Olivia North

I couldn't stop pacing in my living room because of what happened earlier at the mall with Cassandra. What she said a while ago about "seeing Nick later" bothers me because I knew that those were not just empty words just to annoy the hell out of me. I couldn't even tell Nick because he was so mad at the paparazzi who accused me of having an affair with a German guy, he was enraged and the last thing I want was for him to be upset even more with my feud with Cassie.

From what I learned about him he can be so scary when he got mad. He may look like he had a calm demeanor but you can hear it to his voice and see it in his eyes that you are in a wrong side of the man, that's why I kept my mouth shut and tried to lift up his mood up by being touchy and leaning my head on to him throughout our ride to my apartment. He loosened up a little but he's still in his serious state.

"Livy can you just sit down for a minute. You're creating a hole to your floor by pacing to and fro." Erin commented and we looked at my door when we heard the loud opening of it. \

"What is this about the urgent meeting you said? It better be urgent because I left our family dinner for this." Jowee said immediately as she barged into my apartment and sat beside Erin on my couch.

"Cassandra Tucker. We saw her awhile ago in the mall and she tried flirting with Nick, but I intervened immediately by kissing him in front of her. Then, when she bid her goodbyes she mouthed 'I'll see Nick next time' at me. You know how she is; she loves sleeping with my boyfriends, she loves rubbing in my face that I am replaceable. Oh my God, I can't lose Nick and Dylan to her, Jowee, Erin. I love them. Yes, both, I love Niccolo and Dylan and I don't want them to be taken by any woman from me. Jowee, Erin, why is this happening to me?" I fell on my knees beside the couch and sobbed like a mad woman.

Both of my friends were immediately beside me on the floor and hugged me. They did not utter a single word and just hug me until I finished crying. We stayed like that for about 20 minutes until Erin decided to break the silence.

"From what I saw, Niccolo is not a jackass like some other guys. He won't be fooled into getting into someone's bed by a woman like Cassandra." Erin stood up and offered both of her hands to help us standing up, we took it and sat on my couch.

"Also, he's a great guy, kind, and respectful to women. He's responsible enough to know what's right and wrong and don't you know that he only has eyes for you? Even though I only met him twice, I can totally see that he's smitten with you. Also honey, he's different from the guys you've dated, he has his own company so technically he doesn't need someone for him to be rich because he already did it on his own, not like those guys you've dated who only thought that you're a walking bank account and are a sex deprived hormonal student. And I don't think that he's a walking sex addict given the fact that he already has a son and has been celibate for about eight to nine months now? You two are what, dating for 4 months now so if you do the math, he hasn't got laid for about 5 months prior to your announcement thing." My and Erin's jaw were hanging by the time Jowee finished talking. We just looked at her as if she'd grown another head from her neck.

"What? I did my investigation, okay. I just have to assure myself that my friend is in good hands, so I asked my private investigator to check his background." She raised both of her hands like surrendering.

"You did?" I asked.

"Yes darling, so I know everything about him." Jowee replied and wiped my face with her hand.

"That's more alarming, J. if he's abstained from sex for 9 months, then he's an easy target for Cassie." I replied nervously because it's the truth right, you can't control your libido once you were deprived from it for such a long time.

"Did you not listen to what I said, Olivia? I told you that he's not that kind of guy." She replied and held my arm.

"But..."

"J's right Livy. Nick is far from that; he won't do such a thing that he knew very well that his son will get hurt in the end and how else he can hurt Dylan? By hurting you, right?" Erin interrupted me and faced me to her. What she said was right.

I took a deep breath a sighed.

"You just have to trust him, Livy. If he, God forbid, got tempted or seduced by Cassandra, then he really is not for you." Jowee added.

"Should I give myself to him? I mean we are set to get married so technically he's already my husband, just not lawfully." I blurted out; this idea has been stuck to me since I saw Cassie. Just after I blurted it out, I felt a sting on both of my arm, and I looked at Jowee and Erin because they hit me.

"Don't you fucking dare do it, Olivia. You promised to yourself that you will give yourself to your husband for the reason that you both love each other, not because you're afraid to lose him." Jowee pointed her index finger at me.

"I already love him so why do I have to wait for us to get married, right?" I replied.

"That's desperation, Livy, not love." Erin spoke.

