Chapter 4: The Date

It was a five star restaurant. Hoseok had hoped that they would go to a not-so-famous restaurant as he likes to be between commoners. It would always keep him down-to-earth. But, he wasn't complaining.

They had entered the restaurant and were greeted by the door opener. They bowed at him in return and went inside the restaurant. The manager of the restaurant had came out to welcome the famous singer J-Hope. He took them to a table which had a nice view of the city and it was very breath-taking as they were on the 30th floor which was reserved for the famous stars that came here.

"Did you love the restaurant?" Huesung asked Hoseok as settled down on the sofa. They sat opposite each other so they can talk and look at each other comfortably.

"Yeah, it's amazing. The view is nice too." Hoseok said and smiled at Huesung. They chatted for awhile about their favorite food, their favorite color, their favorite drink etc. A waitress came to their table and smiled at them. She gave them a basket full of crispy cheese balls served as starters.

The two resumed in their conversations and till far the date was going very good.

"So you said you loved sprite, but you have always did the ads for Coca Cola. How Ironic." Huesung said and they laughed at that.

"Huesung, what do you do for a living?" Hoseok asked him.

"I work in the bank and I am in the Shares and profit department." Huesung said and Hoseok looked at him, eyebrows raised.

"Aren't these two different departments?" Hoseok asked and Huesung nodded.

"I am given these two departments to look after." Their conversation was cut off by the same waitress arriving again.

"Here are the menus. I will come back after 20 minutes to take your orders." The waitress said and gave the two a nice laminated menu book. Then she bowed and went away.

The two opened the menu and looked at the dishes written. The names of the dishes were so new to Hoseok that he was confused on what to order as he had nothing mentioned in the menu ever eaten or ever heard of besides some things which he ate in one of his trip to America.

"There are new things that I haven't ever heard of. Except some things." He told Huesung and he chuckled.

"That's because when I made reservations they asked me what type of food I'd like and I told them that I'd like Turkish menu." Huesung explained.

"Oh, that's why some of the things are familiar while some aren't." Hoseok said. After a while Hoseok put down the menu and Huesung soon followed him. They stared at each other and then averted their gaze once they heard the loud voice of thunder. They simultaneously looked outside from the window and were greeted by rain.

"It's raining so heavily." Hoseok and Huesung nodded.

"I hope it won't be a big hassle on the streets." Huesung and they both agreed.

"Shall we take some pictures?" Huesung asked Hoseok after awhile of rain-gazing who nodded. Huesung took out his IPhone and stood up from his seat. He rounded the table and sat on Hoseok's side of the couch and raised his phone. They both smiled at the camera and Huesung took the picture.

"It is amazing." Hoseok commented when they looked at the picture.

"We should take some pictures beside the waterfall. You look very pretty and your outfit suits you so a picture is a must." Huesung said Hoseok nodded and they both stood up. They made their way towards the small waterfall which had many blue lights illuminating it. Hoseok sat down on the rock beside the waterfall ever so gracefully and Huesung took many pictures from different angles. A staff saw them take pictures and went towards them.

"Sir, why don't you go sit beside him and I will take a picture of you two." The staff member said once he approached the couple. Huesung nodded and gave his phone to him. He joined Hoseok on the rock. They made very cute poses and the staff member took their pictures.

"Huesung, I am feeling hungry." Hoseok whispered in Huesung's ear and Huesung nodded. They thanked the staff member and made their way towards the table. He sung raised his hand and called the waitress to the table.

"Are you ready to order?" She asked and the two nodded. Huesung ordered first and Hoseok ordered after him.

They talked again about their childhood memories and their embarrassing moments. Hoseok mentioned that one time where an army shouted his name so loud that it was heard throughout the hall and till this day he remembered it and laughed at the memory.

"Armies are really funny and the most dearest humans in my life." Hoseok said as he put a hand on his heart and smiled. Huesung smiled at him too. Soon the food came and they ate the food. In between them eating their food, it started raining more heavily.

*RING RING*

Huesung's phone rang. He picked up the phone.

"Hello?... What?... How can this be?... A board meeting?.... Ok. I will be there. Time?... Ok, bye." Huesung said and hung up the phone.

"Is everything alright?" Hoseok asked concern on his face.

" No. 3 of our partners have taken their shares out of our bank and our profit has decreased majorly. So there is a board meeting early morning and I need to go to my office to take out some papers and discuss this matter with my fellow staff members. I am sorry but you have to go home alone. Is it alright with you?" Huesung said.

"Why can't you drop me off?" Hoseok questioned.

"Because I have to go to my office and it's in Seoul's outskirts. I am sorry but it would take so much time and I don't want to loose my job. I will make it up to you. Bye." Huesung said and got up. He smiled at Hoseok and went away.

"Sir, do you want to order the dessert?" The same waitress came once Huesung left. Hoseok sighed and shook his head.

"No. Please bring the bill." He said and the waitress nodded then she went away.

Hoseok sat at the table alone. He looked outside and started to think how to get to the dorms. He reached into his pocket to take his phone out but felt nothing. He frowned and then sighed when he realized that he had left his phone in his room. The waitress came with a tablet in her hand which had a card swiping option beside it.

