Percy's POV:

After lighting the funeral pyre of my mother, and hearing Estella, it was all coming to a greater head for me, and acceptance was also hitting hard. My Mother dead, and likely not coming back. I mean I have the power and capability to do so, but it's not what she would want, I think. Artemis and I took our seats again, as to watch the pyres burn and morn. Estella shifted herself and turned to bury herself in Artemis hair, where I heard quite sniffles coming from shortly after.

It only took ten minutes for Estella to fall asleep and an additional five minutes for the pyres to finish burning. Many of the campers took off and headed back to camp along with the Romans and gods, which basically left just Paul's family, officer smith and us three.

"Where are they all head off to" Officer smith asked

"back to where they came from" I answered, "most of them are my friends, their siblings, or my wife's family" I answered

"oh ok" officer smith stated as we started leading them back to their cars.

The journey was made in silence this time, though I could sense the want to complain about the walk from the girls on Paul's side of the family...except Estella and Paul's mom. Paul's family was packing in the car with the exception of his mother who looked like she didn't know what to say.

"Yes" I asked at her pending statement or question.

"Thank you, I guess." She stated, "Thanks for saving us a place up front with all the people there, and the burial shroud was so beautiful it was almost a shame to burn it" she continued

"No problem" I replied trying to be diplomatic, before she too got in the car to leave.

"How's Estella" Officer smith asked, after Paul's family left

"she hasn't slept without us yet, and we are starting on working on decorating her room soon" Artemis replied, which got a questioning look from officer smith, "oh shit I said that last part out loud didn't I" She continued noticing the look from officer smith.

"Yeah you did" Officer smith said, "care to explain as I was lead to believing you two didn't have a house"

You know how Artemis dug us in a small hole, well my dumb self decided to make it deeper...a lot deeper, "It's more so a palace than a house" I said, which got me slapped by Artemis, and a laugh from Estella. "It's good to know my pain is still humorous to you lil sis"

"Can you two explain" Officer smith stated

"You dug the hole you answer" Artemis said

"You started it" I replied

"together" she compromised, while officer smith was looking on confused, and I nodded.

"Ok better screw my brother over first" Artemis started, "His name isn't Fred. It's Apollo"

"like the god" questioned officer smith

"Yes" I confirmed, and officer smith looked like we grown extra heads. "you see the myths of Greece and Rome are real, and for some reason the pantheon travels with the flame of the west, thus mount Olympus now resides over the empire state building now"

"How do people not know about this" She questioned

"The Mist. A truly wonderful thing of Hecate's doing. It separates the mythical world from the mortal world" Artemis answered

"But what about things like god and science" She asked

"Please don't get them started on this matter" I pleaded seeing Artemis's angry expression, before she lost it.

"I swear it's always the same with mortals, now. What do you think is going to be considered of your science in two millennia. It's going to be the same way you all explain us, a primitive way to explain what they don't know" She fumed, which partially scared officer smith

"as for God, big 'G' we don't deal in the metaphysical, but the closest thing I can relate would be Chaos, and no I'm not talking about disorder, but an actual being" I said, after Artemis calmed down, mostly thanks to Estella.

"Well I guess all I have to ask is who are you two" Officer smith asked

"I'm Percy, originally a demigod son of Poseidon, but he uhh died, so I replaced him, becoming a god and got a few other domains" I said

"I'm just using my Roman form's name" Artemis answered, which seemed to make Officer smith think.

"But aren't you like the virgin goddess, and how do gods die" 

"Well, I'm not virgin anymore, and before you ask, Percy is different from all other males, and I don't regret losing my virginity or waiting over 4,000 years to do so, waiting for him" Artemis replied, answering the part of the question that was directed at her.

"Gods, don't truly die in the sense like how mortals do, it's more so fading. But one can be forced to fade, or naturally fade, like the late Lord Pan. My father was part of the former group when he fell to me in battle when leading a rebellion against Olympus." I answered

"What's going to happen to Estella" Officer smith asked

"Eventually she will be given Immortality, possibly godhood, but the latter will be more complicated as it will likely be unapproved of by my father" Artemis said

"Ohh so who was everyone at the funeral then"

"The remaining Olympians, a delegation of Roman demigods and the Greek demigods" I answered, "Oh and you can't tell anyone about this, and don't think your important because Apollo wants to be with you he's a giant man whore" I finished as Officer Smith went to her car, seemingly having all of her questions answered.

