Zero-One, a well known young hero for animal like suits and violent nature. Surprisingly, he's well liked by some but others think he's too extreme. He however has never endangered a civilian or killed a villain, despite pummeling villains without mercy. That's what he's doing right now with one of Green Arrow's villains, Icicle Jr. The ice themed villain gets a brutal kick in the ribs and due to Y/N using Rising Hopper, it flat out breaks his ribs. The police come to take the broken villain away and one walks up to Y/N while chuckling.

Y/N: Well Officer, do you need any help?

Officer: Boy you know you can call me by my name.

Y/N: What kind of Officer lets someone like me call him Kyle?

Kyle: The kind that embodies an actual Kyle. Plus I was raised in Australia for a bit so chaos is kinda my thing.

Y/N chuckles at his friend's remark before getting a call. He puts his finger to his ear before speaking.

Y/N: Yello?

Batman: Zero-One, we need you to come to the Hall of Justice with your driver and Progrisekeys.

Y/N: Why exactly?

Batman hangs up on Y/N making him sigh. 

Y/N: We still up for drinks Kyle?

Kyle: Of course.

Y/N uses his superior leg strength to jump his way to his own home. Before he lands in the backyard, he quickly detransforms and lands.

Y/N pov
After I land, I go into my room and grab my briefcase. The case itself is made of metal and holds all of my Progrisekeys and even teleports them with some tech Cyborg and Iron man made for me. Inside of it is 18 slots that holds one Progrise key each. It's split into two sections so the top part rises and splits open to reveal 18 more slots, making the grand total to 36.

Y/N: Let's see, I have Rising Hopper, Rocking Hopper, Crowding Hopper, Biting Shark, Flying Falcon, Flaming Tiger, Freezing Bear, Breaking Mammoth, Hopping Kangaroo, Dynamaiting Lion, Sparking Giraffe, Amazing Hercules, and Invading Horseshoe Crab. The case is kinda overkill since I have enough space to hold 36 of the damn things and only use 13 spaces. Then again, Grandpa gave me that badass one but it fucking hurts to use. I'll just take these and leave. 

Y/N puts on his jacket and walks to the garage to his motorcycle.

I ride to a special tunnel that has a boom tube within it. This tunnel was made specifically for a hero who's using their vehicles rather than walking to the Hall of Justice. Going through the boom tube, I arrive at a massive garage that's built to hold the vehicles of all heroes. From Batman's Batmobile to Wonder Woman's Invisible Jet, it can hold them all. I park my bike next to, ugh, Robin's and walk to the meeting room briefcase in hand. I arrive at the meeting room to see not only the Justice League (Batman, Superman, Flash, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, and Martian Manhunter), but the Avengers (Hulk, Thor, Iron man, Captain America, Hawkeye, Black Panther, Black Widow, and Captain Marvel), Young Justice (Robin, Kid Flash, Super boy, Miss Martian, Aqualad, and Zatanna), my parents, and even my sister. Confused, my dad starts speaking, albeit with a disappointed tone.

Dad: Son, this isn't easy to say-

Batman: You're being cut from the team.

My eyes widen before I glare at them. The fuck did I do for them to just say I'm not needed? Yeah I'm violent, but supervillains need someone to fear, not a caped crusader who puts everyone in jail.

Mom: You're too violent when it comes to fighting and nearly kill villains.

Y/N: No I-

Batman: When you fought Bane, not only was his spine snapped, but he was put into a coma.

Y/N: What? Mad that you couldn't do it yourself Batsy.

Dad: This is serious, which is why you're going to give your Driver and Progrisekeys to your sister. She's more responsible and won't kill anyone.

Superman and Captain America grab both of my arms before I can move. My dad takes the Driver from my waist and give it and the case to my sister.

Dan: I can't believe you're my son.

Gritting my teeth, I sock him dead in the nose before leaving.

Megan: What was that for?

Y/N: Cause apparantly I ain't his son, so I don't give a fuck if I hit him. And since I'm not a hero, I can get an actual job where my underwear isn't on the outside.

I leave before anyone says anything. The thing is, Megan and Dan already know about the extra key, but not where I keep it. That's why I run to my bike as soon as the door closes and rush home. 

Timeskip

I make it home but get surprised to see Grandpa sitting on the couch. He notices me and stands up with a smile. I smile and hug him, which makes him hug me back. After a while, we part and sit on the couch together.

Y/N: Hey gramps.

Gramps: Hey champ, so how's the collection coming along.

I scowl at the mention of the keys and gramps notices this. He asks what's wrong and I explain to him how I was kicked off the team because I severely injured and mentally scarred some villains I fight. He breaks the damn coffee table when I get done talking.

Gramps: HOW THE HELL ARE THEY GONNA TAKE A GIFT I GAVE YOU AWAY?!?

Y/N: You're guess is as good as mine. Also calm down before you have a stroke or something.

Gramps: First of all fuck you, second of all I have another gift for you.

Gramps hands me a business card and my eyes widen. I look at gramps who nods with a smile.

Gramps: Y/N, I want you to join Red Nexus as an agent.

Y/N: Hell yeah. We should hurry and leave though.

Gramps: Why?

Y/N: They know about that key you gave me and know how dangerous it is.

Me and gramps move at speeds that could make the flash jealous and quickly pack up my things and put them in a red car outside. We get into the car just as some heroes pull up and I sigh in relief. I look out the window while the car drives to a base.

Timeskip

I walk out of the car and go to a door gramps leads me to. He punches in a code and the door opens to reveal a high-tech laboratory. Walking with gramps, we stop at a scientist who smiles at gramps. 

Scientist: Mr. Kawa, are you here for the Driver?

Gramps nods and the scientist pulls out a purely black key. He puts the key into a wall and turns it, making the wall open. Dry ice pours out of the room for simple aesthetic and dies down to reveal a badass looking Driver. It's a black and white Driver with a red core. Gramps motions me to grab it, and I do so as well as put it on. 

Gramps: That Driver is known as the Ark Driver. It's like the Hiden Driver, but stronger and can handle that special key better that the other. Now follow me.

I comply after getting the Driver and we arrive into what looks like a server room. The room itself is a dull greyish-black with multiple computers lining the walls. Smack dab in the middle of the room is an octopus like robot using every computer and placing different items in different places.

Gramps: Y/N, this is Octo. He's a robot that catalogs information for you specifically. He'll store the Progrisekeys you collect.

Octo: Greetings Zero-One, I shall be your personal helper during your career in Red Nexus. Would you hand me the Key in your possession?

I hold the key out to him and he grabs it with his tentacle. Octo places the key into a rectangular slot. The key sinks into the slot and the main computer screen lights up an eerie red color. 

Octo: Key downloaded. Animal: Unknown. When you need to use it, just say the name of the key and I will teleport it to you. That or type it when you're free.

Gramps: Well, it's time to get you registered.

Me and gramps walk out of the room and I wonder what I got myself into.
