C H A P T E R ' 2

[Eurydice's POV]

I scrub my head gently with my palm when I feel sudden dizziness inside my head, Unti unti akong tumayo at linibot ang tingin sa buong paligid.

I gasped. Nandito ako sa hindi ko alam kung saan na lugar, puro nagtataasang puno lang ang nakikita ko. Paanong napunta ako dito sa loob ng madilim na gubat? Crap! Kahit ni anino lang man ng mansion ay hindi ko makita! Where the heck really am?

Dali dali kong tinungo ang pinaghulugan ko, ngunit isang malaking puno lang ang nandoon. A tall dark canopy tree. Biglang nagtaasan ang balahibo ko ng marinig ang isang kaluskos, Is that a Wolf?

Now, I'm all alone here, being stuck here in this freaking forest with the wild animals, How can I possibly Survive? I look at the sky, Heck! Its getting darker!

"Ouch! Shit!" Somebody groaned in pain. Napatingin ako sa pinaggalingan ng boses neto, and I saw an injured girl.

"Oh God, Are you okay?" I concernedly ask.

"Do I look like I'm fine? See this cuts and bruises? How can I possibly be Okay!?" Pagalit na sigaw niya sakin habang iniinda ang mga sugat sa katawan niya. That hit a nerve.

Nagsimula na akong maglakad palayo nang biglang magsalita yung babae, "Okay fine, Sorry."

I stopped, "I know how to find the exit of this forest and I can lead you the way, Just help me to stand and walk." I look at her once again.

She can't walk, but she knows the way. Then what shall I do now? Bahala na si Batman.

Tinulungan ko siyang tumayo at inilagay ko ang kamay niya sa balikat ko to support her.

"Now, What?" I asked and lift a brow.

"Lets hurry up, Baka maamoy tayo ng mga cerberus."

I didn't respond on what she had said, Cerberus? I have studied Greek mythology, and base on what I know, Its a monstrous multi-headed dog. And what? nageexist ito dito? O may mental problem tong' babaing to?

I suddenly stiffen ng biglang nagiba ang anyo ng babaeng kasama ko, "You can carry me easily with this Fox Form" She said,

She just turn into a WHITE FOX! Holy shit! How could it be possible? Am I hallucinating or something?

I lost my voice to react, "Hurry! Wag' kang tanga! Nakasunod sila sa atin!" sabi neto, at bigla siyang tumalon sa mga braso ko, "Carry me and Run!"

I don't know where the hell am I, but the only thing I am sure, I am not with a normal person.

Gumalaw ng kusa ang paa ko at tumakbo sa tinuro na direksyon nang nagsasalitang soro na bitbit ko, Until we reach into a very breathtaking place, Its a very beautiful valley.

"This is the valley of Flowers." Napatingin ako sa sorong hawak ko na tumalon. Unti unting bumalik ang dati niyang anyo, Anyong Tao. Nakita ko ring gumagaling na ang mga sugat niya,

"These Flowers heals anything that nears to it."

"Halika!" Bigla nalang niya akong hinila, wala akong nagawa kundi ang magpahila nalang.

Pero bago kami tuluyang nakalayo, ay napalingon ako nang marinig ang isang malakas na tahol, sa direksyon iyon kung saan kami kanina nang galing. In the dark gloomy forest.

At nanlaki ang mata ko nang makita ang may tatlong-ulo na aso na patuloy sa pagtahol hanggang sa umalis na ito at pumasok muli sa loob ng gubat.

"Worry not. Hindi sila lumalagpas sa Forestline ng mga Ruby's. Tsaka Gusto nila ang madilim na lugar at ayaw nila ng sinag ng araw." Sabi niya na parang napakadali lang sakin na maintindihan ang pinagsasabi niya. Ruby Forest? What a name.

"What kind of creature are you?" Biglang tanong ko. Hindi ko na kasi mapigilan ang sarili ko, dahil gulong gulo na ako.

She stopped for a while and then look at me, "I'll explain later." At hinila na niya ulit ako, we run silently and carefully through the valley until we were entering another forest again. This one looks lively than the previous one, which is really creepy and dangerous.

It's been an hour of Running and Hiding with this i-don't-know-her-name girl.

At ngayon ko lang namalayan na tila ba napaka comportable ko sa kanya kahit hindi ko siya kilala. We stopped in front of a two huge twin rocks.

May mga nakaukit na mga letra dito, pero hindi ko naman na iintindihan.

"Hey! are you listening!?" Napamulat ako sa realidad ng bigla niyang pagsampal sa akin,

'This brutal girl!' I killed her inside my mind using my sadist imaginations.