"Card or cash?" The waitress asked. As Huesung was the one who would pay, Hoseok had brought no cash with him. "Card." He said and took out his wallet which he thankfully had. He took out his black card and swiped it in the given space. Then he punched his code and the amount. A bill came out of the tablet and the waitress gave it to Hoseok to sign it. After the signature the waitress thanked Hoseok and went away.

Hoseok stood up from his seat. He went towards the elevator and pressed the ground floor. He walked out and saw a bucket which had umbrellas in it. He asked the door man if he could borrow the umbrella.

"Yes, sir." He said. "How much?" Hoseok asked. "Free." The guard said and Hoseok nodded. He took an umbrella and opened it. He went in the rain and started going right. He looked at his surroundings and was thankful that he was familiar with the area he was in. From here, the dorms are 3 neighborhoods away.

Hoseok started his walk towards the dorms. He walked on the sidewalk occasionally cars would go by him but thankfully they would be in so much speed that the people sitting in won't notice who the person is. After walking for 10 minutes, Hoseok took a mini break and sat down on a bench nearby.

He panted heavily. As his heat was very near, his body was showing symptoms by going weak. After 5 minutes he got up and continued his journey. He saw a signal showing up, which meant a new neighborhood is going to start. He sighed in relief and continued walking. He crossed the road and entered the new neighborhood.

In this neighborhood famous businessmen lived. Hoseok smiled as he saw big houses lit with many lights. The street was buzzing with noises and liveliness. He could hear faint chattering and laughs. He smiled at people being happy. He chuckled when he heard Hope World playing in one of the homes that he passed by.

But happiness doesn't last for too long. A car zoomed past Hoseok and it made the puddle of water come at Hoseok. Hoseok was now all wet from head to toe. He cringed at the muddy water on him and angrily cursed at the driver while raising his fisted hand in the air. Hoseok then looked down and dusted himself but only got mud on his hand.

It had now stopped raining, but the winds were so cold that Hoseok started shivering. He closed the umbrella. It was still drizzling lightly. The best way to avoid hypothermia by cold winds was to run to the dorms. This would produce some heat in him and would get him there quickly.

--Time Skip--

Hoseok did reach the dorms quickly but it was drizzling and as he was running the wind was hitting him 2 times colder. Hoseok quickly went inside the dorm building and quickly went into the elevator. He was greeted by heat and he sighed in relief. Soon the elevator opened and Hoseok opened the emergency flap and pressed his floor. The door of the elevator opened inside the dorm building and he rushed towards the fireplace.

Hoseok went inside and sat in front of the fireplace. He was shivering from time to time.

"Hoseok, why are you smelling?" Jimin asked him as he was sitting on the couch doing something on his phone.

"I'll tell you later. First, I'll go and get a shower." Hoseok said and stood up. Jimin nodded and let him leave.

Hoseok took a nice warm shower and then changed his clothes.

*Achooo*

Hoseok sneezed on his way downstairs and sniffled. 'Oh my god. Please I can't have a flu.' Hoseok thought but then dismissed the thought when he saw all the members in the living room.

"Hoseokie, how did the date go?" Taehyung asked and stood up from the couch.

"Sit. I will tell you how it went." Hoseok said in a serious tone. Taehyung sat down on the couch and Hoseok joined them sitting on the floor in front of the fireplace.

"It was the worst date ever. It started pretty good. We went to five star hotel and the view from our table was nice. We took pictures with the waterfall. Then we ordered. He chose a Turkish menu and I have never tasted Turkish but I let it pass. The food came it was just not my type and I was forcing the food down my Esophagus just so Huesung is not disappointed. Then he got a phone call and he said that some of his partners pulled out their shares from his bank and their is a board meeting and he needs to go." Hoseok paused and looked at everyone to see if they are hearing or not.

"Continue." Namjoon said and Hoseok nodded.

"I asked him if he can drop me off at my dorm or at least near the dorms because it was raining heavily. He said no to me and went away. I had to pay for the food. I had to walk home. I had to borrow the umbrella and I had to get all soaked up from the muddy water because people don't know how to drive in rain." Hoseok said all this in one breath and sniffed. He wiped some if his tears and hugged his legs.

"Awww. Baby. Why didn't you call us?" Jin asked as he walked towards Hoseok and hugged him.

"I left my phone in the room because someone was very anxious for the members to look at my outfit." Hoseok said gritting his teeth and looking at Taehyung, who winced at the harsh tone and cowered on the couch.

"Hyung, I am feeling dizzy." Hoseok said as he felt everything going in circles. He winced when he felt a pain shoot on his forehead.

"Hobi, are you okay?" Jin asked as he touched his forehead and felt it heat up.

"You're having a fever. Can you walk?" Jin asked Hoseok as he lifted him up. Everyone stood up in alert and rushed towards Hoseok. They all helped Hoseok and took him to his room. They laid Hoseok down on the bed and Jin brought some medicines.

After Hoseok was deep in sleep and his fever had died down, the members went away leaving Yoongi with Hoseok. Yoongi too went to sleep after cuddling Hoseok.
