Eggman Secret Base

"So... the blue pest is going up against a fake version of himself from some bizarre alternate universe," Dr. Eggman mused, reclining in his chair while watching the feed. Although part of him relished the thought of Sonic being pummeled by an evil counterpart, even he felt an uneasy chill when he looked at the creature on-screen. This wasn't just another rival—it was something far more sinister.

Sage, his AI creation and daughter figure, appeared beside him in a calm projection.

"Father," she said, "I've scanned the fake blue hedgehog. Its structure is similar to Sonic the Hedgehog, but I cannot comprehend the nature of its disturbing appearance."

"Don't bother, Sage," Eggman grumbled. "Those two Death Battle hosts will fill in the gaps for us soon enough. Let's see what we can learn from all this. But first..."

He let out a low, disdainful hum.

"...We'll need to brush up on that blue rodent we know first."

"Understood, Father," Sage responded.

SONIC THE HEDGEHOG

Wiz: Alright, let's talk about the fastest thing alive—Sonic the Hedgehog. But not just any version. This Sonic has gone far beyond chili dogs and casual ring-collecting. We're diving deep into the long-term legacy of the blue blur who's been through wars, invasions, global catastrophes, and some of the most complex arcs in his world.

Boomstick: And this ain't your Saturday morning cartoon Sonic either. This guy's been through some serious stuff—I'm talkin' about fighting ancient monsters, literal gods of destruction, world-spanning empires, and evil clones of himself that make your skin crawl. But he always comes out on top with a cocky grin and quip ready to go!

Wiz: Over time, Sonic has developed far more than just blinding speed. He's displayed an incredible tolerance for pain, taking beatings from enemies who've leveled city blocks and still getting back up. He's survived explosions that would've vaporized most people, resisted mind control from technomagic parasites, and even outrun reality-warping threats. His stamina is virtually unmatched, pushing through non-stop combat for days, even when exhausted, and still staying in the fight with full control over his movement and reflexes.

"Whaaat?! He's faster than I am?" Rainbow Dash shouted, completely stunned.

She stared at the screen in disbelief, struggling to comprehend how someone like Sonic could be so much faster than her. What made it even more astonishing was how easily he overcame dangers on his adventures, countering threats with remarkable precision and skill.

"Wow," Applejack said, watching with wide eyes. "That Sonic the Hedgehog sure outruns even you, Rainbow."

"Hey!" Rainbow snapped, clearly offended.

"Oh my," Rarity chimed in, eyeing the figure on screen. "That hedgehog doesn't wear anything fashionable—just shoes."

"Rarity, this ain't about fashion right now," Applejack said flatly. "Matter o' fact, none of us are wearin' anything either."

Rarity paused, blinking, before muttering, "Touché."

"I can't believe what I'm hearing," Rainbow Dash grumbled. "There's no way he's better than me. I'm the fastest flier in Equestria!"

"There, there, Dashy," Applejack said gently, patting her with a comforting hoof.

"We all know you're the fastest around here. But, truth be told... Sonic? He's way, way faster than anypony I've ever seen."

Rainbow Dash groaned, glaring at her friend. "Is that supposed to cheer me up, Applejack?"

Applejack chuckled nervously, realizing her words might have done the opposite.

"What!? He can run that fast?" Tenya Iida exclaimed, eyes wide in disbelief.

Tenya was completely shocked. Sonic's speed surpassed not only his own but even that of his older brother, Tensei. The idea that someone from another universe could possess such incredible speed was nearly impossible to grasp, and yet Sonic the Hedgehog was living proof—undeniably the fastest being he had ever seen.

"Amazing..." Midoriya muttered, scribbling rapidly in his notebook as he watched the screen. "Sonic possesses super speed that lets him move faster than the wind itself."

He turned his head toward Tenya, curiosity in his eyes.

"Ida, has anyone in your family ever reached that level of speed?"

"No... No hero ever has," Tenya replied, his voice nearly a whisper. For once, he was completely still, frozen in awe.

"Whoa," Kirishima breathed out. "I've never seen anyone move that fast. He's like a blur of light. What kind of Quirk is that?"

"I have no idea, man," Denki said, equally amazed. "But I gotta say—Sonic's the coolest speedster I've ever seen."

...

Boomstick: Yeah, and let's not forget the time he took down entire armies led by tyrants like Doctor Eggman's Metal Virus outbreak. That whole thing turned people into zombie-like metal freaks, and Sonic was the one out there running constantly, trying to save everyone—without resting! And he did all that while infecting himself! Talk about guts.

Billy crossed his arms, whistling low. "Whoa. Dude ran around saving people even when he was infected? That's hardcore."

Anby's eyes narrowed, her voice calm but curious. "He resisted the infection and kept going? That level of determination... it's unnatural. He endangered himself, yet he didn't stop."

Nicole leaned forward with a smirk, tapping her tablet. "Now that's a headline. 'Hero Turns Into Living Virus Vector, Still Saves the World.' Honestly, I respect that kind of chaos—but it's the kind that saves lives. He didn't just outrun danger. He outran despair."

Billy tilted his head, impressed. "He's got more stamina than a whole squad of Hollow Raiders. And no backup either? That's wild."

Anby nodded slightly. "It speaks to something beyond strength. A will that refuses to break, even as the body does."

Nicole's tone turned playful, though her eyes were sharp. "Makes me wonder how long he'd last in New Eridu. Probably longer than most of us."

"Oh yeah... I still remember that," Silver said quietly.

"We all do," Lanolin replied. "Back when Dr. Eggman turned everyone into Zombots."

The memory of that horrific day remained vivid in everyone's mind—the apocalyptic outbreak that transformed so many into metallic husks under Eggman's control. Whisper felt a cold shiver crawl across her skin as the trauma resurfaced, especially the moment when Tangle had become one of them. She had nearly lost everything that day.

Sensing her unease, Tangle gently placed a comforting hand on Whisper's shoulder. Whisper's Wisps gathered around her, forming a soft, protective aura to calm her trembling nerves.

"Yeah... I remember getting infected," Sonic said, frowning slightly. "Trying not to turn completely was harder than anyone could imagine."

"It was pathetic," Shadow muttered. "I'm the Ultimate Lifeform... and even I got infected so easily."

"Hey, don't beat yourself up," Sonic replied, shrugging. "Me and my friends worked together to save everyone by turning back to normal. We pulled through. We turned it all around."

"That doesn't change the fact that they managed to beat me," Shadow growled under his breath.

"Oh, don't be so grumpy, Shadow," Rouge said with a teasing smirk. "That's all behind us now."

"I'm not grumpy," Shadow retorted.

Rouge chuckled. "If you say so."

Knuckles crossed his arms, glancing back at the screen. "Still... I want to know more about that fake freak of yours."

He was referring to the disturbing version of Sonic they had just seen—Sonic.exe.

"Not sure who he really is yet," Sonic said. "But one thing's for sure—if he underestimates me, I'll make him regret it."

"Oh, that's rich," Surge laughed. "I could take that freak faker down myself!"

"Surge, behave," Amy snapped, giving her a sharp glare.

"Fine, whatever," Surge huffed, crossing her arms and turning her head away with a scoff.

...

Wiz: His combat prowess is just as sharp as his attitude. He can take on elite warriors like Surge the Tenrec and Whisper the Wolf, who are no joke in close-quarters or long-range combat. Sonic blends martial prowess with acrobatics, often incorporating his Spin Dash and Homing Attack in unpredictable ways to overwhelm his foes. His reflexes are on such a high tier that he can react to lasers and dodge lightning-speed attacks mid-fight, even when distracted.

Boomstick: You've ever seen a guy run through solid steel, knock out robots with a single spin, and sprint across oceans without sinking? Sonic has. He's even gone toe-to-toe with ancient demigods and beat the tar outta mech-titans the size of skyscrapers. Not to mention, he can break the sound barrier before most people can blink.

Neuvillette's gaze remained steady as he listened, his tone composed yet contemplative. "To wield such strength and speed with such control... It borders on the divine. He is capable of defying physics and still retaining precision is not one to be dismissed lightly."

Furina leaned back with a dramatic flourish, her voice rising in awe and disbelief. "He ran across the ocean? Without sinking? That's just absurd! Who does that? Even Hydro Archons need a boat now and then!"

Charlotte adjusted her glasses, scribbling rapidly into her notepad. "His reflexes allow him to dodge lightning while distracted... That's far beyond human comprehension. This Sonic might just be faster than the shutter of my best camera. I need a special lens just to keep up with his movements."

Navia folded her arms thoughtfully, a hint of respect in her voice. "Taking down demigods and war machines the size of buildings... Sounds like someone who never backs down. I can admire that—he fights for something bigger than himself."

Chevreuse nodded firmly, arms behind her back in a military stance. "He's not just fast. He's disciplined in combat. Blending martial skill with raw power like that—it takes more than talent. That's training and instinct working together. I wouldn't mind running a few drills with him."

Clorinde's expression was unreadable, but her voice carried a calm edge. "His unpredictability in battle makes him dangerous. Even the most elite warriors would struggle against that kind of speed and improvisation. If he can defeat ancient beings and still remain standing, then he's more than just a blur—he's a force."

"That, I can agree with," Chevreuse replied to Clorinde with a nod.

Wiz: But perhaps Sonic's greatest trump card is his transformation—Super Sonic. By harnessing the power of the seven Chaos Emeralds, Sonic undergoes a transformation that amplifies all of his abilities exponentially. In this form, he becomes virtually invulnerable, flies faster than the speed of light, and can unleash shockwaves capable of demolishing everything in the area. He's even used Super Sonic to punch through temporal rifts and interdimensional barriers.

