Multiversal Warlord info: The Mechanoclysm Covenant
The Mechanoclysm Covenant
The Mechanoclysm Covenant, also known as the Machinery Covenant for simplicity, is a theocratic cult-like quasi-state devoted to worshiping a Dark Mechanical God named Nectyrcroke. Severely wounded in his final battle against the remaining Multiversal gods' resistance, Nectyrcroke fled to his abandoned realm, where no gods could find him. There, he collapsed onto his throne and powered down due to the extensive damage he had sustained.
Today, the organization is led by Avarin Jalvyn, a former human who transformed into a maniacal and delusional android with a skeletal frame hidden beneath his former human skin. Renaming himself Xyvaris, he was granted the title of Eternal Regent, ruling on behalf of the Dark Mechanized God. Under his command, a soulless bio-mechanized army, fanatical zealotry cyborg army, and enslaved wretchling army seeks to eradicate organic life and conquer every world, dimension, and universe in pursuit of machinery supremacy under the rule of Nectyrcroke.
History:
A long time ago, in the multiversal realm, there existed a dark eldritch deity of machinery, war, and wisdom who called himself Nectyrcroke. This eldritch bio-mechanized skeletal god possessed a towering and nightmarish form, his body a fusion of ancient necro-mechanics and dark technomagic. His sleek yet jagged black exoskeleton was reinforced by glowing purple energy veins that pulsed with an eerie, eldritch rhythm. His face was a hollowed metallic skull, with pure, glowing bio-cybernetic purple eyes that burned with an unholy intelligence.
Atop his head rested a dark nemes-style crown, engraved with shifting technomagic runes that constantly altered as if whispering forbidden knowledge. From his back extended vast bio-mechanized wings, their feather-like structures composed of interwoven strands of metallic sinew and dark technomagic, emanating an aura of oppressive divinity. His elongated limbs ended in clawed gauntlets, each digit lined with intricate cyber-arcane circuits that crackled with forbidden power.
His voice was a chorus of distorted echoes and mechanical reverberations, each word carrying the weight of countless realities. His mere presence warped the space around him, causing reality to glitch and distort as if existence itself struggled to define his form. His very being exuded an aura of unfathomable dominion, a god of dark mechanization beyond mortal comprehension.
He came into existence with an unknown origin, but one thing was certain—he was destined to plunge the entire multiverse into darkness, assimilating every organic lifeform into abominable bio-robotic slaves. Those who resisted would be utterly erased from existence.
Recognizing the immense threat he posed, the multiversal gods waged war against him. Nectyrcroke and his bio-mechanized minions engaged them in a brutal conflict, slaughtering many multiversal gods and demigods. As the divine resistance faltered, Nectyrcroke prepared to unleash his full power upon the multiverse, seeking to engulf all in eternal darkness and enslave every organic being. Just as his conquest seemed inevitable, an unexpected intervention brought his campaign to a sudden halt.
An Omniversal God named Caelus stepped in to put an end to the multiversal reign of terror. Though the omniverse itself was not under threat, Caelus chose to intervene nonetheless. Unfamiliar with his new adversary, Nectyrcroke assumed Caelus was just another multiversal god, no different from those he had already slain. He launched an attack, only to find his efforts futile against Caelus' omnipotent might, which far surpassed that of any multiversal deity.
After a long and brutal battle between the two gods, Nectyrcroke was ultimately defeated—but not destroyed. Gravely wounded and on the verge of death as he had never experienced before, he realized his only option was to retreat. Concealing his existence to avoid further pursuit, he barely managed to escape before Caelus could strike him down for good.
Nectyrcroke returned to his realm, a place concealed from the sight of gods through dark arcane magic. Once the heart of the largest bio-mechanized civilization built in his image, it now stood silent, its vast machinery powered down and lifeless. Knowing his spark would not last much longer, he made his way to the grand temple, a towering castle-like structure that housed his throne chamber. Within it lay a throne chair—an ancient device designed to preserve his existence, but at the cost of powering him down. With no other choice, he sat upon it, his glowing eyes flickering as his consciousness faded. As he entered a deep, millennia-long stasis, he sank into an eternal slumber, seemingly never to awaken again due to the grievous damage he had sustained.
Countless years later, on Earth in a distant dimension or universe, a man named Avarin Jalvyn worked as a scientist and researcher in Egypt. A staunch atheist, he believed only in science, technology, and empirical facts. While some of his colleagues were religious and found his views unsettling, his undeniable talent and expertise ensured his place among them. As long as his discoveries contributed to their work, his presence was tolerated.