"But it's the same, we're going to get married, why do I have to wait for our wedding night? If that is the only way to secure them both then I would gladly do it." I said in frustration.

"And if he still left you for Cassandra? Or for Rebecca? Or for another woman? What will you do?" Jowee asked nonchalantly.

That's when I lose all the reason I had in mind. She's right, I should not be impulsive, I must make him fall in love with me, that's the most secure way to not lose them, but can I do it?

I put my head on my hands and grunted.

"I just don't want to lose them." I said in between muffled sobs.

"You will not lose them. Just trust Nick on this. He won't cheat on you just like what those scumbags did to you, Olivia. He's better than them." Erin stated and I felt both of their arms hugged me.

"You really are in love with him, are you?" Jowee asked and I nodded.
"Yes. I am. And I love Dylan as my own." I sniffed and swallowed the lump in my throat.

"Well, if you want, I can tell you where your boyfriend buy his boxers are. Oh might I add, his size?" Jowee curled my hair in a seducing way and I looked at her, I couldn't believe she stalked Niccolo.

"Eew. Can you stop, Jowee?" Erin pushed her gently, enough for her to tumble down the couch.

"Don't worry, E, I know Alex's boxers' size." Jowee stated and she showed us his hands together that were slowly expanding.

"Ew. You're such a perv!" Erin shouted and hit her face with a pillow and that's how they started they pillow fight. I smiled at them and my eyes started to mist again because I was so lucky to have these two in my life.

Then I heard the ringing of my doorbell. I left the two "adults" and went to the video intercom and saw my brother Zac smiling widely like an idiot he is at the camera.

"What do you want?" I asked as I talked to him on the intercom.

"Open the door, Livy. Father wanted me to give you this" He smiled at the camera and showed me a red envelope. I rolled my eyes and went towards the door.

As I opened the door, he immediately head locked me and ruffled my hair. I elbowed him and stepped on his toe.

He grunted and released me.

"You really are violent." I gave him the finger and was about to shoo him away, but I remembered that Erin is here so, why not tease both of them, especially Jowee is here, she can be a little pushy sometimes.

"Come in." I pointed my head towards my living room, and he followed me.

We stopped in our tracks when we saw topless Erin in her bra and her back facing us, "Jowee give me back my shirt."

Jowee on the other hand was wriggling Erin's shirt until she saw us and stopped.

"Zachary, what are you doing here?" Jowee asked and Erin immediately faced us, completelty forgotten about her shirt.

"Ah... uhm. I-I was..." He stuttered and cleared his throat, I looked at him with a smirk and he was looking at Erin with lust. I looked at my friend and she was flushed; I took my coat on the rack and threw it at her to cover herself.

"He was just dropping by to give this." I took the envelope to my brother and showed it to no one.

I opened its content and I saw that it was an invitation for this Friday's annual charity gala of Mr. Sherate's shipping company, and it was addressed to me and Niccolo. After reading it, I put it on top of the coffee table and looked at Jowee who's currently smirking at me, I raised my brows at her, and she just pointed her head discreetly at the two who's in staring contest.
"Olivia, don't you have food in here? I'm starving." Jowee broke the silence to ask me and tossed Erin's shirt at her.

"I haven't shopped for groceries yet, but I can buy tonight if you can accompany me." I asked her and she said yes immediately but Erin was quick to react but we're way quicker than her.

"I can accompany you too." Erin said as she's struggling to get her shirt from the couch.

"No, we're fine. Zac, you'll have dinner here, yes?" I asked and my brother nodded and sat on the couch near Erin.

With that, we hurriedly went out and took the emergency stairs down to the floor below me so that Erin wouldn't catch up with us. Once we arrived at the floor below mine, we headed to the lift and laughed our ass out.

"It's time for them to be all alone." Jowee said in between laughs and the lift opened.

"Yup. So, where to?" I asked her as we entered the lift.

"Let's just buy pizza, I am in no mood to grocery shop." She replied and put her arm around my shoulder.

"Yeah, me too." I said and we both laughed again.

"I'll be there in 5. Bye. Mwah." I hung up and drove to Nick's building to have lunch with him. The location of my meeting was near his company, so I called him to have lunch with me to see him and to inform him about the charity gala on Friday.