Boomstick: Super Sonic ain't just flashy gold—it's pure, raw power! He's knocked out titans like the Final Hazard, neutralized chaos-infused monsters like Zavok, and shrugged off energy blasts that could level continents. The guy doesn't even need to breathe in that form! And let's not forget—he once fought a black hole and won.

Everyone stood frozen in shock and awe as they watched Sonic the Hedgehog transform into his Super form—his glowing golden aura and levitating pose strikingly similar to the legendary Super Saiyan transformation.

"He can transform like a Super Saiyan?!" Goku exclaimed, pointing at the screen with wide eyes.

Vegeta, visibly annoyed by Goku's outburst, crossed his arms and growled, "Of course not, Kakarot! He needs those seven Chaos Emeralds to reach that form. And he's a hedgehog, not a Saiyan!"

"How is that even possible?" Gohan asked, confused. "That transformation... it looks just like ours. Did he somehow copy it?"

"It depends on the universe you're born in," Bulma explained. "Each universe operates under different rules and phenomena. What's normal in one might seem impossible in another."

"Amazing..." Goku said with a huge grin. "I really want to fight him!"

His excitement was practically overflowing, clearly hoping he'd get the chance to challenge Sonic and test the limits of his own strength.

"Kakarot, you imbecile fool," Vegeta muttered with a sneer.

Wiz: Sonic's willpower plays a key role in everything. Whether he's racing across shattered worlds or resisting control from mind-warping forces, he never gives up. He's not just a speedster—he's a symbol of hope, resistance, and momentum. With sharp instincts, battlefield experience, and near-limitless energy when it matters most, this Sonic is a lot more dangerous than he looks.

Boomstick: Yeah, and if you're dumb enough to get in his way, don't expect mercy—expect a blur of blue fury moving faster than your last heartbeat.

Sonic: "I am who I am, an adventure loving Hedgehog. I'm Sonic the Hedgehog."

"Ah yeah! Brings back the good old days," Sonic said with a grin. "Fighting all those guys, saving the day, taking on Egghead over and over... yeah, good times."

Knuckles smiled, arms crossed as he nodded in approval. "I'm surprised you managed to handle all that on your own without us. You really impressed me."

"Aw, thanks, knucklehead," Sonic replied playfully.

"Don't push it," Knuckles muttered in response.

"Awesome!" Tangle exclaimed. "You've been on so many adventures, I can't even wrap my head around how you survived all of it!"

"It's Sonic," Tails said with a small smile. "He has a way of turning the impossible into possible. Of course, if he ever needs us, we'll always be there to help save the day."

Surge and Kit sat in stunned silence, jaws practically hitting the floor as they watched the sheer number of battles Sonic had been through. Never in their lives had they imagined he'd overcome so many challenges through sheer willpower and determination.

For Surge, the sight stirred an uncomfortable feeling in her chest. She clenched her fists tightly, unwilling to admit just how much Sonic had surpassed her. It stung to realize he was stronger than she had ever expected—and it made her jealous.

"U-Um, Surge? Are you okay?" Kit asked gently.

"I'm fine. Just fine," Surge replied through gritted teeth. "I still want to beat that blue hedgehog."

Her voice was determined. Even if sparring with Sonic would be tougher than she anticipated, she intended to keep trying. The last time they fought, she lost—and she wasn't going to let that happen again.

The screen shifted, now displaying Sonic's next opponent—a terrifying doppelgänger with a sinister grin.

"Finally," Shadow muttered, narrowing his eyes. "Now we'll see who this fake blue hedgehog really is."

"Yeah," Knuckles agreed. "That creepy smile makes me want to punch his face in."

Tails pulled out his tablet, preparing to document everything. He wanted to understand the analysis provided by Boomstick and Wiz to get a clearer picture of who—or what—Sonic.exe truly was. But as he watched the unsettling image, a strange sense of unease settled over him. Something about that creature didn't feel right.

Sonic.EXE

Boomstick: So we got ourselves another multiversal maniac with god-tier powers and a thing for blue hedgehogs. And this one ain't the usual chili dog-lovin' Sonic—this one's bleeding from the eyes and tearing souls out of people through a cursed video game. Meet Sonic.exe, or just "X" if you're into creepy cosmic horror names.

Wiz: X is far more than just a twisted version of Sonic. He's not a failed clone, nor some corrupted digital copy. He's a full-blown eldritch entity made from clashing primordial forces—an accident of raw existence, born from the chaos of creation itself. His form, origin, and power aren't just unnatural—they're borderline incomprehensible. At his core, X is sentient reality-warping energy with an obsession for control and domination.

...

Everyone find shocking, and then, scared that eldritch entity that origin is very unknown, but born out of chaos itself. Not only that, Sonic.Exe also a reality-warping demon in the obsession of control and domination over humanity and other sentient races.

Gojo raised an eyebrow and gave a crooked grin, eyes gleaming with intrigue. "Bleeding from the eyes and ripping out souls through a cursed video game? Now that's my kind of cursed energy. Sounds like Sukuna, but even more theatrical."

Yuji leaned forward, a nervous chuckle escaping him. "Wait, wait, wait. So this guy's like Sonic, but if Sonic had a bad breakup with the universe and turned into a horror movie? That's messed up."

Nobara clicked her tongue, her arms crossed tightly. "A monster made from chaos that wants total control? Typical. These freaks always think they're special just because they're cosmic. I'd love to smash his face in with a hammer and see if eldritch goo leaks out."

Megumi's expression darkened slightly as he considered the analysis. "He isn't just a corrupted entity. He's something that shouldn't exist. A creature that was never meant to take form. That kind of presence warps everything around it—like a cursed spirit beyond classification."

Panda tilted his head, clearly unsettled. "A multiversal horror with god powers and an obsession with domination? That's not just cursed. That's full-on nightmare fuel. Even the higher-ups wouldn't know how to seal something like that."

Gojo chuckled again, adjusting his blindfold. "Sounds like the kind of enemy that makes life interesting. I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't want to test Infinity against something like him—just to see who breaks first."

Shigaraki stared at the screen, a twisted grin slowly creeping across his face. "So, a freak born from chaos that wants to dominate everything? Sounds familiar. I like him already."

Dabi let out a low laugh, flames crackling faintly around his shoulders. "Bleeding eyes and ripping out souls? That's one hell of a resume. Honestly, he sounds like someone you don't run from—you watch the world burn beside him."

Toga swayed with excitement, eyes gleaming. "A monster that tears people apart through a cursed game? That's so creepy and cool! I wonder what his blood tastes like. Would it glitch?"

Twice clapped his hands together, his tone frantic and cheerful. "He's terrifying! He's wonderful! He's terrifyingly wonderful! A digital demon with multiversal muscles! I love him! I hate him! I don't know anymore!"

Spinner folded his arms, the edge in his voice unmistakable. "A creature obsessed with control and domination... Just another tyrant in a different costume. He may look terrifying, but underneath it all, he's just another monster pretending to be a god."

Mr. Compress adjusted his mask with theatrical flair. "Now that is a performer. A creature of chaos, mystery, and spectacle, born from the fabric of reality itself? If that doesn't belong on center stage, nothing does. A pity he lacks finesse—power without artistry is just noise."

After a while, Himiko's expression shifted into something far more serious, though no one around her seemed to notice the change. Her eyes locked onto the screen, staring directly at Sonic.exe. Her thoughts turned inward, focused entirely on what her father might do about the creature.

"Father... it looks like they've chosen that demonic version of Sonic the Hedgehog. I wonder what you're planning to do with him if you ever decide to confront him. Still, I'm not worried. You are a man of overwhelming power, a godlike force, and the supreme sovereign of the Sovereignty Republic of Salvatia. I believe in you. Sooner or later, you'll deal with him... I know you will.", Himiko said in her thoughts, looking at demonic reality-warp entity wearing a face of Sonic the Hedgehog.

Boomstick: And I thought my ex was controlling! This guy saw Sonic, got love-struck, copied his entire look, then laughed himself into evil godhood. His idea of romance? Building a twisted version of the Green Hill Zone and using it to trap humans like rats in a maze... and then rip their souls out one by one.

Wiz: That "game" he uses is more than just a tool—it's a doorway between dimensions. Once someone boots up the Sonic.exe disk, X gains access to the player's reality through their computer, manipulating their environment with illusions, horrors, or even physical manifestations. He's not limited to the digital world—he uses it as a bridge. That's an important distinction. He doesn't exist in the same framework as other Sonic characters. He exists around them, above them.

In the world of Mobius, everyone watching this feels terrified upon learning about Sonic's evil doppelgänger—Sonic.Exe. His origin remains largely unknown, but it is said that he can open doorways between dimensions. Meanwhile at other place, Sonic and the others were struck with a deep sense of unease as the analysis of Sonic.exe continued. The atmosphere grew heavy, serious. This wasn't just another enemy—it was something far worse. Jewel the Beetle trembled at the sight of a demonic being wearing Sonic's face like a mask. Laloni's expression tightened, her usual seriousness laced with a rare hint of dread. The others shared the same chilling tension. Though they were clearly disturbed, none allowed fear to control them. They stood firm, knowing this threat was unlike anything they had faced before.