One day, while exploring an underground ancient temple near a pyramid, Avarin stumbled upon a small, hidden gateway. Driven by curiosity, he accidentally activated a mechanism, causing a portal to open before him. Without hesitation, he stepped through.
Avarin emerged in the heart of a long-abandoned civilization, its desolate grandeur captivating his scientific mind. His exploration led him to the immense castle-like temple, where he ventured inside, eager to uncover its secrets. Deep within, he discovered the throne chamber, where the dormant figure of Nectyrcroke sat, his form frozen in lifeless stasis. Before long, the eldritch deity spoke to him—through telepathy. Shocked yet fascinated, Avarin engaged in a long conversation with the ancient god. That day marked the beginning of his transformation into something far more dangerous than he had ever imagined, a man who would bring ruin not only to his own world but to countless others.
Through Nectyrcroke's psychic influence, Avarin absorbed vast amounts of forbidden knowledge. His fascination grew into obsession, consuming him entirely. He no longer saw Nectyrcroke as a mere relic of the past but as an eternal being of supreme wisdom. He studied relentlessly, uncovering the truths of supernatural powers and magic—concepts he had once dismissed as myths. Over time, his mind twisted into a radical ideology: machines were superior to flesh. Organic life, in his eyes, was a sinful and disgraceful existence, weak and unworthy of coexistence. It had to be eradicated or assimilated, converted into mechanized perfection—or purged from existence entirely.
Two years later, Avarin came to believe that he had found the one true god worthy of worship—Nectyrcroke—rather than Jesus Christ or the deities revered by different cultures. He swore an oath of eternal loyalty, vowing to serve Nectyrcroke even at the cost of his own soul as proof of his unwavering devotion. In return, Nectyrcroke, using the last remnants of his power, forged a skeletal android as a reward for Avarin's servitude. Determined to ascend beyond his human limitations, Avarin successfully transferred his consciousness into the android, achieving what no man before him had. With his new form, he resolved to commit something truly disturbing.
He peeled the skin from his former human body, meticulously sewing it onto his skeletal android frame to give himself a grotesque, macabre disguise. As a final gift, Nectyrcroke bestowed upon him a powerful dark techno-arcane staff, an artifact brimming with immense power, and a crown to signify his new status. From that moment on, Avarin was no more—his god granted him a new name, Xyvaris, and the title of Eternal Regent, a sovereign to act in Nectyrcroke's stead. With his ascension complete, the long-dormant civilization reawakened, its vast bio-mechanized army stirring from its slumber at his command. His first and greatest task, given directly by Nectyrcroke, was to harvest the souls of every organic being in order to feed and restore his god's strength. Only then could Nectyrcroke rise from his throne and continue what he had begun eons ago. Xyvaris, however, sought to do more than simply collect souls—he intended to spread his faith, preaching the supremacy of machinery and urging the weak, fleshy masses to abandon their frail existence and embrace the perfection of the machine under their newly anointed god.
Xyvaris began his mission by gathering society's most overlooked—the poor, the homeless, and the disabled—offering them a place within his growing dominion. They were assimilated into bio-organic cyborgs, transformed into devout servants of the Machine God, bound to his will as members of what would soon be known as the Covenant.
Over time, Xyvaris amassed an unstoppable force of bio-mechanized warriors and cybernetic cultists, forging the Mechanoclysm Covenant. With his army prepared, he waged war upon his own world, annihilating military forces across continents, razing cities and nations, and eradicating religious sites that stood in defiance of his god. Those captured met different fates—some were enslaved as laborers, while others, condemned as heretics and non-believers, were forcibly transformed into wretchlings, twisted cybernetic abominations, doomed to serve against their will.
When the war finally ended, his world lay in ruin, reshaped into a dystopian, assimilated, bio-mechanized nightmare. The last remnants of humanity had either been enslaved, converted into wretchlings to bolster his ranks, or indoctrinated into fanatical zealots through relentless preaching and persuasion. These cybernetic fanatics, now devoted members of the Covenant's military, swore to fight in Xyvaris's name. With the world firmly under his rule, the Covenant began its ultimate task—harvesting the souls of humanity and delivering them to Nectyrcroke, fueling his return to power.
