Chapter 5
"My dear child... Your just like your mother. Did you know she asked the same question as you did, long years ago." She said booping her nose.
"And she saved him too. Uncle Error...and I believe you can too. So you can go and visit if you most, but without anyone, not even your brother knowing of such, okay?" She said as she placed a finger on her lips.
"go, he's awake now. Take him some pie to ease the pain."
Olivia smiled happily as she nodded. She hated secrets, but she wouldn't tell anyone if they asked.
"Okay!" She hugged her grandmother tightly and nuzzled her nose with hers, and went to get some pie for Brex.
Brex exhaled softly, his eyes closed. Pain didn't phase him anymore. He was ready for death, yet, death hadn't wanted him.
Every time he was in harm's way, death seemed to avoid him.
Like he wasn't welcomed.
Brex scoffed at this irony. "Haha. How funny. Now I see." He spoke to no one in the darkness. Until.
She answered back.
"How can you see with such poor lighting as this? When the day comes and I get my own Kingdom. I'll make a majestic prison. Don't you think?" Brex jumped slightly as Olivia came into view.
He suddenly calmed for some reason.
Oh. It's her. Her eyes are strange to me. Brex thought.
Olivia was holding a plate with a slice of butterscotch cinnamon pie on it. "Oh! Sorry to startle you. I thought you might be hungry."
He only stared at her. Not moving. His dull bronze eyes reminded Olivia of her father's eyes and her smile seemed weak now. Her arms still extending the pie out towards him.
She was feeding the beast.
Damn it, Enoch thought.
I'm in this place again.
He hated darkness, but it was quiet. Until his dreams captured him.
Ida was at her working table as she recorded the reports of today's deaths to gave to her daughter Capri, the new Death. Enoch in the meantime she laid him in a soft bed of golden flowers.
She also sent a report to Uzo with the new gem technology that was shared with them to show her how they were doing along with the earth.
Minutes passed.
Soon, hours passed.
Hours turned to days.
Enoch wasn't no where to be seen recently. He was still sleeping. It's been 3 days now. Enoch has had the same dream over and over again. Till this day. It still hurts. Those first thoughts.
________In His Dreams_______
Enoch stared at the Galaxy twins as they calmed him. But when he turned to see the scene laid out before him. His mind couldn't process what was happening.
The space twins were around him as they sat in the bed of star flowers. The most loving one, Star, had him on her lap and smiled happily once he was awake.
"Oh my stars, he's awake, my dear sister!" She said happily. Meteor looked over and smiled as she saw Enoch awake.
"Welcome, to your other home son..." She said with a soft tired smile.
Enoch stared at them as he stayed silent. Confusion was on his face. He didn't want to be anywhere. His sister was dead.
DEAD.
He didn't understand it still. All he was feeling was agony.
Yet. He didn't shed a tear.
Enoch stretched as he whined.
"Woh there son... Your not very used to being in such a world yet, I see. With the look on your face, tells us so. You can come here by dreaming but your grandmother sent you here since you wouldn't wake up." Meteor explained as she put her hand in her pocket.
Star was cuddling him happy to see him. "Don't worry, she told us not to tell your father, to not worry him on his traveling. " She said as she sat him on the bed of flowers.
Enoch sighed out in pure relief. She's alive. He looked at Star, then Meteor.
Man. Do I love cuddles, Enoch thought.
His body melting into the sweet cuddle. He was so tired, even in dreaming. Yet, he didn't feel the need to close his eyes.
"oh... Okay..." He spoke in a lazy, calm voice.
"I missed you two." He adds, giving them a lazy smile.
"Aw~ We did, too, sweetheart! "She said happily as she held Enoch. She soon started playing with his cheeks.
They didn't see the twins since they were 12 due to having to be busy with the being in space and the star gods.
Going to war and other important things, but surprisingly Enoch was special with them since for some odd reason, he is always awake around them both, yet, today he was tired. The space twins didn't mind it tho, they were happy to see their shared grandchild again.
Enoch looked down. The bags under his eyes grew over the years. He didn't have them when he was a baby because he slept well. Now stress is everywhere.
Being an adult to Enoch is hard, but he manages somehow. "Thank you." He blurted out.
"I was having that same dream again. I hate it so much." Enoch told them. He doesn't really hate anything. Enoch curled up to Star, exhaling a deep sigh.
He can't help but close his eyes. He wants sleep so bad. He can taste it. But. He can't. His mind is wide awake. He's left Olivia.
That beast is there. He's going to take her. He'll kill her. No. Enoch's mind told him.
Enoch hates being like this. It makes him look like he's controlling. He's not. He could care less about what others do in their life's as long if they left him be.