Sonic's trademark smirk had completely vanished. In its place was a hardened expression, the weight of realization settling over him. "Tails... this guy didn't just copy me—he twisted everything I believe in," he said, his voice low. "He's not just a glitch. He's something else entirely."

Tails frowned, tapped through his tablet with growing concern. "Yeah," he replied. "I've been scanning the dimensional data from the analysis. If this 'X' can manipulate realities through code and perception, then he's beyond our rules. He's not just from another dimension—he's a predator. And digital space? That's his hunting ground."

Knuckles clenched his fists, his voice rough with anger. "So he built a fake Green Hill Zone just to lure victims? That's more than evil. That's personal. He's mocking everything we stand for."

Amy's eyes widened with a mix of horror and disbelief. "That's not just cruel... that's sick," she whispered. "He took something beautiful and twisted it into a trap. It's like he's trying to poison every good memory people have of you, Sonic."

Shadow narrowed his gaze, his tone cold and cutting. "He doesn't belong in any natural order. He's not an enemy. He's a mistake—something that never should've existed."

Lanolin pressed her fingers against her temple, overwhelmed. "So he doesn't even follow reality's rules," she said. "He doesn't fight. He invades in fear. How do you stop something that treats existence like a game?"

Sonic's eyes burned with resolve as he stared back at the screen. "He calls himself 'X,' right? That's all he is—a variable. A void trying to fill itself with fear, control, and pain," he said firmly. "But if he thinks wearing my face gives him any power, he's dead wrong. He's not me. He'll never be me."

Tails looked up at him, his voice steady and determined. "We'll figure this out. Together. If he thinks he can twist your legacy and get away with it, he picked the wrong hedgehog to imitate."

Amy, Silver, Blaze, Tangle, and Whisper all nodded, their eyes set with resolve. They would stand together and bring this monstrous version of Sonic down.

Meanwhile, Surge and Kit sat apart from the others, visibly shaken by what they had just seen. Kit's body trembled uncontrollably. His wide, frightened eyes remained locked on the screen, unable to look away from the distorted image of Sonic.exe. The thought haunted him—what if Sonic turned into something like that? What if that evil doppelgänger came for him?

Surge, though quiet, was just as disturbed. She refused to show it, but deep inside, fear gnawed at her relentlessly. Her breathing grew uneven, shallow. She stared at her own hand, watching it tremble. Gritting her teeth, she curled her fingers into a tight fist, trying to crush the fear out of herself.

"No... No! I'm not afraid of that fake blue... hedgehog," she insisted in her thoughts. But no matter how much she tried to deny it, the truth was already settled in her chest.
"So why... why the hell am I scared?"

Wreck-It Ralph Universe

After Sugar Rush has replaceable staring wheel, thanks for Ralph and Vanellope, Vanellope visit her old home, Litwak's Arcade, to see Ralph and the others. When they having a good time together, the screen appeared on every arcade for videogame characters watching it. They've seen those previous games that is so excitement. But now, when death battle shown Sonic the Hedgehog vs Sonic.Exe, specifically Sonic.Exe, they are terrified of evil entity possess reality-bending power and enter to different dimensions through digital and physical realm.

Vanellope's eyes widened, her jaw hanging open as she stared at the screen. "That guy's supposed to look like Sonic? Ew. He's like a nightmare wearing your favorite plushie's face."

Ralph's hands curled into uneasy fists, his expression dark. "I don't like this. He's wearing the face of someone players trust, someone they love—and then he turns it into a horror show.  That's very evil."

Felix wiped a bit of nervous sweat from his brow, gripping his hammer a little tighter. "By gum, that thing can travel through computers and mess with the real world? That's... I mean, that's beyond anything I've ever patched up."

Calhoun stood tall beside him, eyes focused and sharp. "He's not just a threat to one game. If he can breach dimensions and twist reality with raw willpower, then nothing's off-limits. If that freak ends up in our arcade, we better have a plan—and fast."

Ralph's fists clenched tighter as he stepped forward, a fire burning in his eyes. "If that thing ever shows up here, I don't care how godlike he thinks he is—I'll wreck him myself if I have to. Nobody messes with my friends."

Vanellope quickly moved beside him, her fists up in mock defiance. "Yeah, what he said. If Sonic.exe thinks he can scare us, he's never seen a glitch with guts before."

Felix gave a firm nod, his voice more confident now. "We'll stand by you, Ralph. That thing's not getting past us."

Calhoun loaded a pixel blaster from her hip and gave a smirk. "Then we fight smart, stay together, and shoot first if it twitches wrong. Let's see if this digital demon can handle a real game over."

Boomstick: And don't think just turning off the PC saves you. He's sent plush toys to spy on people. And the moment he finds the right opening, he yoinks your soul straight out of your meat sack. The worst part? You're still alive—just brain-dead with a freakin' number carved into your chest. Cold.

Wiz: Over time, X learned how to extract souls with surgical precision. He refined his technique from bloody accidents to soul-snatching perfection. That demonstrates not only terrifying power but terrifying intelligence. He learns, adapts, and refines. That's dangerous.

Boomstick: So yeah, if you're thinking about putting X in a Death Battle, you're not just fighting a creepy pasta villain. You're going toe-to-toe with a dimension-creating, reality-warping, soul-stealing god who thinks Earth is his toybox and humans are collectibles.

Warhammer 40k Universe

Necron Sautekh Dynasty

Imotekh the Storm Lord sat motionless upon his throne, his piercing gaze locked onto the screen before him. The celestial energy flickered across the holographic screen as the words of the Boomstick & Wiz echoed through the vast chamber. He spoke slowly, his voice metallic and disdainful. "So, this grotesque mockery of form, this... Sonic.Exe, considers himself a god? A soul-thief born from digital madness. Hmph. He reeks of the Warp, of the same insanity the Chaos Gods exude. I find him... repulsive."

The chamber doors groaned open as Orikan the Diviner strode in, staff in hand and eyes alight with curiosity. "I see you are watching the battles of these organic primitives. Fascinating, isn't it? Their conflicts, though crude, offer insight into their essence. This hedgehog they call Sonic... there is something about him. I propose we capture this creature for further study. He may hold secrets beyond even the Old Ones' reckoning."

Imotekh's eyes narrowed beneath his crown, his fingers tightening around the arms of his throne. "No. You will not tamper with him—yet. This Sonic is no mere mortal, but he is not our concern for now. His strength, his swiftness... they intrigue me. But the other one, this twisted shadow that 'blue hedgehog' form, must not be allowed to contaminate our realm. He is chaos given shape, and I will not have him threaten my dynasty."

Orikan tilted his head slightly, frowning. "So you would have us observe, then? Merely watch while these lesser beings dance in their primitive theater?"

Imotekh's voice deepened with thought. "For now. We study. We learn. Their battles may reveal strengths... and weaknesses. This 'Death Battle' is a proving ground, and from it, I will glean the means to counter even that soul-stealing abomination. As for Sonic... he will be spared. For now. Let us see what the next confrontation reveals."

Orikan let out a quiet, irritable groan but bowed his head in reluctant acceptance. "As you decree, Storm Lord. I only hope your patience yields more than idle curiosity."

...

Wiz: His weaknesses are few and ambiguous. He can't easily enter our world unless given a proper gateway. But once he's in, his influence spreads like a virus. And fighting him directly? That would require someone who can resist or counteract reality manipulation, soul defense, and cross-dimensional awareness.

Boomstick: Translation? Unless your fighter is a multiversal-level powerhouse with protection from spooky mind games and soul yoinking, they're gonna be stuck in Hill Act 1 forever.

Wiz: X is no mere evil Sonic. He's what happens when reality's rules take a day off—and evil decides to wear a familiar face.

...

Everyone feels afraid of this demonic entity capable of entering different worlds. But they're also relieved to learn that Sonic.Exe has a weakness—he cannot enter other dimensions without a proper gateway. Still, there's a lingering sense of caution and unease, especially with the fear that he might one day find a way to break through the dimensional barrier.

The Mobians are terrified of someone wearing the face of their blue hedgehog hero, bringing chaos and destruction to innocent lives. Yet, there are others who refuse to give in to fear. They know they have the real Sonic the Hedgehog—the hero who will stop that demon, one way or another. They still remember how Sonic has saved the world countless times from villains like Dr. Eggman, and they believe he'll defeat Sonic.Exe too.

...

---

Boomstick: Okay! Now we're diving into what this monster actually does once he shows up. Spoiler alert: it ain't pretty.

Wiz: No, it isn't. Sonic.exe, or X, isn't just some screaming glitch. He's a walking apocalypse disguised in blue fur. Physically, he's already terrifying. X has shown the strength to casually overpower physically fit humans—snapping jaws, crushing throats, and dominating like it's child's play.

Boomstick: Football champs? Knocked out cold. Anyone trying to throw hands with him? Forget it. And don't let the Sonic look fool you—this thing can move. He catches people with ease, suggesting he's got speed that's either superhuman or borderline supernatural. Maybe not quite Sonic-level fast, but fast enough that you won't run far.

Wiz: It's not just raw power or speed. His body control is... unsettling. He can stretch limbs, contort his frame, and twist into unnatural shapes that make you wonder if he even has bones. He's more like a sentient shadow wrapped in skin than a living creature.

Boomstick: That's just the start. When we get into the big-league stuff—dimensional hopping and reality-warping—that's where he becomes a real threat. This guy can travel between dimensions like it's nothing. Earth, digital realms, his own corrupted hellscape—it's all accessible to him.

...

