Author's POV

A few days had passed since Jin came back to the university and the SiWoo incident happened. Jungkook had grown a lot more comfortable around his hyungs than he initially was, both because he met SeokJin and because they knew everything about his past now.

"Yah, namjoon-ah, you're spacing out again!" Jin yelled, with a laugh. "Ah, sorry Hyung." Namjoon apologised.

Namjoon and seokjin were getting along too. But there was still one topic that remained undiscussed. The topic of all seven of them being mates.

However, today, yoongi was specifically more determined to get a final answer. He was sick of them acting weird around each other. The omegas were touchy and almost always on top of each other. Taehyung kept grumbling about group cuddles but they all knew he enjoyed them.

And the alphas were the worst. One day, namjoon growled at a beta who accidentally bumped into jungkook on the hallway. The beta had apologised and jungkook was a blushing mess because of Namjoon's behaviour but all in all, they made a whole scene in the middle of a busy hallway.

Even after all these things, they had never really sat down and discussed how would their relationship unfold with seven mates. But, their instincts were slowly taking over them. Hell, even Seokjin, the tough outspoken omega had started being sweeter towards the alphas.

"Hey guys," yoongi started. Everyone was in the living room, doing their own thing. What could be a better opportunity than this, yoongi thought.

"Yes Hyung?" Taehyung asked, looking up from his phone. "So about that day's topic, what do you think about us being mates?"

Great job, yoongi, to hell with being discreet!!

"Ahh" Jin said, straightening up a bit. "I thought we needed more time to figure it out-"

"Of course we are!" Taehyung stated, which was a shocker for all of them. The beta had been questioning the idea since the starting but for him, to agree? That too so openly? Yeah, completely unexpected.

"It's obvious that we are mates. Maybe this was the reason why joon Hyung stood up for me back in freshman year but it all makes sense that way... All seven of us finding each other, me being the only beta having a crush on kookie, namjoon hyung's feelings for Jin Hyung, hobi hyung's crush on yoongi Hyung, it all fits into its place! Like a puzzle." Taehyung explained.

"Well I can't disagree with that but-" Jin tried but was cut off by yoongi. "What do you mean hobi had a crush on me?"

Taehyung gulped audibly. "Kim Taehyung I swear I will sew that mouth shut some day." Hoseok growled at the beta. "I am sorry! It was a slip of tongue! Damn Hyung, chill." He said, putting his hands up in the air in a surrender position.

"But I did have a crush on you since... Forever." Yoongi confessed rubbing his nape. "Speaking of crushes," namjoon pipes in. "Jimin, do you have a confession too?"

Jimin initially panics, but soon gains his composure back. "I-i mean y-your irresistable and-"

"I asked for a confession pup, not an explaination." Namjoon pats the younger alpha's head. "Not a pup" jimin grumbles.

"As everyone is confessing, I have had a crush on kookie since highschool." Jin says.  "Really Hyung?!" Jungkook asks, genuinely shocked. "Yeah but I always thought it was platonic, omega to omega, protective instincts, you know. But look where we are now." Jin explains with a laugh.

"And I think everyone knows about me and my crush on kookie so that's nothing new." Tae says, sulking. "Aww hyungie even if we all knew about it, it still counts." Jungkook coos, crawling onto Taehyung's lap.

"Ok, ok," yoongi starts "now back to the original topic. What do you think about us being mates?"

"As I said earlier, I agree." Taehyung said, nuzzling Jungkook's neck, making the younger the let out a giggle. "I agree too!" Jimin says. "Me and kookie were the ones who brought up this topic for the first time so of course we agree too." Jin said.

"This just feels right. I agree too." Hoseok says. "I am in too." Namjoon said.

Ok guys, first off, sorry for late updateee!! I was really busy with school work (basically buried neck deep into it) and yeah, I decided to update this today cause I had cleared two whole days of today and tomorrow just for namjoon birthday.

Second off, what do you guys want to happen next in the book? Any requests? I need ideas for fluff ;-;