I parked outside Nick's building and went inside the lobby, I stopped in front of Mandy, the receptionist, and greeted her.

"Hi Mandy, good afternoon, I'm here to see Niccolo." I smiled at her and gave my ID to her, she looked up from her computer and widened her eyes when she saw me and smiled.

"Good afternoon, Ms. North. No need to leave your ID here, Ms. Didith already told the IT to put your name in the system, so you're cleared to enter the building." She informed me gently and smiled. Oh yeah, Nick told Mandy last time to put my name in the system.

"Oh. Okay. Thanks, Mandy." I smiled and went towards the lift.

I arrived at Nick's floor in no time and greeted by the smiling Edna, she welcomed me cheerfully and offered to walk me to Nick's room, but I gently refused her. As usual, I got a lot of stares from Nick's employees as I went to his room. As soon as I neared Didith, I greeted her, and she got startled by it.

"Hello Didith, is Nick inside?" I stood in front of her and smiled after she composed herself.

"Ms. Olivia, he's actually having a quick conference call in the boardroom with the managers, but don't worry, it will be done in any minute. In the meantime, you may wait for sir inside his office. Oh, may I offer you a drink? Coffee, Tea, Juice, or Water?" she spoke in a friendly tone yet still formal and I smiled at her, before I can reply, I heard my favorite masculine low toned voice that I've been wanting to see since yesterday. I turned and saw him in his sexy dark blue Armani suit.

"Draft the proposal and send it to me soonest. I have to go now; I don't want Olivia to wait for me any longer." He said

"No worries, she just got here actually." I said and stood next to him smiling. He looked at me and smiled and he immediately dismissed the person he talking to. I wriggled my eyebrows at him and winked. He placed his arm around me and kissed the side of my head.

"Hey. I'm sorry for making you wait." He said as we walked towards the lift.

"It's fine. Oh FYI, you'll be paying for our lunch, okay." I smiled at him while we're waiting for the lift.

"Where do you want to eat?" he asked.

"I'm craving for Japanese food." I answered and held his hand.

Lunch went by so fast, he teased me about not going with me on Friday because he'll be super busy to sleep but when I commented about him being an old man, he sternly refused to be my date so I threatened him about no kissing for 2 weeks, and of course, I won.

I was driving him to his company when Adolph called me, and his name appeared on my dashboard screen. I immediately declined his call because I didn't want Nick to hear our conversation.

"Who was that?" Nick asked me.

"No one, just an old friend of mine. By the way, this Saturday's Elly's birthday party, right?" I changed the topic immediately because I didn't know what I will say if he asked me about him even more.

"Yes, and it's a princess themed party." He sighed and held my hand. "You know, if you're uncomfortable to go there, we can just not attend it." He added and kissed the back of my hand that he's been holding.

I looked at him and smiled sweetly.

"We are going. How can I win your Nana's heart if I evade her? Hmmm... Don't worry about me, Nick."

"We will leave immediately if she insults you again." He said anger lacing in his voice.

"Ok fine. Can we lighten up the mood please? You're quite scary when you get mad." I glanced at him and smiled.

"No, I'm not." He defended himself.

"Yes, you are, Mr. Knights." I insisted.

"If I am, why does our son don't get scared whenever I scolded him?" he asked, and my heart quickened when he said 'our son'. Oh Niccolo, I just want to stop this car and kiss you.
"That's because he's mini you." I replied and stopped in front of his building.

He just chuckled.

"Well, that I don't have an answer. Anyway, see you later." He unbuckled his seatbelt and before he opened the car door, I grabbed his arm and kissed him hard. I've been wanting to kiss him since I saw a while ago. Kissing him always feel so right and it gives me warm feeling all over my body. Also, not to mention that he's good at it especially his tongue work.

We released each other when we both needed air.

"I've been meaning to do that since I saw you." He said and I just smiled at him. I took a wipe from my bag and wiped the lipstick smudge on his lips.

"We don't want them to know that I've been swatching my lipstick to you." I winked at him after I wiped all the lipstick smudge at him.

He laughed and pecked my lips.

"I'll see you later."

"Bye." I said when he went out of my car.

He winked at me and signaled me to drive.

Oh Niccolo Knights, how did you manage to make me fall in love with you.