Blaze stood with arms folded, eyes narrowed as she absorbed the analysis. Her voice was calm, but carried a sharp edge. "He's not just violent—he's adaptive. That level of strength and bodily manipulation suggests he's beyond organic limits. We're dealing with something that doesn't follow natural laws."

Knuckles leaned against the wall, his fists clenched. "He fights like a nightmare. Crushing bones, twisting like a shadow, crossing dimensions... He's a threat to everything."

Tails watched the footage in silence, his eyes wide in curiosity. "He can overpower someone like it's nothing... and his speed—while not Sonic-fast—is still terrifying. I don't know how you outrun something that can bend its body like that."

He immediately pulled up data on his tablet, rapidly tapping across the screen. "I'm cross-referencing dimensional readings now. His ability to phase between realms and reshape himself means he could bypass physical defenses. We'll be fighting a phenomenon that possess reality-bending power."

Kit hugged his arms tightly, his voice barely above a whisper. "He's wrong... He's all wrong. The way he moves... the way he looks like Sonic but... isn't. It's like he's wearing a face he stole."

Whisper kept her gaze on the screen, every muscle tense. "We can't underestimate him. Everything about him is made to instill fear—and it works. But fear isn't enough to stop him. We need strategy."

Jewel shrank slightly, clutching her hands together. "He can cross dimensions and warp reality like it's a playground... How do you fight something like that? He's not supposed to exist..."

Tangle stepped beside her and gave her a reassuring nudge, her tone light but full of spirit. "Hey, don't start doubting now. Sonic's beaten worse than this—and I'm sure he's not going down without a fight. You got this, right?"

Sonic turned his head with a confident grin, giving Jewel a thumbs up. "No faker, no monster, no glitch is gonna beat us. I've facing those guys so ugly before. I'll take this one down too."

Amy looked at Sonic with a determined gaze. "You do realize we can fight that evil fake Sonic together, right?"

Sonic gave a small nod, his expression serious but calm. "Yeah, I know. But this is a Death Battle... it's one-on-one. I've got to handle this on my own."

Amy let out a sigh, reluctant but understanding. "Alright... but if that twisted hedgehog ever shows up in our world for real, we're facing him together."

Sonic smirked confidently. "Heh. Sure thing."

Surge stood off to the side, arms trembling slightly. Her eyes were locked on the screen, but her voice stayed defiant. "He's horrifying. I get it. But I'm not gonna let some warped knockoff of Sonic outdo me. He wants a fight? Then bring it on."

"Then you will die in a second." Shadow said, "You won't survive in a second before you could lift a finger at him"

"Shut it!", Surge yelled.

...

Wiz: Through possessed CDs, digital code, or even sheer force of will, X breaches the barriers between realities. And once he's in, it's game over. He can reshape his surroundings however he wants. Demonic plants, flaming skies, corrupted weather—he distorts the laws of physics and biology like an artist painting with nightmares.

Boomstick: And the way he takes people out? Soul-snatching. Yeah, that's his thing. He started rough—ripping souls out and leaving bodies mutilated—but now? He does it like a surgeon. Souls get sucked out clean, bodies still alive but empty... like unplugging the human brain from reality and leaving the lights on.

Wiz: He also doesn't just interact with the characters in the game—he interacts with you. He knows you're there. He talks to you, breaks the fourth wall, and uses the interface as another weapon. It's not just horror—it's psychological warfare.

...

Adventure time (Season 10 finale aftermath)

Finn stared at the screen, jaw slightly open as he struggled to process what he just heard. "Wait... he pulls out souls? From inside a game? That's... that's messed up. Like, mega messed up."

Jake's eyes widened, his stretchy limbs tightening around himself instinctively. "Man, that's not just some video game glitch. That's straight-up eldritch horror. He talks to you through the screen? Nope. Nope. That's nightmare stuff."

BMO trembled, his face flickering with static for a moment. "No thank you. I don't want anyone like that talking to me. I have games inside me... What if he tries to talk through me? I don't want to be haunted!"

Princess Bubblegum was furiously scribbling notes on her data pad, her eyes sharp behind her glasses. "He's breaching dimensional walls through digital code and sheer will. If he can manipulate matter and energy from inside a medium like a disk or screen, that makes him a form of hyper-reality parasite. If his abilities are accurate, he doesn't just break rules—he rewrites them."

Marceline floated nearby, her expression uneasy but not shaken. "I've seen my share of monsters. Real demons, void creatures, even vampires older than time. But this one... he's different. If Sonic's gonna fight him, he's gonna need more than speed."

Simon slowly nodded, his voice distant, as though recalling something terrible. "This power... it's like GOLB. Something that isn't supposed to exist, but does anyway. He distorts reality simply by being present. That kind of being doesn't fight fair—he doesn't need to."

Marceline looked at him, then back at the screen, her tone softer but certain. "Yeah, maybe. But Sonic's not just some hedgehog with shoes. He's fought those bad guys  before. Mad scientist like Dr. Egghead, robots, monsters, or anyone else want to piece of him. This freak's just another fake trying to break the world. And I think Sonic's got what it takes to shut him down."

...

Boomstick: And if the smiling Sonic face didn't creep you out, wait until he shapeshifts. He's got multiple forms—the fake Sonic, a twisted demonic version, and his true form: the VOID form. That's when things go full Lovecraft. You're not looking at Sonic anymore—you're staring into the eyes of a god-shaped black hole.

Wiz: In summary, Sonic.exe isn't just a fighter. He's a predator that treats dimensions like hunting grounds and reality like a toy. Fighting him means taking on a being with strength, speed, body control, dimensional access, soul manipulation, reality-warping abilities, and the knowledge that you are watching. And he likes that.

Boomstick: If your next opponent doesn't have multiversal defense, soul protection, and a therapy appointment lined up, they're going down. Hard.

Sonic.EXE: "I'm gonna get ya! I AM GOD!" *Evil laughs*

...

Everyone is very tense as the analysis concludes, and they prepare to watch the battle between Sonic and Sonic.Exe, also known as X. Upon hearing Sonic.Exe's final statement—claiming to be a god—religious individuals and deities alike view this as blasphemy, believing it outrageous that a demon would declare himself divine. Though they have never faced him before, his ability to travel across dimensions makes them wary, prompting them to prepare for the possibility of encountering beings capable of crossing into different worlds or universes. They understand they must be ready if they are ever to fight him.

As the battle between Sonic and Sonic.Exe is about to begin, the Death Battle hosts, Boomstick and Wiz, wish to add a few words before it starts.

...

---

Wiz: Now, before we can start, let's go deeper understanding about Sonic.Exe. He may look like Sonic, but this nightmarish entity is anything but a hero. In fact, he's a sadistic, malevolent being who thrives on pain, suffering, and complete psychological breakdown. What separates him from the real Sonic isn't just the glowing red eyes or the permanent, blood-slicked grin — it's the horrific atrocities he commits, especially against those closest to the real Sonic.

Boomstick: Yeah, he did very awful to his victims, starting with poor little Tails. That kid never stood a chance! See, Tails thought he was meeting his best friend again, all bright-eyed and cheerful, like always. But what he got instead was a living nightmare. Sonic.Exe lured him into a twisted version of Green Hill Zone — except this time, everything was dead. The grass, the animals, even the sky — all rotted and blood-stained. And then, bam, the fake Sonic shows up. He doesn't even let Tails fight back. He plays with him, hunts him down like a cat with a mouse, and when he's bored of the chase, he kills him... slowly. It's not just murder. It's torment. He tears Tails apart — body, mind, and soul — before claiming his spirit as a toy for his collection.

Wiz: And then there's Knuckles. A powerful warrior, brave and determined — but that doesn't matter to Sonic.Exe. The creature twists Knuckles' perception, driving him into madness. Knuckles tries to fight, but what do fists do against something that manipulates reality itself? Sonic.Exe taunts him, makes him see visions of his friends dying, and when Knuckles is mentally broken and utterly exhausted, the demon pounces. The final blow isn't even physical — it's emotional. Knuckles dies knowing he couldn't save anyone, not even himself. His soul, like Tails', is trapped in an endless loop of agony, reliving his failure for Sonic.Exe's amusement.

Boomstick: But it gets even worse with Eggman. Yeah, he's a villain in the normal world, but here? He's just another helpless human in the way. Sonic.Exe doesn't just kill him — he breaks him. Eggman gets to watch, powerless, as all of his technology fails, his plans crumble, and his last moments are filled with terror and regret. This ain't a battle — it's a slaughter. And when it's done, Sonic.Exe wears his soul like a mask, laughing in his voice just to mock him.

Wiz: Sonic.Exe doesn't stop there. He goes after everyone — Amy, Cream, Cheese, even Cream's mother, Vanilla. Amy tries to reason with him, still thinking there's a piece of Sonic left inside, but all she gets in return is pain. He uses her love against her, tearing her heart apart before taking her life in the most brutal, soul-shattering way imaginable. Cream and Cheese? They don't even understand what's happening. They're innocent, and that's what makes it worse. He plays with them, pretends to be their friend — then turns into the monster he is and snuffs them out like they're nothing. Vanilla watches her daughter die, powerless to stop it, before he rips her apart too.

Boomstick: And then it's just one big party for him. All those souls — all his so-called "friends" — trapped, twisted, screaming inside the void where he keeps them. He doesn't just kill them; he uses them like dolls. He'll bring back their voices, their faces, just to torment his next victim. All for his own sick entertainment.