"Hey, I am not a man whore" Apollo said flashing in behind us, and out of sight of Officer smith, "and hello Officer smith"

"I forbid you brother" Artemis said

"you may want to leave now" I whispered to Officer smith, and she left after that.

"but"

"I'm queen of the seas now, so I will forbid you, or do you need me to go tell mother"

"Please no, she'll hate me for how much like father I am" Apollo started pleading and begging, but Artemis ignored him as we made our way back to camp, to join the feast in honoring the dead.

Time Skip

So the feast was good and was consisting of blue food, with the exception of the meats. However, we were constantly being questioned of why Apollo was begging Artemis not to tell mother.

After Chiron told all the demigods to go to bed, and some of the gods *cough* Aphrodite, Apollo Hermes, and Hephaestus *cough*, went off to their cabins with their kids, Zeus dismissed us all, despite it not being a meeting, which just left those of us left amused and confused.

The others who live on Olympus left, with the exception of hestia. "If you need a baby sister, I'm available" Hestia said flashing a way in a pillar of flames only to reappear at the camps fire, and start tending it.

"Can one of you take us back" Reyna said, and I just pointed to Chris, who sighed "why me"

"Because you are the messenger of the seas and I request it be done" I said

"fine" Chris sighed, before taking the Romans back to their camp, with Tyson and Ella, as I gave him a few weeks off.

"What about us" Thalia asked

"Kym go do what you were doing before hand, Clarisse go continue work on the fleet, and Thalia, back to the palace to watch them" Artemis said

"How come I get the worst job out of all three of us" Thalia sighed, before flashing out.

"Sorry about your mom" Kym said hugging me quickly before doing the same for Estella, but with Parents instead of just saying mom, then proceeding to flash away. 

"I'll see ya later, prissy" Clarisse said leaving for her duties as well.

"Why are we still here" I asked

"Too stay at your cabin, because I don't feel like going back to questions galore" Artemis said, walking off to cabin three, where we stayed for the night.

So we stayed in my cabin where we somehow all fit into my old bed till we left the next morning from there.

We arrived at our palace to be meet with what Artemis predicted, but we were much more well rested.

"Where were you two last night"

"How was it"

"Was Paul's family rude"

"do we need to kill anyone"

"Who spoke a eulogy"

I think were the primary questions, our adoptive daughters were asking. "Ok well we were at his cabin last night, getting rest" Artemis started and many of the girls scoffed as if it were an offense for me to just have one, "It went better than expected, especially with the Stolls there. They were annoying but not rude, and remained respectful during the ceremony. You don't need to, but you can go after my brother if you want. and the cabins all spoke, Reyna spoke as a delegation from New Rome, then Apollo which surprisingly wasn't all about himself, then Thalia and Nico teamed up, after them it was some of Paul's family then myself and finally Percy" Artemis finished answering the questions I heard at least.

"Who had the best speech" they asked, of course Thalia was in the room and said herself, where as I said myself and Artemis was remaining neutral on the matter so that left the girls disappointed until Estella shouted "Big brother's speech was the best"

"You betray us Auntie Estella" some of the older girls said, while thalia said that she betrayed by her.

"I don't get it"Estella said after they walked out to go back to finishing their rooms.

"They prefer Thalia over me, don't worry about it" I said

"But aren't you their daddy like how you are mine now" Estella asked

"yes but that still doesn't mean they have to side with me over Thalia whom they've known longer" I answered

"oh" came Estella's short reply

"Now how about we see what food remains and then get you your room picked out" Artemis said

LINE BREAK: The author didn't feel like writing the part where they do that.

We just finished picking out Estella's room and were about to leave to go start finishing her room, but were interrupted by Hermes, Hephaestus, and Chris delivering the order we made with Hephaestus.

"Wow that was quick" I said

"Thanks" Hephaestus responded

So we, meaning Chris, Hermes, Hephaestus and I spent the rest of the day placing all the furniture in the exact location Artemis wanted it and installing all the appliances much to Estella's amusement when we were off even by less than a millimeter. But by the end of the day we were finished and Hephaestus and Hermes found out about my adoptive daughters, and laughed at the work around we had came up with, for the hunt being disbanded.
