THE BEGINNING OF A GREAT WAR pt 1

I have decided to post the story of how the war between the Sinners and the flowers started.

Long ago in, two young children played together. They both sat in a field of flowers, happily telling eachother jokes and laughing.

The younger of the two decided they should play tag. The older one agreed.

They chased eachother around the field but soon strayed into the lush forest. They didn't notice how deep they were in the forest until the younger one almost ran right into a tree. They both looked around and started to head in a random direction, hoping to find home. Neither of them payed attention to where they were stepping.

Big mistake.

The younger one fell straight into a deep and dark hole. The older one tried to grab the younger but missed by a hair.

The older one started to weep at the loss of their friend and that they were now all alone.

Until their friend shouted out if the hole that they were fine.

Without thinking the older one jumped into the hole too. They closed their eyes, expecting to land on the hard ground. But instead landed on lush undergrowth.

They opened their eyes to see their friend with a smile on their face. The older hugged their friend, happy to see that they were alright.

(Okay this is a one shot now. The younger one's name is.... let's just call the Bab Cloud*idk* and the older one's name is Fluff)

Cloud's POV

I pulled away from the hug and looked around the space we were in. The hole had lead to a dark and deep cave. I opened my arms wide and smiled.

"Look at all of this, Fluff! This could be our new secret hangout spot!" I giggled.

I looked back at my friend and saw the uncomfortable look on their face.

"Maybe... but how do we get out?" They asked.

I thought for a moment before I continued to walk forward, deeper into the cave.

I felt Fluff grab onto my arm as we continued to walk. Soon, we found a rigid part of the cave's wall that made perfect stairs.

The stairs lead to an opening in the cave's ceiling. We climbed the stairs, slowly. After we finally made it to the top, we climbed out of the hole. We were now in a huge and lush forest!

"Wow! Look at all of this, Fluff! It's official! This is our new hangout spot!" I laughed.

Fluff looked uncomfortable.

"I like the flower field better. It was more welcoming and not so sinister." He said

I tilted my head in confusion. "But it's so cool here!... You're just mad that you didn't come up with it. Aren't you?" I said, looking at the ground.

"What? What makes you think that?" Asked Fluff.

"Because you're always the one to decide what we do! And if you don't come up with it you turn it down!" I argued.

Fluff just growled and turned away from me. He started walking on a path that lead to a less lush opening. I reluctantly followed.

After walking for a while we came upon our flower field. Fluff stood in the middle of it while I stood at where the forest met the field. It looked like Fluff was about to say something but was interrupted by starting to shake and rumble.

Before I could react the ground began to split. I just stared. Suddenly I felt myself being pulled forward into the flower field. It was Fluff.

They took my hand and we both ran away from the splitting part in the Earth.

*Time skip because fuq writing I've been working on this for days*

No one's POV

It's been years since the earthquake. The split was so wide that if you stood at the edge of the flower field you wouldn't be able to see the forest.

It's also filled up with water from the rains and the sea. Fluff and Cloud still have a rocky relationship. But they thought it was getting better. Until one day.

As the days went on, Fluff started noticing how different Cloud and them were. So Fluff decided to confront Cloud as they stood at the crack that formed years ago and filled with water.

"Hey Cloud? I'm just going to get straight to the point. Why aren't you... Normal? Good?" I said, immediately regretting the words.

"What the hell does that mean?!" Cloud immediately spat out.

"I just mean, you just don't act.. right! At first it was just that creepy cave but than you started, what's it called, shipping?" Fluff said.

"So have you!" Cloud argued back.

"Yes, I have. But I've done it right. You always come up with these weird 'ideas' for them! And you keep stealing my friends and filling their heads with your horrible ideas. You need help! And so does all of the people you've tricked into your sinful ways." Fluff was done being nice.

"Tricked? I didn't force them to be like me they chose to! You're just to selfish to see that! You think everyone should be like you! Because you're so perfect!" Fluff tried to say something but Cloud kept going. "I'm the bad guy right? Well I guess that makes sense. I'm the rebel in your little kingdom." Cloud finished.

Fluff took a moment to decide their next words.

"Well, what do you with rebels? You punish them." Without another word Fluff pushed Cloud into the rushing water, watching as it rushed their "friend" away.

Cloud's POV

The cold water dragged me under almost immediately. I tried to fight but I kept getting pulled under again and again. After a while I stopped fighting. I was so far out in the water that I couldn't see the flower field or the beautiful forest.

I felt tears leave my eyes.

'I'm going to die and no one will notice. No one will find me. I'm alone.'

I let the water pull me under for the final time.

???'s POV

I was doing my regular patrol across the newly form river. All if a sudden I saw a human cub floating lifelessly down the river. I folded my wings against my scales do I fell faster. I stretched my claws out and swooped up the cub, flying back into the sky.

The poor thing was freezing cold and limp. I flew back in the direction of my forest. The others might not approve but they won't just let some poor cub die either. I just hope I wasn't too late.

Cloud's POV

I felt warmth. It was so comfortable. I cuddled into it for more.

"Good morning, little one. Try to get some more rest. I'm sure you have a lot of questions but they can wait." I heard a voice say.

Right now I didn't care. I just wanted to sleep. So I did.