Wiz: In the end, Sonic.Exe isn't just a corrupted version of Sonic. He's a monster born from darkness — a predator of the soul, who feasts on fear and despair, leaving behind nothing but a hollow world and echoes of agony.

...

Everyone is totally shocked, horrified, and eventually, angered of what Sonic.Exe has done to those victims in such brutal and cruel way. Sonic.Exe is a truly eldritch monster that wears the Sonic face just to enjoy himself of feasting the victim's souls that likes fear and despair from them. He leaves his dimension nothing but a hollow world and echoes of agony. Many victims he had slaughtered, the more he torturing them for his amusement.

...

Sonic The Hedgehog Universe (IDW)

Everyone is absolutely shocked, horrified, and enraged by what Sonic.Exe did to Tails and the others. Amy covers her mouth in horror at what the evil Sonic did to her so cruelty. Tails and Knuckles are stunned by the sight of their own deaths. The others each react differently to the terrifying events.

At Cream's house, Cream is crying uncontrollably, devastated by the fact that Sonic.Exe killed her. Cheese hugs her tightly to comfort her. Vanilla holds her daughter close, not wanting to ever lose her so tragically. It's heartbreaking for her to imagine her child being killed by that monster wearing Sonic's face, and she refuses to let that happen. Gemerl remains in protective mode, ready to shield Cream and Vanilla at all costs.

At the Chaotix Detective Agency, Vector is furious at the fake, demonic Sonic for killing Cream, Vanilla, and everyone he cares about. He's determined to make him pay for laying a finger on Cream or Vanilla, and he doesn't care if he dies trying—his instinct is to protect them no matter what. Charmy is terrified, and Espio tries to calm him down while remaining serious and resolute. He despises Sonic.Exe for his vile actions.

At Eggman's base, Dr. Eggman is initially shocked, then terrified, after witnessing his own brutal death at the hands of Sonic.Exe. Cubot and Orbot are paralyzed with fear, while Sage is in tears after watching her father die in front of her. Unexpectedly, Dr. Eggman pulls her into a hug to comfort her. No one says a word. Sage hugs her father in return, her tears remain flowing on her cheek.

But the one whose reaction stood out the most was Sonic the Hedgehog himself.

His eyes stayed glued to the screen, unable to look away as one by one, his friends were slaughtered—murdered by the twisted monstrosity that wore his face. Sonic.exe hunted them without mercy, stealing their souls and tormenting them for his own sick amusement. As he watched each death unfold, something deep within Sonic stirred—something far more intense than shock or grief. It was rage.

A burning fury surged through him, igniting a fire that he rarely let loose. His hands slowly closed into tight fists, trembling with restrained emotion. His once-calm expression darkened, lips curled as his jaw clenched tightly, teeth grinding together. His entire body shook with a mix of hatred and sorrow, his fury aimed at the abomination that dared to wear his image as a symbol of fear and torment.

"X..." Sonic muttered, his voice low and filled with venom.

Tails noticed the change immediately. His eyes widened as he cautiously stepped closer.
"S-Sonic?"

The fox's voice trembled slightly as he took a step forward. He could see Sonic's fists clenched, his arms shaking uncontrollably.

"He killed them," Sonic growled, his voice trembling with suppressed rage. "He killed all my friends... my family... that..."

Then, without holding back, Sonic erupted.

"THAT BASTARD!"

His scream echoed through the room as a violent surge of dark energy exploded around him, sending a wave of pressure that stunned everyone nearby. The air itself seemed to vibrate as the aura surrounded Sonic, changing him.

Right before their eyes, Sonic transformed—his fur darkened, his eyes burning with raw fury.

He had become Dark Sonic.

His dark aura surged outward with such intensity that it sent a powerful shockwave across the room, knocking everyone off their feet. It was like a violent windstorm, forcing them back with relentless force. As they struggled to rise, the overwhelming pressure from the aura continued to press against them, making it nearly impossible to stand.

"Gah! What the hell... is that?!" Surge shouted, trying to push herself up, only to be thrown back again by the force of the dark energy.

"I know what it is..." Shadow muttered, eyes narrowed. "It's Dark Sonic."

"The hell is Dark Sonic?!" Surge demanded, still bracing herself against the gusts of dark power.

"I didn't know Sonic had a dark side," Tangle said, trying to stand up, but the dark aura's wind kept pushing her down to one knee.

"Never mind that," Silver shouted over the roaring energy. "We have to calm him down!"

"But how?" Laloni cried out. "We can't even get close! And how did he get that form in the first place?"

Amidst the chaos, Amy slowly rose to her feet. Determined, she stepped forward against the current of the dark aura. With each step, she pushed through the force, her body trembling under the strain. But she didn't stop.

When she reached him, she gently placed her hand on Sonic's clenched fist. Dark Sonic turned toward her, his eyes wild with fury, and instinctively drew his arm back to strike—but he froze, his fist stopping mere inches from her face.

Amy didn't flinch. Her eyes were filled with sadness, pain, and understanding.

"Sonic," she said softly, tears beginning to fall, "it's me. I'm okay. We're okay. Please..."

She gripped his hand tighter.

"Don't let this rage consume you. I know how much you hate him—what he did was terrible. But we're alive. We're all alive. Please... come back. Come back for me."

Her voice broke as more tears streamed down her cheeks. It was a quiet, pleading cry from the one who knew him best.

Sonic's breathing slowed. The energy surrounding him began to settle. His form shimmered, and the dark aura dissipated as he returned to his normal self. He looked at her, eyes filled with emotion.

"Amy..." he whispered.

Then, without another word, he wrapped his arms around her in a tight embrace. Amy held him close in return, her tears falling freely as they stood together in the quiet stillness.

One by one, Tails, Whisper, Tangle, Knuckles, and Silver approached, surrounding Sonic and offering silent support. Their presence brought warmth and reassurance, a reminder to him that everyone is alive and never happen to be Sonic.Exe encounter.

Surge and Kit slowly stood at a distance, watching as Sonic returned to his normal form. But the memory of his transformation—of that overwhelming, furious aura—lingered in Surge's mind. She had faced many threats before, but what she saw in Dark Sonic was something far beyond what she expected. It wasn't just power—it was raw, unrestrained fury.

Something about it scared her more than even Sonic.exe.

She stared at Sonic, her thoughts racing.

"That black form... would I be dead if he hadn't held back?" she wondered. "If he really let loose... then I doubt even my electricity could stop him."

For the first time, she questioned not Sonic's strength—but her own limits.

...

Wiz: Alright the combatants are set, and we've run the data through all possibilities.

Boomstick: IT'S TIME FOR A DEATH BATTLE!

...

Everyone start voting on the fighters. Heroes in different worlds support Sonic the Hedgehog for his courageous deeds to save the world. The villains, which some of them, supporting Sonic.Exe aka X to defeat that blue hedgehog. Others are neutral in the voting. But mostly for everyone that wants Sonic to win against his demonic hedgehog-like entity that needs to be pay for his actions.

Sonic the Hedgehog Universe (IDW)

After Sonic had calmed down, his friends gathered around him, their presence a wall of support and determination. They were united, ready to back him as he prepared to face the fake version of himself—an impostor who had ruined countless lives in another dimension.

Tails stepped forward first, placing a reassuring hand on Sonic's shoulder. "I know you can do it, Sonic. I believe in you."

"Yeah," Knuckles added with a firm nod, giving a thumbs-up. "You've got our support, buddy."

"I believe in you, Sonic. I know you can win." Amy said.

Rouge smirked slightly, her tone playful. "Just make sure you win. Otherwise, I might find that missing emerald you've been looking for and keep it for myself."

Shadow said nothing at first, arms crossed and eyes fixed sternly on Sonic. Then he finally spoke, voice cold and serious. "Better not lose, blue hedgehog."

Silver gave a confident nod. "I'm sure you'll win. If I had to guess the future, I'd say the victory is yours."

"As Princess of the Sol Empire," Blaze said with composed strength, "you have my full support, Sonic the Hedgehog. Be sure to win, no matter what."

"Yeah! Show that faker who's boss!" Tangle cheered, full of energy.

Whisper gave a small but firm nod, her quiet presence a steady sign of trust.

"W-Well," Jewel stammered, "I... I'll put all my heart into supporting you. You always save the day."

Laloni, calm and collected, gave the same nod of silent encouragement as Whisper.

Sonic looked over to the side, where Kit and Surge stood apart from the group, silent. "So, guys," Sonic called out. "You gonna say something to support me?"

Kit jumped slightly, caught off guard. "Oh! Uh... yeah, I do," he mumbled shyly.

Sonic turned his eyes to Surge. "What about you, Surge?"

She crossed her arms and turned her head away with a scoff.

"Oh come on," Sonic said with a smirk. "You know I'm the only one training you so you can surpass me, right? Right?"

Surge let out an irritated groan before finally replying. "Fine! You better win, hedgehog. Beat that fake version of yourself! Because the only one who's allowed to beat you—is me. Got that?"

Sonic chuckled, that confident smirk returning to his face. "No problemo. I won't go down without a fight anyway."

...

Cream House

"I know Mr. Sonic will win. I just know he can!" Cream said, her little fists clenched with determination.

Her earlier fear had faded, thanks to her mother's gentle reassurance. Vanilla had calmed her down, soothing the lingering terror brought on by the cruel deeds of Sonic.exe. Beside her, Cheese fluttered in the air, letting out an enthusiastic cheer of support for Sonic.

"Indeed," Vanilla said softly, her tone calm yet firm. "I believe in him. Sonic will win."