"What!?" Reklamo ko habang hinahawakan ang pisngi kong sinampal niya. If I could just lay my hands on her neck, I would wring it without pain until she breathes no more.

But, siya lang ang kasama ko dito ngayon. Siya lang ang maasahan ko sa ganitong panahon. I Stare at her blankly for a minute.

"I know I'm hot, Just stop the drooling! We're here!" She said proudly, I smirked of what she had said.

"Your no Hot, and I'm no lesbian. I'm just pitying on what you are wearing." I gave her my bored look and she just shrugged.

"Whatever." She muttered.

"Anong nandito na tayo--?" Hindi ko natapos ang sasabihin ko ng bigla na naman niya akong hinila tapos tinulak nang pagkalakas-lakas. Ano bang problema niya?

I look at on where I am going to bump. I froze when I know I am going to bump in the rocks. Kaya Pumikit nalang ako at hinintay na bumangga ang katawan ko sa naglalakihang mga bato, pero ilang minuto pa ang lumipas ay wala akong naramdaman na sakit.

Unti unti kong minulat ang aking mga mata, at na panganga ako sa nakita ko. Bigla ring sumulpot sa tabi ko yung babae.

"Mabuti't tumagos ka sa mga bato." Nakangising sabi nito.

"And what do you mean by that?" I frowned.

"Yung dalawang bato kasi doon ay isang portal para makapasok dito, yung may mabubuting puso lang ang makakapasok." she paused,

"Nagtaka nga ako kung paano mo nagawang makapasok." She said silently, but, enough for me to hear it.

"So ibig mong sabihin na salbahe ako!?" Pikon kong sabi at tumayo galing sa pagkakaupo kanina.

She fake coughed, "Hey, wala akong sinabi na ganyan ah!"

I just throw her some dagger stares, and she began walking again. Tumingala ulit ako para tignan ang nakakamanghang tanawin. The view of what I am looking at right now is too Breathtaking.

"This thing only exist in My Dreams!" I said silently, more on talking to myself.

"Then think that your in a Fairytale Dreamland." The girl said, I didn't mind her remarks, and focus again my attention on what I am seeing.

What I saw was a floating Island, No! masmalaki pa ito sa isang isla! More than hundreds of them were Floating with a bubbles surrounding it, like a barrier. Incredibly unbelievable!

There are also rainbows connecting in each two Island, The edges of the Rainbows where landed on different islands, kaya para itong isang tulay.

"WELCOME TO OLYMPIAN HIGH : SCHOOL OF GODS AND GODDESSES!" Masayang Sigaw nang babaeng kasama ko at Bigla nalang akong tinulak neto, Hilig niya ata' ang panunulak eh.

Pero bago ako tuluyang mahulog ay bigla nalang lumabas ang isang puting kabayo na may pakpak. I was speechless, Heck! Oh God, Is this a Pegasus? Tell me If I am really imagining things!

"Wanna have some Pegasus Racing?" I look at her direction. To my surprise, nakasakay narin siya sa isang grayish pegasus, while on the other hand, mine is purely snowy white.

"Sure!" Pero bago pa ako makapagreact ay nagsimula nang lumipad nang pagkabilis-bilis. I'm going to die!

Oh God, Feeling ko umiikot yung sikmura ko matapos ang nakakamatay na karera nang mga kabayong may pakpak kanina. Bruh. Hindi na talaga ako sasakay nun!

Halos hindi na ako makagalaw sa kinatatayuan ko, Sino bang tao ang hindi mabibigla kung bigla-bigla ka nalang ililipad sa ere nang sobrang bilis?

I was about to collapse pero nasalo agad ako nung babae at tinulungang tumayo, "Ayan, bayad na ako sa utang ko sayo ah? Sa pagtulong mo saakin sa loob ng gubat kanina." She smiled wickedly, talaga lang ha? tinanaw niya yung utang na loob?

Hindi ko na namalayan na nasa harap na kami ng isang malaking palasyo.

I cant believe it. I am actually here standing outside of a very huge Golden Gate. It has embolden letters. OLYMPIAN HIGH. I don't understand why the name of this school seems so Magical, And uh, very kiddy? Paaralan ba talaga ito?

Well, It suits its name. Mala-magical rin naman ang laki at desinyo ng paaralan na ito.

Actually, My first impression was like this, 'OH, A Fairytale Palace!' Yeah. I know, Its too embarrassing to admit.

"Who's There?" I heard coming from nowhere.

Napalingalinga ako kung saan nanggaling ang isang lalakeng boses, but this girl I am with, stayed calm na parang napakanormal lang ang lahat.

"Sabrina Willows" Tapos bigla nalang bumukas magisa ang napakalaking gate, this is what I am actually expecting! And again, Hinila na naman ako ni Sab. Feeling close na to' masyado ah!

