I'm becoming to lazy with chapter titles

Percy's POV: six years from last chapter

Ok I'll be honest, not much of what happened in the past six years is incredibly important, but I'll do my best to catch you up on what is now, and if I forget anything Artemis will slap me for it later...probably...ok most definitely, if it involves the kids.

Flashback 

It's been about three weeks from my mother's funeral and coincidentally, the day that our adoptive daughters and Estella finished up all of their rooms, though Estella had help...from everyone...and she was the first one done, and of Tyson's return from his vacation.

"Brother I'm back" Tyson shouted entering the palace, only for him to immediately yell again, "Please call off the scary nieces" which got Artemis to laugh as I had to go call off the girls.

"Girls please stop scaring your uncle" I said, and they stopped only to turn and look at me.

"But he didn't help us with finishing our rooms" They replied in unison freaking Tyson out a little.

"Maybe because your mother assigned that as a punishment" I retorted, "and I gave him time off so he can spend some time with his girlfriend"

They were quiet after that and I think raided the kitchen for food, or went to the indoor training facilities. "Thanks brother" Tyson said

"No problem" I replied

"So what work needs to be done" He asked

"Well I'm thinking of a project, but it needs to be kept secret, or maybe help Clarisse finish the fleet, or fashion some armor and weapons for the kids, though don't tell any responsible adult. Other than that I can't really think of anything that needs to be done in the immediate time period"

"What kind of weapons" Tyson's asked

"Start with some bows, hunting knife sets, and swords" I said

"Ok I'll make a few sets of everything" Tyson said and headed off to the forge

"Thanks brother" I shouted out after him, before returning to Artemis, who was putting some final touches to the nursery since we are having three kids soon, all of which are girls.

Time skip: I'm bringing you ahead to Artemis giving birth like a month later

I woke up this morning to surprise Artemis's water broke. And now, since Thalia is apparently 'incapable of delivering children yet', Artemis's words not mine, I have to go get Apollo, as Thalia is suppose to be learning how to do this so she can't leave.

So I flashed off to where I felt that Apollo was, which surprisingly wasn't at a bar, hotel room, or some random mortals house but his own mother's. 

Oh shit we forgot to tell Leto, like we forgot to tell her a lot of things. I hope she's not like Zeus, who's still probably planning to punish me somehow for the whole marrying Artemis without his permission thing.

I knocked on the door rapidly, only to hear Leto, complain "it's always the day off when people want to interrupt my soap operas, that they knock".

She opened the door to see me there and looked confused, before probably thinking of a game to play and mess with me. "Where's my daughter" she said

I just walked past her and saw a five year old Apollo on the couch. "being a child time is over I need doctor Apollo now" I said, Apollo turned and looked at me and then shook his head no. I sighed and grabbed him, and Leto grabbed me, seeing that I was kidnapping Apollo, and flashed all three of us back to Artemis's and my bedroom, where she began screaming at me for what took me so long.

But then she saw her mother and a five year old Apollo, and started yelling at Apollo to stop being a child and be a doctor.

 Did I mention that she was using more cuss words than Arion...no well she is, and it's scaring me. However, it seemed to scare Apollo more as he was still frozen in fear in a five year old form but Leto took over. "Alright Thalia, get a bucket of warm water and a soft towel, and a blanket" Leto started

"it's triplets mother" Artemis said

"Ok Thalia make that order times three, except the bucket can still just be one" Leto said and Thalia ran off to collect what was needed. "Apollo age yourself up or walk out of the room" Leto commanded and Apollo left the room.

"Wimp" Artemis yelled out after him, then she turned and looked at me, "You better not join him" 

I shook my head no and went to her side, and did my best to comfort her like I saw in those movies and tv shows, I've seen. Which seemed to make her a little less pained but she was still in pain. "Wow I didn't need to tell you what to do. You are already doing better than most of my patients spouse's" Leto said

"Mother now is not the time" Artemis said before letting out a pained scream.

Leto quickly grabbed a sheet and threw it over Artemis's lower half before ducking under it herself. I don't really want to know what's happening under there, yet I can't say I'm not curious as to what is. But it was at this time that Thalia came running back in, "Why is Apollo crying outside"

"Artemis used her mean words on him" I said only to get slapped by Artemis, and for her to start using her mean words on me proclaiming she didn't.

"Artemis honey calm down. You're properly dilated and can start pushing" Leto said calmly, "Thalia put the stuff down over in the corner, and come help so you can learn how to do this. AND APOLLO GO GET ONE OF YOUR OLDER NIECES TO COME IN AND HELP AND I DO MEAN OLDER DAMMIT DON'T SEND IN ONE OF THE YOUNGER GIRLS" Leto stated and then yelled at Apollo.

A few minutes later Artemis was screaming in pain again, clutching my hand with a death grip, I'm so happy I didn't give her my sword fighting hand, and Julia walked in, and asked what she had to do.

"Ah just wait you need to clean the children as they come" Leto said calmly.