Though she still felt concern over Cream witnessing something so dark, her faith in Sonic remained unshaken.

Gemerl stepped forward, his mechanical voice steady and direct. "Analysis: Sonic's capabilities indicate a high probability of victory against Sonic.exe. However, caution is advised if the entity demonstrates unpredictable power. Regardless, Sonic is projected to achieve success."

...

Chaotix Detective Agency

"Come on, Sonic! Show him who's boss!" Charmy shouted, buzzing with excitement.

Espio, ever composed, crossed his arms thoughtfully. "Although we still need to know why Sonic is disguised as the Phantom Rider... regardless, he's going to win. I'm sure of it."

"Yeah!" Vector chimed in with a clenched fist. "That's what separates him from that monster! Sonic's done nothing but good for people and this world—even if he's in disguise. But that thing wearing his face? All it brings is chaos and torment. I swear, I'd love to punch that twisted grin off him!"

He was referring, of course, to Sonic.exe—the one who hurt Cream and Vanilla as though they were just playthings. That alone filled Vector with rage.

"But you'd die!" Charmy exclaimed in alarm, wings fluttering anxiously. "I don't want to see you gone! What would the Chaotix Detective Agency be without you?"

"Whoa, whoa, easy, Charmy," Vector said, patting him on the head. "I'm not stupid enough to actually go fight that thing. Honestly, I'd leave that to Sonic."

Espio gave a small nod of agreement. "That's something we can all agree on."

...

Eggman Base

"So, uh... who are we supporting?" Cubot asked, tilting his head in confusion.

"Well," Orbot replied thoughtfully, "since we're technically Sonic's enemies, I suppose it would make sense to support that Sonic Ex—"

"No!" Dr. Eggman's sudden outburst echoed through the base, startling both Cubot and Orbot as they jolted upright in fear.

"I may hate that blue rodent," Eggman continued, his voice laced with anger, "but I'm far more concerned about that fake version. That thing is dangerous—to everyone. Especially to me."

He stood up from his chair, gesturing with conviction. "I may be an evil genius, but I have standards. And standards don't involve ripping people apart and tormenting them slowly. Even if he did kill me and steal my soul in that simulation, I don't care. The point is this: anyone who's going to destroy Sonic—it'll be me! I'm the one who will defeat him. I'm the one who will prove I'm superior. I want to see him grovel beneath my feet. I want to be the one who wins!"

Sage blinked in mild confusion. "So... you're siding with Sonic?"

"If I had to choose between them," Eggman declared, "then yes—I'd support Sonic over that twisted copy. So listen closely, Sonic the Hedgehog: don't you dare die out there. Stay alive... so I can destroy you myself and rebuild my Eggman Empire. No fake rodent is going to get the better of me."

...

Sonic.Exe Dimension

Within the twisted mockery of Green Hill Zone, Sonic.Exe stood before a screen, his jagged grin stretched with delight as he watched events unfold. His eyes glowed with cruel amusement, savoring the sight of Sonic preparing to face him. In his mind, it was already decided—Sonic would fall beneath his heel, just like all the others.

He had done it before. He would do it again.

As he watched, a darker thought stirred within him. The discovery of alternate dimensions—worlds where different versions of Sonic existed—had sparked a new desire. This dimension had grown dull, tiresome. But if he could create a gateway, if he could tear through the barriers between realities, he would spread his torment even further.

One world wasn't enough. He wanted them all.

For now, though, his attention remained on the Death Battle screen—on the Sonic he would soon face.

"Oh, Sonic..." he whispered with sinister delight. "I've already dealt with those fragile little mortals. I took their souls, shattered their spirits. I defeated them all. And now, I will defeat you too. Just you watch. Soon, everyone will know my fear."

A low, demonic laugh echoed through the broken landscape as Sonic.Exe's eyes gleamed with hunger for the chaos yet to come.

...

Burning Town - Mobius

Smoke and ash flow through the night sky as flames flicker and burn, a town reduced to a lifeless ruin. A single living being remains in the town, a blue Hedgehog walking through the ruins with a green gemstone in his hand.

As the Hedgehog finally comes to a stop, he turns around as his emerald, green eyes drift upwards, looking at a perfect copy of himself standing above him on the roof of a burning house.

X: You never cease to surprise me, impostor. I thought you wouldn't find me here.

Sonic: What can I say, I die hard. But I've finally found you, Faker.

X: Faker? I think you're the Fake Hedgehog around here. You're comparing yourself to me? Ha! You're not even good enough to be my fake!

Sonic: You...I'll make you eat those words!

The demonic replica of Sonic leaps down, his back and red eyes staring intently at the miracle gem in his rival's hand.

...

Sonic The Hedgehog Universe (IDW)

The group sat in tense silence, their eyes glued to the screen as the burning ruins of Mobius played out. Flames flickered and ash spiraled into the sky. The haunting atmosphere settled over them like a heavy blanket.

Lalolin's ears lowered as she clutched her arms. "That place... it looks like a nightmare. Is that what's left when he's done?"

Whisper didn't speak. Her eyes narrowed beneath her mask, watching as Sonic walked through the destruction, holding the green gemstone. Her wisps floated nervously around her. Whisper reached out and steadied them, her gaze fixed on the evil doppelgänger.

Silver's fists clenched. "That... monster. He's mocking Sonic, acting like he's the real one. It's sick."

"He's not just mocking him," Blaze added quietly, her tone ice-cold. "He's toying with him—taunting him like a predator playing with prey. That Sonic.Exe... it's beyond twisted."

Silver nodded again, voice lower this time. "But Sonic isn't backing down. Look at his stance—he's not afraid."

Tails leaned forward slightly, his grip tight on the edge of his tablet. "He's not just fighting a copy. He's fighting a reflection of everything he's not. He is a corruption of who Sonic really is."

Sonic, watching the scene unfold, narrowed his eyes. His smirk was gone—replaced with quiet resolve. "I've faced bad guys before in my time. But this guy... he's different. He wears my face like a mask, turns hope into fear. That's why I have to stop him."

He looked over at his friends. "This isn't just about me. It's about protecting everything he wants to destroy."

"You're not alone, Sonic," Silver said firmly. "We're with you. All the way."

...

X: You've brought me the Chaos Emerald. Soon, I shall use its power to bridge the gap between dimensions, and Earth will be mine.

Sonic tightens his grip on the Chaos Emerald as he readies himself in a battle stance, eyes locked on his doppelganger.

Sonic: You won't get away this time. There's only one real Sonic.

X: Oh, but there's always time for games. Let's play!

The two Hedgehog's take off, crossing each other's paths before they both start running through the burning ruins of the town side by side, and they lock eyes again.

Sonic: Before this is over, I'll show you the true power of Chaos!

Sonic leaps into the air and dives down, attempting to kick X in the back of the head, but X instead dodges the attack and leaps forwards, both Hedgehog's throwing a series of kicks out that counter each other. As they both leap backwards, both begin charging up a spin-dash before flying forwards and colliding with each other, the result launching both of them backwards. Sonic flips around and uses his Bounce Bracelet to bounce off the side of a wall, throwing a punch that X avoids by teleporting upwards, giving X a chance to grotestly extend his arm outwards and pin Sonic to the ground.

"Go! Go! Go! Kick that demon's ass!" Rigby shouted, bouncing wildly on the couch, fists pumping in the air.

"Hey! Stop jumping on the couch or you're fired!" Benson barked, glaring at him from across the room.

"Oh my," Pops gasped, clasping his hands together. "This battle is very intense. I just hope Sonic is alright."

"Ha! Fat chance," Muscle Man laughed. "I bet I could take him on."

"You?" Mordecai scoffed. "Please. You wouldn't last a second. He's way stronger than you."

"Sure I am!" Muscle Man shot back. "I can totally take that demon down!"

Skips, arms crossed and calm as ever, interjected. "No. Sonic.Exe is a reality-bending demon hedgehog. He could kill you the moment you try to swing at him."

"Sorry, Muscle Man," High-Five Ghost said, floating beside him. "I gotta agree with Skips on that one."

"Aww, man!" Muscle Man groaned, slumping back on the couch in defeat.

"Regardless," Benson said, arms folded tightly, "let's just hope that thing doesn't come anywhere near our park—or this world."

"I hope so," Mordecai muttered. "Last thing we need is some demon hedgehog showing up to steal our souls."

"Hmm... maybe we could prank him hard," Rigby suggested, rubbing his hands together with a mischievous grin.

Mordecai burst out laughing. "Man, your plan won't worked on him. You'll lose anyway."

"Stop talking!" Rigby shouted, clearly flustered.

...

X: You're not very good at this game, are you?

Sonic struggles against X's hold as the demon's other arm spikes out with obvious claws, before he smirks and begins to glow.

Sonic: Chaos Control!

In a flash of light, Sonic suddenly appeared behind X and threw out a roundhouse kick to the back of X's head, sending him flying through a building. Landing on the ground, Sonic started charging up and drawing energy into himself before standing back on his feet surrounded by the blue aura of the Light Speed Attack.

Sonic: Blast away!

Taking off in a blue rush of speed, Sonic slams into X and starts smashing him repeatedly, tossing X around through the blazing ruins before grinding him along the ground below them. X, letting out a growl, manages to overpower Sonic and throw him off with a kick before he starts floating in the air.

X: *Kefka's Laugh* You're so much fun to play with!