I look surprisingly on the things that I have just realize on what I am seeing again.

A huge crystal fountains in the center, pearly stones in anywhere na parang normal na mga bato lang, there are also greenly fresh grass everywhere, Rainbow Cherry Blossoms, Wait! Is that even possible?

There are also Diamond benches, Giant Maze Park, and I even saw Fairies flying anywhere like just a normal butterflies. Woah, They really existed?!

"Mind if you close your hanging mouth?" I just glare Sab as she continue walking and pretended that she had said nothing.

"By the way Sab, can you explain Why the hell you are in that creepy forest?" I ask normally. Using a tone like we've been friends before.

"Did you just call me Sab?" She ask and faced me quickly.

I raise a brow, "Any problem with that?" I sarcastically asked.

"Uh, I--" Magsasalita pa sana si Sab nang biglang may tumalon at yumakap sa kanya, oh, An Orangutan! Kidding, Its a petite girl with an eyeglass, and a short auburn-brown hair. She look like a genius nerd, A nerd with fashion.

While, on the other hand, Sab has sharp gray eyes, Long straight blueish black hair, that absolutely suits her villain attitude.

"Hey Aurora! Stop hugging me! I'm with someone okay!" Sabi ni Sab at mahinang tinulak yung tinawag niyang Aurora.

"Err, Sorry!" Dalidali namang kumalas si Aurora at humarap sakin na nakangiti,

"Hehe, I just really miss this bitch. Pardon me." Sab just throw a death glare on Aurora, who's prettily smiling.

"Hi! I'm Aurora Elixir, from the Dawn Tier." She Introduced herself. This Aurora girl plays good with an innocent mask.

"And I bet you're new here. May I know your name?" She asked.

"Eurydice L. Laire, And please, I hate formalities." I said with a bitchy tone while looking straight into her pale blue eyes.

"Bruh, I like you! Your good at identifying true colors." Sabi niya while referring the colors she have said to the real attitudes. Naging iba narin ang tono ng pananalita niya, from being energetic innocent kiddy tone to a bit serious bitchy one.

"Yeah, That's Better! Haha!" Now, I can tell that we could become good friends, well,Same crow with the same bitchiness, flocks together!

They call it "Tower" than building, and "Castle" than School. This Academy really rocks!

"We have different levels of towers here, and it will be based on your power and personality." Aurora explain, she must know everything since she is one of those smart kiddos here, And hell yeah! Slight Tanggap na nang buong sistema ng katawan ko na nageexist talaga dito ang mga abrakadabras na mga kapangyarihan diyan!

Screw those Magics and powers! Since nakawitness na ako ng isang kapangyarihan which is Sab's power; an Animal Shape-shiftier.

"We have three towers here; The Dusk, which is the highest tier. Dawn, the middle tier and Midnight tower, or known as the lowest tier." Aurora continue discussing, like I was the dumbest person here!

"Me and Aurora is in the Dawn Tier. Luckily, we got also the same dormitory. Worry less, kami nang bahala sa dormitory problem mo." Sambat ni Sab sa usapan.

"Just make sure na hindi ka mapupunta sa Midnight Tier, It will crash your ego to be on the lowest." Sab continued.

"It should be Dawn or Dusk." Seryosong sabi ni Aurora, they take this really serious, heck! Not even one of us know if I could last here for a week!

"Have you heard, Prince Aeron got missing?"

"Oh No! Bakit daw?"

"I've heard the news from one of the Dusk's student that he went missing after chasing the Magic Reaper!"

Sabay naman kaming tatlo napalingon sa mga estudyante na pumapasok sa cafeteria. Yep, we're here inside the cafeteria, sitting in right corner, while eating magical rainbow cakes.

Kakatapos lang ata ng classes nila dahil walang katao tao dito kanina, while, these two girls with me is enjoying their cutting classes. Bad-ass exist everywhere--Both Human World and Magicland.

"Who's Prince Aeron?" Tanong ko dala sa curiosity sa narinig na chismis. So princes and princess also existed here eh?

Sab stopped from sipping her rainbow tea for a while and look intently to me,

"He's Prince Aeron Elixir, King's son of Ivory Sapphire Clan. And Also Aurora's Secret Cousin" Humina ang boses ni Sab sa last part.

"Oh, So Aurora, you came from a royal bloodline." I said in a low volume.

"Fuck! Cut it out! I hate Courtesy, and Correction Miss Laire, it's 'magicline' not bloodline." Aurora smirked. If I will just be a normal girl, I would be surprise that an Innocent faced girl can talk devilishly, well bad thing, I'm not normal. I'm Special in my own way.