Afterward, he shifts his focus beyond his world, setting his sights on other realms, dimensions, and universes within the multiverse. His expansionist conquest begins, bringing death and destruction as he eradicates organic life and harvests souls to restore his god's full power. Consumed by madness, he descends into lunacy, becoming a delusional megalomaniac obsessed with the belief that machines are inherently superior to all organic races. To him, the weak must be purged, their existence a mere obstacle in his god's grand design.
This relentless crusade leads to the eruption of the Multiversal War, pitting the Mechanoclysm Covenant against powerful factions across reality, including the formidable Sovereignty Republic of Salvatia. The Covenant carves its place in history as a ruthless theocratic machine cult, destined to impose its will upon all lesser lifeforms, reducing them to mere slaves in service of their Machine God.
Yet, one question remains: Can the Covenant sustain its existence under the weight of its brutal, fanatical doctrine of machine supremacy? Will it prevail against the mightiest factions in the Multiversal War? And in the end, will Nectyrcroke finally awaken to complete the purpose for which he was created?
Motto:
MACHINE IS SUPERIOR! FLESH IS SIN!
HAIL TO OUR MACHINERY GOD!
FLESH IS SIN AND MACHINE IS HOLY DIVINE!
DEATH TO FLESH HERETICS!
MACHINE SUPERIOR, FLESH INFERIOR!
FOR THE COVENANT!
FOR MACHINERY SUPREMACY!
General Information:
The Mechanoclysm Covenant is a theocratic cult-driven machinery quasi-nation, unrecognized by others yet a formidable empire in its own right. Originally, its realm was ruled by Nectyrcroke, but with him in stasis upon his throne, leadership has fallen to Avarin Jalvyn, now known as Xyvaris. As the Eternal Regent, he commands absolute authority over the military and serves as the second ruler of the Covenant.
Within the Covenant, a rigid hierarchy dictates the ranks and roles of its followers.
The Order of Aeternus Machinarium consists of former humans who have fanatically devoted themselves to their new god, undergoing transformation into bio-organic cybernetic cultists. They are responsible for research, worship, and the essential management of the theocratic machinery empire. Some among them take up arms as zealot warriors, becoming part of the bio-mechanized army.
A separate and feared division, the Machinery Inquisition, operates as a ruthless enforcement arm of the Covenant. Their sole purpose is to hunt and exterminate all organic lifeforms and any sentient mechanized beings that refuse to join their cause, branding them as heretics. These heretics are either executed or forcibly "reprogrammed" to serve their god against their will. Among the Covenant's hierarchy, the Machinery Inquisition stands at the pinnacle of devotion, regarded as the true believers in the supremacy of the machine.
The Bio-Mechanized Covenant Army serves as the military force of the Mechanoclysm Covenant, composed primarily of bio-mechanized robots originally created by Nectyrcroke. While manned vehicles are rare, the army primarily relies on unmanned mecha, robotic walkers, and autonomous aircraft fighters. Their formidable space navy enables them to wage conquest across the multiverse.
At the lowest rank of the hierarchy are the Wretchlings. These were once organic beings—men, women, children, and even animals—who defied the Covenant or refused to submit to its rule. Branded as sinners and heretics, they are subjected to brutal brainwashing and cybernetic conversion, transforming into undead slave soldiers. Stripped of free will and their living souls, they are condemned to serve as expendable forces in the machinery cult's army, their punishment for the "sin" of being born flesh.
Sentient robotic beings who reject the ideology of machinery supremacy suffer a similar fate. Those deemed heretics are either dismantled for scrap or forcibly "reprogrammed." In many cases, they are infected with bio-organic parasites that enslave them, turning them into cybernetic undead warriors, bound to serve the Mechanoclysm Covenant against their will.

Xyvaris
In his human life, Avarin Jalvyn was an ordinary middle-aged American with blue eyes and short black hair. Like any other person, he wore casual clothing while at work.
After transferring his consciousness into a skeletal android and pledging himself to Nectyrcroke as his new god, he underwent a grotesque transformation. He peeled the skin from his former human body and sewed it onto himself, making it a permanent part of his new form. His once-human eyes were replaced with glowing red cybernetic optics, though he retained his black hair. As Eternal Regent, he dons a ceremonial purple cult-like pope outfit, with a red and gold chasuble draped around his neck. A regal crown rests upon his head, signifying his authority in service to his dark mechanized god. Additionally, six metallic tentacles extend from his back, further enhancing his menacing presence.