Leaping at Sonic, X suddenly teleported behind him just as the Blue Blur prepared a counterattack and slashed Sonic in the back with his claw before kicking him to the ground. Grinning, X then flew upwards before flying back down, tucking into a spin-dash to begin slamming into Sonic repeatedly.

As X shapeshifted his hand into razor-sharp claws to gut Sonic with, Sonic suddenly leaped upwards and straight at X, throwing a kick to deflect X's clawed hand before flipping around and axe-kicking him back into the ground. X hit the ground with a thud, but then teleported away when Sonic landed back down, Sonic running off after him to find X standing inside a burning and mostly torn down house next to a glowing computer.

X: *Kefka's laugh* Catch me if you can!

"Come on, Sonic! Beat his ass!" Surge shouted, her fists clenched as she leaned forward in anticipation.

Amy blinked in surprise. "Whoa, Surge. I didn't know you could be supportive."

Surge's face flushed slightly as she turned away. "J-Just... shut up, okay! He's only winning so I can beat him next. Nobody beats him but me!"

Amy let out a small sigh, shaking her head with a smile. "Oh well, if that makes you happy."

...

And just like that, X leaped into the glowing computer and abandoned the real world to return to his dimension. Sonic, not one to let an opponent get away, took the Green Chaos Emerald out again and leaped at the glowing computer.

Sonic: Chaos Control!

And in a flash of light, used Chaos Control to trail X back to his dimension. What Sonic finds, however, surprises him. A world devoid of life, a twisted recreation of the Green Hill Zone with the sky gray color, oceans of blood in place of water, and what appeared to be dozens of human souls transfigured into lifeless families of his friends. And X, standing above them all, a toothy grin on his face.

X: So many souls to play with, so little time. Wouldn't you agree?

Sonic: You monster!

...

Sonic The Hedgehog Universe (IDW)

Everyone stared at the screen, their expressions darkening with horror as Sonic.Exe revealed his trump card—summoning the tormented souls of those he had slain. Among them appeared are twisted image of Tails, Knuckles Amy, and everyone else. That sight alone made Sonic's fists tremble with rage. His aura began to flicker ominously, the darkness within threatening to surface once again.

But just before the transformation could take hold, Tails stepped beside him and gently placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Sonic, we're here for you," he said softly. "Don't let him get into your head. Remember—we're all alive. Right here with you."

Sonic looked at him, his anger slowly giving way to resolve. He gave a firm nod.

"Yeah. I know. And I'm going to make sure he pays for everything."

Tails nodded back with a small smile, full of trust and reassurance.

...

Sonic leaped up to attack X, but he suddenly yelped as his legs were caught by barbed wires, pulling him back to the ground with a thund. Pushing through the pain to stand up, Sonic grunted against as more wires ensnared his arms, and even neck, restraining him. X teleported in front of him, grabbing him by the cheeks.

X: Unfortunately for you, I don't particularly care to add a fake Sonic's soul to my collection. So, enjoy your torment, faker.

Teleporting away again, X laughed as the dozens of broken souls surrounded Sonic and began beating on, scratching, and clawing away at him. Sonic grunted as tried to fight back but was overwhelmed by the hordes and seemingly buried beneath them despite his cries.

X: Ha ha ha ha! Soon, I shall rule all!

As X continued to laugh to himself, his eyes suddenly widened as he felt a surging pulse of energy. He turned around, only to be taken aback by a golden explosion of Chaos Energy, the bright aura purifying the corrupt souls and releasing them from their prison as Super Sonic rose to the air, surrounded by the Seven Chaos Emeralds.

Super Sonic: Now I'll show you!

Super Sonic suddenly takes off in a bolt of light, slamming into X before knocking him into the air, then boosting forwards and slamming into him repeatedly from all angles.

...

Everyone is cheering loudly as Sonic transforms into his Super Sonic form. They are excited to see him win the Death Battle against Sonic.Exe. They believe Sonic will win this battle once and for all.

...

(Thunder, rain and lightning. Danger, water rising.)

Looping around X and charging at him again, Super Sonic spin kicks X to the ground and launches him into a crater, only to appear before X and kick him back into the air before teleporting in front of him and delivering a flying kick to the gut.

(Clamor, sirens wailing. It's such a bad sign.)

X flips through the air before stopping himself, flying forwards as a dark aura surrounds him and he punches Super Sonic, only for it to have little effect and he promptly gets punched back in response.

(Shadows, dark creatures. Steel clouds floating in the air.)

Super Sonic blitzes around X, who growls and starts shooting stray blasts of dark matter that each miss the golden hedgehog, before Super Sonic then suddenly appears behind X.

Super Sonic: Too slow.

X: What-!?

(People run for shelter. What's gonna happen to us?)

"Ha! Not so tough now, are ya?" Charmy cheered, buzzing excitedly around the room.

Espio gave a rare, satisfied smile, while Vector crossed his arms with a proud grin. Watching Sonic ascend into his super form filled them with hope. It was clear now—he had the strength to win. The tide had turned, and the demon hedgehog was about to face true power.

...

As X teleports back, he starts rapidly teleporting around Sonic and repeatedly laughs to try and psyche him out before going in to attack him from the back-

(All the steps we take, all the moves we make, all the pain at stake. I see the chaos for everyone. Who are we? What can we do?)

-Only for Sonic to spin around and punch X in the face, launching him back before barraging him with a series of lightspeed punches following by kicking him ahead, then charging a spin-dash up before he let loose, flying forwards and kicking X in the back to send him upwards before finally flying above him and smashing him back into the ground.

(You and I are the same in the way that we have our own styles that we won't change. Yours is filled with evil and mine is not, there is no way I can lose!)

Super Sonic: I've had enough! Who do you think you are anyways!?

As Super Sonic charges forwards at X, the devilish hedgehog roars out as his body shifts, his gloves and shoes exploding off to reveal more monstrous clawed appendages.

X: I AM GOD!

(Can't hold on much longer But I will never let go!)

Super Sonic and X charge into each other at lightspeed, clashing repeatedly as shockwaves ring out around them.

(I know it's a one-way track Tell me now how long this'll last!)

As the two trade blows at lightspeed, Super Sonic blocks one of X's attacks and unleashes a flurry of blows at his chest, but X manages to retaliate and slash Sonic away.

(I'm not gonna think this way, nor will I count on others!)

X presses his advantage and slashes at Super Sonic a few times before drawing dark energy in, laughing as he unleashes a darker and bloodier version of the Light Speed Attack onto Super Sonic.

(Close my eyes and feel it burn Now I see what I gotta do!)

As Super Sonic gets flung back, X goes flying after him, only for Sonic to dodge out of the way and fly around him.

X: Grrrrrr! Stay still!

...

Sonic The Hedgehog Universe (IDW)

Sonic smirked confidently, the energy of his super form radiating around him. "Heh, not a chance, faker. Now it's time to show you what I'm really capable of!" he declared, his voice filled with fierce determination as he launched forward to face his twisted counterpart.

...

Super Sonic: What's wrong, not having fun!?

(Open your heart...and you will see!)

Super Sonic appears in front of X and spikes him down with a kick before charging after him, and they both clash repeatedly yet again as they soar through the sky, causing explosions of blood to splash up from the sea below with each collision.

That is, until X catches Super Sonic's hand and laughs before unleashing an explosive blast of dark matter in his face to throw Super Sonic crashing into the ground below.

X: YOU WILL FALL INTO OBLIVION!

(Alright!!)

Super Sonic: Heh, I never fear the fall.

(If it won't stop, there will be no future for us Its heart's tied down by all the hate, gotta set him free!)

X roars as he raises his hands, creating a massive energy blast that it then throws out at Sonic, who's golden aura flares to life as he sticks his hands out and catches the blast of dark matter.

(I know it's a one-way track Tell me now how long this'll last!)

Sonic grunts as pushes back against the blast of dark matter, the ground beneath his feet beginning to give way as X laughs and shoots more dark matter at the attack to make it bigger.

(Close my eyes and feel it burn Now I see what I gotta do!)

X: NOW YOU WILL- ...what!?

Super Sonic: HIYAAAAAAA!!!

(Gotta open your heart dude!)

In a golden explosion of chaos energy, Super Sonic rockets into the sky as an Arrow of Light, destroying X's dark matter attack as he charges at the demented deity.

(Can't hold on much longer But I will never let go!)

Super Sonic: CHAOS CONTROL!

Drawing his hand back, Super Sonic throws a punch as he casts Chaos Control punching X hard enough to revert him to his original form, and the world around the begins to shift.

(I know it's a one-way track Tell me now how long this'll last!)

And take the form of the real Green Hill Zone. The world was no longer corrupt darkness, but light. Purified from X's control.

X: Wha...

(I'm not gonna think this way, nor will I count on others!)

Super Sonic: HAAAAAAAA!!!

But Sonic didn't give X the chance to react, instead he unleashed an explosive blast of Chaos Energy that X had no time to dodge.

(Close my eyes and feel it burn! Now I see what I gotta do!)

X yelled out as the Chaos Energy ripped his body to shreds, its positive aura destroying the very foundation of his being.

X: YOU...YOU BASTAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRR-

(Open your heart, it's gonna be alright! Yeah!)

But in an instant, before he had the chance to finish, his existence ended, erased from the very world of which he controlled, and only Super Sonic remained.

(Open your heart! Yeah!)

Sonic floated down, landing on the ground calmly as he looked at the purified world around him, the dozens of souls X had enslaved now free to float away to the afterlife. And Sonic left his now deceased doppleganger with one final truth.

(Open your heart!)