"Thanks for the not-so-important details." I said with a sarcasm,

"Oh, And hey! What's with the Clans?" I asked.

"I'm not good at giving so-important details, Let Sab answer instead." Aurora answered bluntly. I silently cursed Aurora in my mind-screw you nerdy-looking devil!

"Ugh! That would be a very long topic!" Sab protest, but I give her my most devilish look and stare,

"Okay Fine!" Pumekeng umubo muna siya bago tuluyang nagsalita,

"There are 4 Kingdoms who reigns in every part of the Magicland; In the North side are Gold Emerald Clan's Territory, While In the South's are Black Ruby Clan. While, the West side are Ivory Sapphire Clan's Territory, and Lastly the East side are Silver Amethyst Clan's Territory." She paused,

"You should treat me some snacks after this, Any Questions?" Mataray na tanong niya saakin,

"Actually Yes--" I replied, I was about to say something but she cut me off.

"--You'll better pay a visit in the library, so that you'll understand the whole history of the Magic world." Dalidaling sagot ni Sab, I know Sab is just carefully avoiding some questions that she might didn't know the answer. And that's bulls'eye!

Hindi ko alam kung bakit ako nandito magisa na naglalakad sa tahimik na hallway, too bad, there hallway looks like for Super model's ramp stage.

It was gorgeously made of red and white diamonds, and also, Wait! Enough of that too much treasure's explanation! It might pull some interest in me of becoming a thief for one day!

Ang alam ko lang, pupunta ako ngayon sa library. And Aurora and Sab told me that they are attending their afternoon class, kakatapos lang kasi ng lunch break.

Habang naglalakad, bigla nalang may humila saakin. I almost shouted pero mabilis na tinakpan ng humila sakin ang bibig ko. Shit! Mare-Rape na ba ako? Sana pogi yung rapist man lang!

"Miss, hindi ka pwedeng palakad lakad lang sa hallway. Kapag nakita ka ng Student Council tiyak sa Tormenting Detention ang hantungan mo." sabi neto sakin, hindi ko alam kung paano magreact, Blimey! Ang Pogi niya!--teka ano daw? Tormenting detention?

"Teka, bago ka lang dito ano?" Binitawan niya na ako at napakamot sa batok niya at ngumiti sakin nang makita na hindi ako naka suot ng uniporme gaya nang ibang estudyante, jusko! Ang pogi niya talaga!

"I'm Lucian Frenniere, and you are?" Sabay lahad niya ng kamay saakin.

"Elle. My name is Elle." Bigla kong sabi at nakipagshake hands sa kanya, Natatandaan ko kasi bigla ang bilin nina Sab sakin.

Hindi ko raw gamitin yung totoo kong pangalan tsaka hindi pa nila napagdesisyunan kung anong apilyedo ang gagamitin ko, para hindi maghinala ang academy na hindi talaga ako taga-magicland.

Actually, Galing yung Elle mismo sa pangalan ko, Eurydice L. LairE

"Your name suits you, but, I think Juliet suits you more, because your as beautiful as her." He winks and laugh, and I find it very seducing.

"Teka wala ka bang pasok ngayon?"

Tumango ako, "I still didn't know what Tier where I really belong."

I paused, "And Sorry, hindi ko alam na bawal pala ang palakad lakad sa hallway tuwing Class hour, pasensiya na talaga! Pupunta lang sana kasi ako sa Library eh." pabait-baitang sabi ko.

"Okay lang yun, baguhan ka pa naman. Sige, samahan nalang muna kita." Tsaka sinabayan niya ako sa paglalakad, Ang daldal niya kaya hindi naging awkward ang atmosphere,

Habang naglalakad kami patungo sa Library, My jaw drop-Literally. When we entered inside the main tower, I saw the most beautiful sparkling diamond chandeliers, marble white floor, and a rose-red carpet, and other beautiful glass made furnitures.

"Awesome!" I mumbled,

After having a little chit-chat with lucian ay umabot na rin kami sa harap nang isang napaka laking double glass door. Ibat ibang topic ang pinauusapan namin.

Also, I've learn a lot of things from him. Like, Kapatid niya ang Student Council Vice President dito.

*Kring* *Kring*

"Ay sorry Elle! Kailangan ko ng umalis. Maiwan muna kita ah?" Nagpaalam na si Lucas sakin dahil oras na para sa unang klase niya sa panghapon.Tumango nalang ako bilang paalam at tinignan siya hanggang mawala siya sa paningin ko.

Humarap ako ulit sa malaking pintuan. I felt really nervous. I'm actually here in front of the Library's Door, or shall I say 'The Nerds Area.'

At hindi ko alam na ang susunod na mangyayari ay may isang gulo na naman na akong mapapasukan.