"Remind me never to get pregnant" Thalia said, terrified at what ever she was seeing, as Artemis screamed again in pain, only for when she was done for a baby to start wailing. I saw Thalia hand the baby off to Julia who quickly washed and swaddled the baby before bring our first born over to us and holding her up like Rafiki held up Simba in the lion king.

I didn't know what to say and I don't think Artemis knew what to say either, but Julia broke the silence, "Well what are you two going to name her" Julia stated annoyed, and somehow, probably due to being a goddess the baby looked annoyed as well.

"Zoë" Artemis said, and Julia looked at me, "What? do I have to approve or something because I'm fine with that" I stated, which only got a look of annoyance from the girls in the room, including the newly named Zoë.

"you are suppose to finish her name you idiot. Did they teach you anything at that camp" Leto said

"Apparently not" I responded, and Leto mumbled something about needing to talk to Chiron about actually teaching the kids things, but the girls were still looking at me.

"Oh right, uhh" I started and ended up saying the first thing that came to mind, "Zoë Knightshade Jackson" Artemis looked like she was about to cry, whether from happiness, sadness, or pain, I do not know, but that thinking was interrupt by her screaming again and both Leto and Thalia telling her to push, as I was handed my first newborn daughter.

A few moments later the process repeated but I knew what to do now, as Artemis gave the name of Sally to our second daughter, and well I was almost crying, "Uh Percy finish the name of our second daughter, Sally" Artemis stated

"Oh right, Sally Bianca Jackson" I said, once again first thing that came to mind, I hope Nico won't mind...he probably won't.

"Hey why don't we switch it up for our third daughter" I said and the girls looked confused as can be, "I mean I give our daughter her first name and you can finish it" I said looking at Artemis

"Interesting, but ok" Artemis said, and then screamed signaling our third daughter is about to be be born.

It took a short while, though this time Thalia was taking care of the newborn as Julia had her hands full with Sally, since I was out of hands and Artemis was just finishing giving birth.

Thalia walked over after a couple minutes with a clean and freshly swaddled baby, "I think Silena suits her" I said

Artemis began to think, before deciding, "Ok, Silena Diana Jackson" Artemis said, and I looked at her, "What it's not as easy as you think" she complained tiredly, as Leto was using magic to clean everything up. However, Julia came over and handed Artemis Sally, as Thalia and I both handed her Silena and Zoë respectively.

In a matter of seconds all four girls were passed out asleep, and I was left with my mother in law, Leto, my cousin and wife's lieutenant, Thalia, and my eldest adopted daughter, Julia. "What now" I asked

"Let them rest and have food prepared for Artemis, with nectar and ambrosia as well. Giving birth to one godly child is tiring enough, and I had two, I can't imagine how tiring three is" Leto said

"Welp I'm off to tell my sisters and auntie Kym the news" Julia said running out the door, and I gave Thalia a pleading look.

"I'll go make sure they don't destroy anything important. So basically just direct any destruction at Apollo" Thalia said, running off, which got a concerned look from Leto.

"she's definitely their half sibling" Leto stated

"Yup" I agreed popping the 'p'

Leto sighed and let out a silent prayer, likely asking that Apollo at least survives whatever is coming. "You did well, most usually pass out, or have their hand broken" Leto said

"Oh no my hand is most definitely broken, I just hope Apollo can heal it before Thalia directs the former hunters at him" I said walking out of the door, and into Apollo

"Is she nice again" Apollo whispered in his five year old form.

"We'll tell you after you heal your brother in law's hand, Son" Leto said sternly, and Apollo immediately began healing my hand.

We however, didn't get to answer Apollo's question as he was then starting to get swarmed by the former huntresses and I began laughing, as he started running.

After I got back in control of myself, I walked to the kitchen and Leto followed me, "She likes your pancakes" Leto said as she noticed me looking through the fridge and freezer, looking for whatever meat we had.

"I wouldn't think pancakes is something she would want after going through childbirth, though" I replied

"Trust me she's my daughter, and has spoken of little other foods ever. Also add some Ambrosia bits and a little bit of nectar into the batter. It should help with energy and recovery" Leto replied, so I got to work on cooking. 

I was cooking for a little while before I got tired of the silence and decided to break it, "Uhh Leto" I asked

"Yes Percy" she stated

"Well there's somethings we haven't told you about...other than your grandchildren being conceived" I said

"Like" 

"My mom she...uhh...passed a couple of months ago." I stated pouring the first of the pancakes on to the skillet.

"Oh" Leto replied, seeming genuinely shocked at the news.

"Yeah, and well she may not show it all the time but I can tell it still affects Artemis, somedays" I said

"I feel an 'and' is coming" Leto interrupted as I was flipping the first of the pancakes.

I let out a sigh, "and I was wondering if you would consider moving down here, I'll give you your own place, even if the drama queen's wife doesn't approve" I said

I was finished up the first set of pancakes and turned around to see Leto looking at me in shock. I being the childish person...well god, that I am, waved my hand in front of her face and clapped my hands together in front of her.

"But...but why" Leto stuttered coming out of her trance.

