You don't mess with Olivia

Fionna picked up Anduril and examined it. “Interesting...” She then picked up the sheath and tied it around her waist, sheathing the sword as an afterthought.

“Fi... I know you’re brave and can handle it, but can you please stick with me until we catch him? Please?” Marshall begged, watching her.

She nodded. “I don’t want to leave you either- what if he doesn’t stick to his plan and does go after you? Plus... I’m scared, Marshall.”

He pulled her close. “I am too, Fi. I’m so scared he’s going to come and take you away from me. I know you’re completely capable, but that doesn’t help anything.”

Olivia rolled her eyes.  “Yes, yes, you’re both scared, you’re in love, you don’t want to leave each other, and there is no way you want to pull an Edward Cullen because that’s just what the hothead wants, but guys, seriously. There’s three of us, and one of him. I can shoot fire, you can probably wield that sword better than Aragorn himself, and you’re a vampire. With an axe!”

They grinned at her. “True enough.” Marshall agreed.

“But it’s still okay for you to be scared. Just don’t be all, ‘I promise to protect you until the end of time’. We need a battle strategy right now.” Olivia said, lighting up her hand experimentally, then extinguishing it, before lighting it up again.

“Let’s... go somewhere more... secluded.” Marshall said. Fionna nodded, and Olivia eyed them carefully before nodding as well. They were standing in the front hall, which was very open and, at the moment, empty, besides the three of them. Cogsworth/Laurence came waddling in, and gasped as he saw Olivia.

“No! That’s completely unfair! I refuse to remain a clock if she’s not a teapot!” He fumed.

“Laurence- we’re gearing up for a fight with Gaston, who has come alone to kidnap Fionna. You are not going to help with that, and you know it. Fionna has freaking Anduril, Marshall has his axe, and I have the ability to shoot green fire out of my hands, while remembering to do so.” Olivia said, picking him up.

“Put. Me. Down.” Laurence said menacingly, pointing to the floor with each word.

Sighing, Olivia obliged, and followed Fionna and Marshall into the dining room. “Lock the door.” Marshall said. Olivia bolted the big door, but pointed out that the kitchen door couldn’t be locked from their side, and Marshall shrugged. “Leave it, then.”

Olivia rolled her eyes and sat down at the table across from Fionna, who was, of course. next to Marshall.

“Now, we have to trap him. The easiest way would be to use Fi as bait, but we’re not going to do that.” Marshall said.

“Not necessarily... are there any rooms that have two entrances, not counting this one?” Olivia mused.

Fionna snapped her fingers. “What about the library? It has two doors- the main entrance, and a side entrance down the hall. You two could leave me at some point, enter through the side entrance while I lead him through the main entrance. Then, we have him.”

“No. I refuse to let you do this.” Marshall said.

Fionna narrowed her eyes, gearing up for another fight.

“Hey, hey, hey! Before we go over that again, let’s get back to this. Then we can go back to whatever you two were doing in the hall.” Olivia said, annoyed.

They both rolled their eyes, but the crisis was averted.

“Now- we can either go with Fionna’s idea, come up with a better one, (which I highly doubt) or just sit here and wait for him to find us! And if it were me, I wouldn’t go to a strange castle, alone, where I knew I’d be welcomed hostilely, without a weapon!” Olivia snapped.

“Then you support the idea?” Fionna said, smiling a little.

“Yeah, if you can walk fast enough not to be suspicious, but still keep ahead of him. And he’s going to try and move as quickly as he can without making a sound. Keep in mind- this guy is a hunter. He does this for a living.”

 “Olivia, stop!” Snapped Marshall.

“What? If she ran, he’d pursue, going as fast as possible, no matter if she heard him. He’d cover her mouth to make sure she didn’t scream for you, and then he’d gag her and tie her up, bringing her back to the village. Is that what you want?” Olivia growled back.

“Shush- I think I hear something.” Fionna hissed. Both Olivia and Marshall went quiet immediately, listening as well. They heard footsteps, then they heard somebody try the door. Olivia glared at the door, as though it was Flame Prince. “Bolted- from the inside, apparently.” Flame Prince said to himself.

Olivia looked at Fionna and Marshall, and then pointed to the kitchen and mouthed the word- go. They went, and Olivia rose up from her seat, thanking TV mentally for having the insight to put her in the clothes of the time period.

She went to the door, put a scared expression on her face, and opened it. “Oh, good sir, are you here to rescue me?” She asked.

“Um... yes. You and another girl.” Flame Prince said, considering his words.

“Oh, thank heavens!” Olivia said loudly.

“Sh, sh, sh! We don’t want anyone to hear us!” Flame Prince hissed.

“You’re right, good sir. I am just so happy to be rescued! Now, are you looking for Belle?” In the kitchen, Fionna and Marshall froze. What was Olivia doing?!

“Why, yes, I am.” Flame Prince purred, trying to charm her.

“Well, I know where she is.” Olivia said.

Get ready to run. Marshall mouthed to Fionna.

“Indeed? And where is she?” Flame Prince asked, hardly believing his luck.

“In her room, good sir.”

“Ah. But you see- I need a guide.”

“Of course, sir. I would be happy to escort you.” With that, Olivia left, leading the way to the dungeon. She snagged the keys on her way in. “This is her room?” Flame Prince asked, aghast.

“She may be in her room... why don’t you check?” Olivia asked, trying to sound uncertain.

“Fine. Which one?”

“Um...” Olivia looked for the one that seemed the sturdiest. “That one!” She said, pointing to one that had a little nook in it, as well as the door swinging out. As soon as he was in, she shut the door softly and locked it behind him, before heading towards the stairs.

“Madam, there’s no one in... oh no.” Flame Prince moaned.

Olivia grinned at him from across the room. “Oh yes. You are now the prisoner, the only one in the entire castle. By the way, she does have her own, very nice room.”

Then she left, whistling and ignoring his yells. She met up with Marshall and Fionna on the stairs, and handed Fionna the key. “That was fun. Do you have any more enemies I can improvise into being locked up?”

“What?! I demand that you come back here and free me!” Flame Prince yelled.

“And I demand that you shut up!” Olivia called back cheerfully.
