Training on Olympus
Percy's POV
I was kind of pissed to be honest. Okay a LOT pissed. I mean, sure the gods can send people on quests and stuff, but this is ridiculous.
Only one surviver? What the Hades kinda sick game is this? Deep breaths Percy, deep breaths.
All the tributes met up in my cabin to talk. Almost all of us were fuming. The Nike girls and some others were actually very excited to kill some of us which is not very reassuring.
"I cannot believe them! What is wrong with the world?" Will screamed into my pillow.
"Okay dude, really? I sleep on that." I said taking the pillow and hugging it to my chest.
"We gotta do something." Jason said, his face red.
"Something is obviously wrong here. The gods wouldn't do something this rash. After all we've done? I can't see it." Annabeth said.
My only comfort right now was her right beside me, rubbing circles into my hand. Gods I love her.
"Well we should all get a good nights sleep. We're gonna need it. I heard my dad was leading training tomorrow so you better watch your back Prissy." Clarisse said. She didn't sound as mad as usually. She sounded really tired and strung out, like she hated this idea as well but was trying to hide it.
Alright. Disperse godlings." Leo said in his best game show host voice.
Kayla laughed nervously and left after saying goodnight.
"Good luck all and to all a goodnight." Leo drawled.
"Oh shut up." Frank spoke for the first time of the night.
The next morning they would be on their way to Olympus. Gods help us all.

Piper's POV
I woke up bright and early to make sure I wasn't late or anything. After about an hour of pacing around the Aphrodite cabin, my cabin mates woke up and we headed to breakfast.
It was awfully quiet in the dining pavilion. Everyone spoke in hushed whispers as if not to wake someone. We were all scared, I knew that much. Even the campers who weren't competing were terrified for their siblings and their friends.
After we finished breakfast, the tributes piled into two Delphi Strawberry trucks and we headed for the Empire State Building.
I was put into a truck with Percy, Annabeth, Jason, Laurel, Holly, Clarisse, Leo, Nyssa, Reyna, Kayla, Katie, and Pollux. The rest were in the other truck.
It was a nerve racking trip to the city. After awhile I noticed the truck was shaking a lot more than it was supposed to. "What's going on?" I asked.
"Sorry" Percy muttered. Almost instantly the shaking subsided. "You were doing that?" I asked. "My dad's the earthshaker. I discovered that power a little while ago. Long story." He said quietly.
My gods he's really powerful. I hate to say it but he might be more powerful than Jason!(I totally 100% believe Percy is more powerful than Jason)
We arrived soon enough and walked into the building. Percy strides up to the desk manager. "Hello, 600th floor please."
The guy looked up from his book and raised an eyebrow. Then he saw Percy and his eyes widened. "Y-yes sir, r-right away sir. Um...here y-you go." He stuttered as he shoved the key card into Percy's hands.
Percy smirked in satisfaction and handed the man a drachma. The man took it gratefully and went back to reading. We all followed Percy into the elevators and up to Olympus.
I've been to the palace of the gods before, but it never seizes to amaze me. It's breathtakingly beautiful and full of life. Nymphs and minor gods strode about, talking with one another.
As soon as they saw us though, everything stopped. Not a single sound could be heard. That is, until Leo cleared his throat loudly. Activities picked back up again and a nymph walked up to us.
She seemed very cheerful in the cool spring air. "Hello, you must be the tributes. Lord Zeus told me to fetch you and lead you to the training arena. Your instructors will be Lord Ares and Lady Artemis. Good luck and may the gods be with you." She said and turned on her heals. We all scrambled to keep up with her.
We arrived at the arena and I caught my breath. It was terrifying. There was an obstacle course way more dangerous than at camp. Hundreds of weapons lined the walls and the whole thing looked pretty gruesome.
Ares stepped forward. "Alright wimps, lets see what you got. I will be your instructor along with the lovely lady of the moon herself. You will do as we say without a moments hesitation, got it? Jackson?" He said looking pointedly at Percy.
"What'd I do?" He asked. "Nothing yet, but that doesn't mean I don't hate your guts." Ares said in disgust.
Ares talked for a while longer while Artemis stood to the side, adding things when necessary.
We were told we would get until 7:00 that night to train and then tomorrow we were to head into the actual arena. We would get a briefing before we headed in. I still hate this idea.
I trained all day. We only stopped for a meal at around 3:00. I sparred with multiple different people and tried my hand at the bow and other various weapons. I have yet to beat the obstacle course.
So far the only people to pass it were Percy, Annabeth, Clarisse, and Frank, who just turned into a small animal. Cheater. Laurel and Holly were cursing the world and everything else in existence because they couldn't get past the course. They need to seriously chill. Nike kids. Augh.
Soon enough, we headed home. I tried to sleep but was overrun with nightmares. I hope some of us actually got some sleep but I honestly doubt it.
I'm really scared about tomorrow. I didn't tell anyone else because I'm afraid they'll laugh at me. I really don't want to kill anyone, but I don't want to die either. How did we get into this mess in the first place? Out of twenty-four only one can survive. This is sick. I can only imagine what the future holds.