"do you want the reasons listed" I asked, to which Leto nodded softly, "well, you're my mother in law for one, and that makes you closer family despite the complex family tree. Two you're one of the peaceful titans and shouldn't have been punished in the first place. Three, I think Artemis would benefit from having you around, as she does miss you. Four we both miss my mother and I know I would feel better if my mother in law was at a safer location than the mortal world with dumbass mortals who thinking drinking and driving is a good idea. And five, you're an immortal titaness and your place should be among other immortals instead of living in exile because someone is spiteful because another someone doesn't know how to keep it in his pants to this day" I listed, with the last one getting a laugh from her, and me getting another stack of pancakes done.

"Fine, I'll move here, if it makes both of you happy...as long as Apollo is allowed to visit me at anytime he or I please" Leto counter offered

"Deal, just don't tell Artemis I want it to be a surprise, and if you would like to design your palace, or already have a design I can have worked started on it shortly" I said

"Wait palace" Leto questioned

"Yeah, I've been thinking about this for a while and there's a plot of open land right next to us if you would like to build your palace there" I said, "I'll show you it after we deliver Artemis the food"

"Ok" Leto replied somewhat robotically, probably still having a hard time getting her head wrapped around this. As after her giving birth to her twins, Hera practically forced everyone to shun her.

I finished up the last of the pancakes and buttered and lightly put syrup on them, before grabbing some ambrosia squares and nectar and heading back to Artemis to deliver the food. I saw that she and the kids were still asleep. So, I wrote a note saying that, I am showing her mom around, as Apollo is getting chased by the girls, and that the pancakes are for her.

I went back to the kitchen, and saw that Leto hasn't moved yet. "Hello the seas to Leto are you there" I asked, and she turned around.

"Yes" 

"ready to see the plots of land you can choose from" I asked and she nodded 

I lead her outside, and formed an air bubble as we left, as I was unsure of her ability to breath underwater, and didn't want to shock her by giving her the ability if she doesn't have it and pushing her outside into the water. I walked over to the first plot I was considering giving her as it was adjacent to ours. Leto walked the perimeter of it before coming back to me and saying she liked it, and would be fine with living next to us. I hugged my mother-in-law for the first time really and started saying 'thank you' over and over again, which confused her as I turned into a five year old to do that.

We walked back into the palace, and we were watching her soap operas with Apollo still running to avoid the former huntresses all around the palace. Well we were watching until Artemis yelled, "WHERE ARE MY PANCAKES".

I ran into the bedroom to see our daughters standing in the corner as 3 year olds, and Artemis angrily holding the note. I took one look at the girls and knew instantly they were hiding something behind them. "Girls what are you hiding" I asked, and that got Artemis's attention on them.

They immediately caved and Artemis saw the empty plate they were hiding, Artemis immediately started crying at the lost of her 'precious' pancakes, and I admit now that Leto was right about the pancakes. "We're sorry mama we were just hungry" Zoë stated, being the oldest probably trying to protect her slightly younger siblings from retribution.

"But my pancakes" Artemis wailed

"I'll make more of them" I stated, which got all four girls in the room to turn on me and excitedly ask for them.

I made more pancakes for the girls and in one of the rare moments of our adoptive daughters chasing Apollo, they ran through the kitchen and all stopped, "we want pancakes" They said in unison.

Artemis just looked at them, "Fine but you'll have to wait" she said with a slight glare, and all of them, including Apollo stormed the table and took a seats. You know what will be funny, if I don't make enough pancakes for Apollo.

Anyways Thalia hearing the silence probably thought something was wrong and came rushing in carrying Estella with her. "Oh my gods. I thought they killed Apollo" she said at the entrance way. Which got all my daughters yes, both adopted and born, to laugh.

 Once everyone, including Leto, and besides Apollo had their share of pancakes, we told the girls off to bed, but that left Zoë, Sally, and Silena confused. "But we don't have one of those" they said to us in unison. Artemis flicked her wrist and they turned back into one day olds, that were in silver onesies. "I know you three may not like this but we only have a nursery prepared for you three. I wasn't expecting you to turn three on day one" Artemis told them, and instructed me to pick them up with her, and brought them into the nursery.

Line break: 3 months a time skip

Tyson finished building Leto's palace, that she designed, last week and Leto finished secretly moving in, where we agreed she would surprise Artemis by saying hello to her new 'neighbors'.

So we were watching a movie with the girls today, when we heard a knock on the door. "Artemis why don't we go get that and let the kids continue watching the movie" I whispered, and she nodded carefully moving a few heads off her that were using her as a pillow.

When we got to the door I guestered for her to open it, and Artemis looked annoyed by my actions, until she opened the door and saw her mother standing there. "Hello I'm new to the neighborhood and just wanted to introduce myself" Leto said, in a terrible southern US accent.

"Mom" Artemis said, all teary eyed.

"Yes, my daughter" Leto responded normally, only to have Artemis launch herself at her in a hug

When Artemis stopped hugging her mother she turned and saw me and then looked back at her mother, "You two were planning this" she asked and we both nodded our heads

"I wanted it to be a surprise" I stated as she looked like she was about to slap me, but instead turned and hugged me tightly
