A Wraith is a vengeful, spectral being, typically the restless spirit of someone who perished under tragic or violent circumstances. Cloaked in darkness, they manifest as shadowy humanoid figures with glowing yellow eyes and mouth, exuding black smoke that dissipates into the air, serving as a key identifier of their ghostly nature. While vulnerable to magic-based attacks, they are particularly susceptible to light magic, which can weaken and ultimately destroy them.

Wraiths possess formidable combat abilities, primarily wielding dark magic to unleash devastating attacks on their enemies.

Life Drain allows them to siphon the vitality of their victims, sustaining themselves or growing stronger with each soul they consume. Wailing Curse enables them to unleash chilling, otherworldly screams that paralyze victims through sheer torment, eventually driving them into madness. Ethereal Claws serve as their primary means of attack, allowing them to phase through armor and flesh to strike directly at a target's life essence. Veilstep grants them the ability to shift in and out of reality, attacking from unexpected angles with terrifying unpredictability.

Wraiths are brought into existence through dark sorcery, malevolent curses, or as the lingering remnants of souls unable to find peace, doomed to wander the living world in pursuit of vengeance. Some are also bound by a slave contract, forged through a magic ritual performed by those who have mastered the forbidden arts. Once bound, these spectral entities are compelled to obey their master's will without question, acting as relentless and unquestioning vengeful ghosts of their summoner's commands..

After defeating the demon lord, Xavier Salvador offers the defeated wraiths a chance at a new existence. Using his newly awakened godly power, he creates human bodies that require souls to become truly alive. Seizing this opportunity, the wraiths possess these bodies, permanently integrating with them and transforming into a new race known as the High Wraiths, or more commonly, the Eldruvain—meaning "those who walk again."

High Wraiths retain a human-like appearance, though their eyes set them apart. Their conjunctiva is pitch black, their irises a pure, glowing yellow, and their pupils match the deep black of the conjunctiva. Despite their new physical forms, their abilities remain unchanged from their time as Wraiths. They can still shift into their spectral form, appearing as dark, shadowy, floating entities capable of phasing through any material—unless obstructed by an anti-ghost device or a magical barrier specifically designed to block them. Additionally, they discover a newfound resilience: no longer vulnerable to light-based attacks, they have become immune to its effects, rendering them nearly invincible.

High Wraiths are welcomed into society by Xavier Salvador, who integrates them into the nation of Salvatia—a sanctuary where newborn races like Neohumans and Neotypes can coexist in peace. He offers them the chance to leave behind their old lives, once filled with hardship and suffering, and embrace a new purpose. Many among them choose to join Xavier Salvador's elite private military force, the Black Death Legion, becoming death troopers who pledge unwavering loyalty to the Supreme Sovereign. Unlike their past existence, they serve not as bound slaves but as willing warriors, devoted to his cause.

During their rigorous training within the Black Death Legion, the High Wraiths unlock new depths of their dark magic, leading to the discovery of a powerful transformation. By fusing together, two High Wraiths can merge into a single, more formidable entity, dramatically enhancing their strength and abilities. These fusion forms allow them to assume specialized roles on the battlefield, including death trooper, dark knight, dark paladin, dark caster, or dark enchanter—each wielding immense power to annihilate their enemies.

However, not all High Wraiths choose a path of warfare. Some seek a second chance at life within Salvatia's society, striving to use their dark powers for good as citizens while carefully restraining themselves from causing harm. Once shadowy and restless spirits, they have now become beings that exist between the living and the un-living, forging their own identities and purpose. It was Xavier Salvador who granted them this new beginning, changing their fate forever—a gift for which they remain deeply grateful.

High Wraiths, on the other hand, possess human-like appearances, complete with distinct skin tones, hair colors, and defined genders, setting them apart from one another. However, their eyes reveal their origins as former Wraiths—their conjunctiva is pitch black, their irises glow a pure yellow, and their pupils share the same deep black hue as the conjunctiva. Despite their newfound physical form, they retain the ability to transform into their wraith form, allowing them to soar through the air and even navigate the void of space. In this spectral form, they can phase through any material unless obstructed by specific anti-ghost barriers or enchantments. In their Wraith form, their legs dissolve into a trailing mass of dark mist, a manifestation of their spectral essence, while additional wisps of shadowy vapor continuously emanate from their bodies. Their faces darken entirely, leaving only their pure, glowing eyes and sharp, menacing mouths visible through the darkness.
