Percy's POV: 

After spending much of the day with auntie Hestia and the hunters, I went back to bed. The only problem is that Thalia, and the other hunters, once again forced me to stay in their cabin, and I wasn't allowed to leave. However, on a positive note, I stopped having dreams of Tartarus, the counter to that watching the event that caused me to break in the first place.

I awoke with a start, breathing heavily and sweating. I noticed that most of the hunters were up and that Artemis was back from her meeting. "Oh good Percy you're awake," she said, smiling noticing my conscious presence, "we are getting up to go to breakfast. Afterwards, you are to go to the showers and take one, then change into this," she said handing me a bag, with what I am presuming clothes in it. "After that head to Thalia's tree and if you don't arrive in a reasonable amount of time I'll send Thalia to find you" she finished with a slight smirk. 

I, personally, would prefer Artemis looking for me instead of Thalia. For, some reason I feel as if, Artemis understands my situation more than Thalia, and would be better at helping it instead of worsening it.

For some reason, likely ADHD, I found myself being dragged into a seat at the Artemis table. I took a quick look around and many campers seemed shocked, while Annabi...be...No her looked pissed, and the no-good boy, who happens to be my brother, is smirking like I'm going to get it.

"Campers, as many of you have noticed, Perseus is sitting at my table. That's because he is going hunting with us for a little while, and we will be leaving shortly after breakfast" Artemis stated, leaving many campers to gasp in shock, her to become even more pissed, and the boy to faint. 

I've been spending too much time with the hunters, or Artemis secretly blessed me and part of the blessing is the ability to say 'boy' as if it was the worse insult possible. "Why do you want Percy, he cheated on me" Annabeth smirked, to which, I think, I saw Artemis with steam coming out of her ears.

"How stupid do you take me to be, Wisdom spawn" Artemis spoke in a way that made, the pillow pet murderer, Octavian, preferable company, "Perseus's fatal flaw is loyalty. Do you know what that means, self-proclaimed smartest daughter of Athena," she asked

"Percy was never loyal to me and was only using me from the start" Annabeth replied

"You ought to be the dumbest child of my sister, in the history of ever. Do you know what would have happened to Percy even if that was true, nevertheless if he cheated on" Artemis started to question

"No"

"His fatal flaw would have taken over and killed him, in either case. Whether he cheated on you or cheated on somebody else with you. And what do you do? You cheat on him, giving your virginity to a useless prick, that has done literally nothing of note, and accuse the one man I actually respect, of the actions that you yourself are guilty of. You will never have a place in my hunt, Annie, no matter how much your mother begs me to allow you to join" Artemis finished storming out of the pavilion leaving a shocked Annabeth, and all of our friends there were glaring at her.

The rest of breakfast was a blur, except Thalia shocking me until I ate. The shower was nothing of note either, so, I decided to get dressed in whatever Artemis decided to get for me. Surprisingly her sense of fashion for males is not too bad. She got me a few plain silver/grey short-sleeved shirts, a couple of pairs of jeans, a few black sweatpants, one black, and one blue sweatshirt, and two pairs of combat boots. Somehow, don't ask me, my underwear was also in the bag. So, after getting dressed in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt I went to Thalia's tree just as the hunters were finishing getting there, that is when she came storming up the hill, with her bag packed. "Lady Artemis, you'll believe the words of a male pig before..." she was cut off by Artemis

"LaDy ArTeMiS, yOu'Ll BeLiEvE tHe WoRdS oF a MaLe PiG bEfOrE" she mocked, "In this case, and using your messed up definition of a 'Male Pig', Yes I will believe him thousands of times before I believe you," she said and with that, she started dragging me, with the hunters following, away from camp. 

Time Skip

Despite being dragged to a park not too far outside of NYC, I think it was near Fort Montgomery, my first couple of weeks with the hunt were slow, and I was getting in a better mood.

I got out of laundry easily, though as a counter I have to do my own. That happened on my second day with them away from camp 

Flashback

"Percy, I know I am forcing you to be here, but I'm still going to make you do an equal share of the chores," Artemis said, more softly than you would think possible from her

"what will they be Lady Artemis," I said, lacing the lady part with sarcasm. She is surprisingly against titles, and says it's not genuine anymore, but asks her hunters to be more formal around other gods, and their children, so, the others don't get any ideas in a negative sense.

"Perseus what did I tell you about that, and your chores will be stuff like cooking, cleaning, hunting, scouting, maintenance, and laundry..." I decided to cut her off before she started explaining her expectations.

"Artemis, I'm not too sure how the hunters would like me doing their laundry"

"Why would that be Percy"

"undergarments" As soon as I said that a look of realization crossed her face and she excused me from laundry duty but told me I had to do my own, which I was fine with.

Flashback over

That was a fun time, along with when Artemis allowed me to brutally slay monsters we came across. One time Thalia was nearly killed from behind by a dracaena archer, and let's just say that that day simply became known as the incident. 

Artemis also explained to me more about my fatal flaw, after that. She said that I would be more overly protective of those that I have loyalty ties to, now that part of my flaw is broken. I was wondering how and why she knew this, but didn't push and summed it up to her being a goddess and probably seeing this happen many times before.

The only thing I didn't like so far was that Artemis took my weapons every night before I headed off to bed. She told me that they would come back to me if there was a monster attack, or any other attack, or she would give them back to me in the morning. 

At first, I was upset because I lost my way out of this torture, but now it just turned into an annoyance because, despite my multiple insistences that I am fine and better now, she still takes them away.

Right now Thalia and I were hunting looking to get enough food for a couple of days since we just set up camp. You'll be surprised how much these girls can eat. They ate a 500-pound bear and a fully grown deer in one sitting. Now, I know I eat a lot, but dam can they eat as well because that's a lot of food. The bear itself could probably last me a week and a couple of days or more with rationing.

I did learn, however, that the hunters put a ban on Thalia's cooking. I asked why, and let's just say that was the second biggest regret in my life. The first is dating that bi...Annabeth. It was so bad, that I am considering asking Hades to add it as a punishment in the fields of punishment.

When we got back with three elk and some rabbits, we were told that Artemis had to go to Olympus for another meeting. We found out of course that Apollo was trying to escape the punishment that Uncle Drama queen wanted to put on him, and Athena, Hades, and my bastard father wanted to remove Zeus as king fearing his rule will bring 'The downfall of Olympus'. I'm pretty sure it would have fallen already if his rule was that bad. 

Artemis even tells us, that those 4 are trying to get others to side with them. Currently, she only knows that Ares switched to their side, but they have been trying to get her to join, and considering their actions, she thinks another war is upon us and told us her intention to side with Olympus. 

Considering, Artemis and her hunt were 'healing' me, I said I would follow where they decide to go. It's not like my father cares about me, He's been using me as a weapon to rid his realm of his enemies since the giant war ended, and now nearly all of them were gone. Athena and Hades tried to kill me, so that's a no, the same goes for Ares. Apollo is just self-centered and if he cared he would at least come to see how I was doing, they all know that I left camp after the break-up for a temporary leave. Hermes came, Aphrodite came, though she was crying about her former OTP ship being sunk to the bottom of the Mariana trench, with no possibility of recovery, Zeus even came, although I feel that was to check his daughter was ok with me staying here, however, he still asked how I was doing. 

It was about two months since I left camp with the hunt, and our last day in Yellowstone National park, when the fatal day came. A day that would mark a major change in the world. The day civil war was declared on Olympus.