Sonic: You were never good enough to be my fake.

KO!

...

After the intense battle between Sonic and Sonic.Exe ended with the demonic copy's downfall and Super Sonic's triumphant victory, everyone in the multiverse erupted in cheers. Sonic the Hedgehog—the blue blur, the hero of his world—had won. The heroes celebrated joyously, while the villains groaned in disappointment at Sonic.Exe's humiliating defeat at the hands of his radiant counterpart.

In the IDW universe, Sonic's friends were beaming with pride and excitement.

"You did it!" Tails shouted, pumping his fist into the air.

"Yeah! That's how Sonic does it!" Tangle cheered. "He's amazing!"

"Indeed," Whisper said quietly, her eyes filled with relief.

"You did it. You actually did it!" Amy cried out as she rushed to hug Sonic tightly.

Sonic chuckled, arms wrapping around her in return. "Heh... yeah. I did great out there. Even if it was just a simulation battle."

"You did good, Sonic," Knuckles said with a firm nod. "You did real good."

"My, my," Rouge added with a smirk, arms crossed. "You handled your twisted faker like a pro."

"Hmph," Shadow muttered, his arms folded. "You did well. But I'm still not giving up on surpassing you."

"Hey!" Surge cut in, voice sharp with defiance. "I'm the one who's gonna surpass that blue hedgehog!"

She pointed a finger toward Sonic with fiery determination in her eyes.

Sonic turned toward her with his usual confident grin. "Looks like I've won. So, are you still planning to have me train you?"

"I haven't forgotten," Surge said firmly. "I'm still going to beat you when the time comes. You hear me, blue hedgehog?"

"I hear you loud and clear," Sonic replied with a chuckle. "Just don't start crying when I beat you during training. Even if you try to beat me."

"Oh, you're on, Sonic!" Surge snapped back, eyes burning with competitive fire.

"Yeah! Sonic wins!" Charmy buzzed through the air with excitement, flying around the room with glee.

Espio allowed himself a small smile, pleased by the outcome of the battle.

"Amazing work!" Vector added with pride. "You showed that freak what truly separates you from him. That's the Sonic the Hedgehog we all know and love."

...

Eggman Secret Base

"It seems Sonic has won the Death Battle, Father," Sage reported calmly, standing beside the doctor.

Cubot blinked in amazement. "Wow! I never thought he'd actually pull it off."

"Quite interesting," Orbot added thoughtfully.

Dr. Eggman let out a low, wicked chuckle as he leaned back in his chair.

"So, that twisted blue imposter has been crushed by the real deal," he mused. "I must admit, I didn't expect Sonic.Exe to fall to Sonic's super form so easily. But of course... with the Chaos Emeralds, anything is possible. If Sonic can wield their power, then perhaps I should retrieve them and upgrade Metal Sonic—turn him into Super Metal Sonic."

He paused, his grin widening.

"Or maybe... I'll develop a new kind of weapon. Something designed to neutralize or trap that demonic blue pest, should he ever crawl his way into my domain."

Sage tilted her head slightly as she processed the idea.

"While the probability of neutralizing or trapping Sonic.Exe using weaponized Chaos energy is difficult to calculate, the concept may hold potential if properly developed."

"Well said, Sage," Eggman replied with a nod. "Now then... bring me my blueprints. I've got an infernal hedgehog to prepare for."

"As you wish," Sage responded, already initiating the protocol.

...

The moment his defeat was revealed through the simulated Death Battle, Sonic.Exe dropped to one knee, his jaw hanging open in disbelief. Never once in his existence had anyone survived against him—let alone triumphed. And yet, that blue hedgehog, the very one he had mocked and imitated, had shattered that invincibility.

Rage boiled to the surface.

He let out a primal, guttural scream as he thrashed wildly, his claws slashing through the burning remnants of his twisted world. Beams of dark energy erupted from his hands, scorching the ground and obliterating anything in their path. His jagged, sharp teeth clenched tightly, trembling with fury.

"Sonic!" he bellowed, his voice echoing with malice. "You dare humiliate me with defeat? In front of every universe, every watcher, every pathetic being?"

He roared again, the dimension shaking with the force of his rage.

"You will pay for this shame! Now the other Exes will think I am weak. They will mock me, doubt me!" He slammed his claw into the ground, fracturing the terrain beneath him. "I will not stand for it! I will tear through the barriers of reality. I will build a gateway, break the multiverse apart if I must. And when I find you—"

His voice dropped, filled with venom.

"—I'll tear your soul from your body first. Then I'll destroy every single person you've ever loved. One... by one."

Just as he spat his final vow into the void, a voice cut through the infernal heat and chaos.

"I don't think so..."

Sonic.Exe froze. His eyes widened as he whipped around.

Standing in the distance, partially obscured by smoke and shadow, was a male figure unlike anything in this corrupted realm. The stranger's posture was firm, calm—unyielding.

He wore a black bolero hat that cast a shadow over his masked lower face. A high-tech, visor-like pair of red lenses covered his eyes, making him unreadable and imposing. His long, dark leather coat swayed with the breeze, revealing a sleek, gray armored suit beneath—designed not just for defense, but for agility and precision. Reinforced panels covered vital points, with a sturdy chest plate that pulsed faintly with inner energy.

His dark trousers were tucked neatly into combat-grade boots, and strapped securely to each thigh were two magnum pistols, ready to be drawn at a moment's notice.

"Who are you, and how did you get into my dimension?" Sonic.Exe snarled, dropping into a predatory stance. His claws gleamed in the crimson light, twitching in anticipation, ready to rip that masked man limb from limb.

The man didn't flinch.

"I am Ronin Vindicator," he answered coldly.

With a fluid motion, he unsheathed his blade—a sleek, crimson Enchanted Hōfuku VT9 High-Frequency katana. Its edge hummed with power, a faint ethereal glow running along the blade. He leveled it toward the demon.

"And you," he said firmly, eyes locked onto Sonic.Exe through the red tint of his visor, "aren't going anywhere. In fact, you die here."

Sonic.Exe let out a growl that twisted into a furious laugh.

"You dare threaten me, mortal? I've torn apart my victims. I've bathed in the blood of innocents with my own hands. You'll be nothing but screams!"

Then, without warning, they charged. Steel and corruption collided in a violent flash. Sparks exploded from their first clash, echoing across the ruined, burning landscape of the twisted Green Hill Zone. Their battle shook the dimension itself, blades and claws clashing with relentless speed. Sonic.Exe fought like a rabid beast, overwhelming and chaotic. But Ronin Vindicator moved with precision—focused, controlled, and unshakable.

Each strike of his katana carved through the air with intent to end this nightmare.

And though the outcome remained uncertain, one thing became clear: whoever Ronin Vindicator is, he has able to keep him from planning to intervene to other dimensions if he's going to make a gateway.

For now, the Sonic of the IDW universe—and the countless lives across the multiverse—were safe.

...

Boomstick: Woah! Talk about Super Sonic Style!

Wiz: This was an interesting fight to look at. As far as Creepypasta characters go, X seems like he would be impossible to defeat when he has the home field advantage. He could physically match base form Sonic perfectly, and his reality warping gave him a potentially huge versatility advantage.

Boomstick: But X lacked one major thing, experience. He's never really fought anyone, just slaughtered people after mentally tormenting people, meaning despite the fact he had all of Sonic's abilities, he wouldn't be able to use them to their fullest extent.

Wiz: Given Sonic has resisted mental attacks before and his spirit held up from six months of torture, X likely wouldn't be able to mentally break Sonic, at least not fast enough to be able to avoid a direct fight.

Boomstick: Plus, while they both obviously knew a lot of the abilities the other would be using, X's creepy as fuck slenderman arms aren't that much weirder then Chaos's tentacles. Sonic's fought shapeshifters before after all. But let's be real, Sonic's biggest advantage was obviously his Super Form.

Wiz: Not only did Super Sonic widen the stat gap to a degree where X wouldn't be able to keep up with Sonic's strength of speed, Sonic's unrestricted use of Chaos Control shut down tons of X's options. Sonic could escape X's traps via teleportation or time stop, while his positive energy aura could purify X's corrupted drones and even X himself.

Boomstick: Plus, Sonic can time travel! He could have just given X the told "Time huh"-

*SLAP*

Boomstick: OW!

Wiz: No. Don't.

Boomstick: Fine fine.

Wiz: It's also important to specify that while X seemingly has dimensional control of his entire dark matter universe, his ability to control the fabric of his world isn't much different than the capabilities of other villains felled by Super Sonic like Infinite, the Egg Salamander, the Time Eater, or Solaris.

Boomstick: If Sonic could handle them no problem, he sure as hell wouldn't have a problem with X. Heck, given the games have shown Chaos Control to be capable of minor reality warping, Sonic could probably just un-do any reality warps X used against him. And let's be real, X never stood a chance against Sonic in the real world. He can barely keep up with him in his dimension, what chance would he have had when limited on his powers, or even stuck in a plush toy form?

Wiz: This is one of the awkward things about comparing a Creepypasta character like Sonic.EXE to Sonic himself. Creepypasta's are meant to be scary to us as normal humans, so how he's presented to us is going to be based on making us scared more than anything else. But in Death Battle, we have to compare these two characters directly, meaning that while X may come off as godlike and invulnerable in the context of his Creepypasta, he just didn't stack up against Sonic himself.

Boomstick: All it took was a Sonic Boom, and X was EXEcuted.

Wizard: The winner is Sonic the Hedgehog.
