The days went by and Dodger and Diamond got closer and closer. Everyday they were still on the search for her home but she didn't feel that much of a bother because she is just happy to be with her boyfriend.

It was night time and Dodger took Diamonds out to central park as a date. They walk through the pathway of the park. Fireflies were everywhere creating a light show.

They both stood by the water looking at the reflection of the moon. Little did they know Tito and Einstein were observing the two love birds and was following them around.

Tito:
I can see what's happening

Einstein:
What?

Tito:
And they don't have a clue

Einstein:
Who?

Tito:
They'll fall in love and here's the bottom line Our trio's down to two.

Einstein:

Tito:

Dodger and Diamond walked to the gardens, he picked out a flower and handed it to Diamond. She blushed but happily took it. Dodger smiled as he looked at her smelling the flower but the guilt started to creep up on him again.

Dodger:
So many things to tell her But how to make her see The truth about my past, impossible She'd turn away from me

Diamond lifted up her head and looked at Dodger who was looking at the ground sadly with his ears flat down. She didn't understand what made him sad.

Diamond:
He's holding back, he's hiding But what, I can't decide Why won't he be the king I know he is? The king I see inside?

Diamond smiled and licked his cheek and nuzzled into his neck. Dodger looked at Diamond a smile returning to his face as he also nuzzled into the crock of her neck.

They walked to the grassy field and decided to lay down and relax looking up to the stars and began talking about anything.

Time was flying by and Dodger got closer laying next to Diamond, she smiled and got closer to him as well. She laid her head over his neck.

And if he feels the love tonight In the way I do It's enough for this restless wanderer just to be with you.

Tito and Einstein decided to head back to their home since it was getting late.

The hours went by and Dodger decided to call it an end for the date but before he leaves he wanted to confess something to Diamond in which he knows she would be very angry if she knew but he had to try.

"Babe?"

Diamond lifted her head and looked at Dodger

"Yes"

"There is something I need to tell you"

Diamond smiled and nodded

"Okay"

"I've been lying to you this whole time"

Diamond looked at Dodger confused and hurt at tge same time.

"What?"

"I-I have been procrastinating on taking you back home because ai love you, I don't want to see you leave."

Diamond was stunned and hurt

"So you know exactly where my home is at?"

He nodded sadly with his ears flat down. Diamond got up and paced around trying to think logical.

"Okay so tell me if I'm right or wrong. You knew exactly where I live but you pretended it was far away so I won't go home for a whole month but we fell in love and you didn't want me to leave. Am I correct?"

Again Dodger sadly nodded and stood up.

"I understand if your mad at me ....."

But Dodger was cut off when he felt Diamond kiss his lips. She wasn't angry but happy. Dodger was confused.

"Aren't you mad, I kept you away from home?"

Diamond smiled

"But I was with you, sure I'm kind of irritated because it took so long but now I can ask you something"

"What is it?"

"How about you come live with me"

"What?"

"Yeah why not, we obviously don't want to leave each other and what better way to live in a better stable home"

"But Diamond I don't want to leave my gang and my family. I love them too"

Diamond looked at the ground sadly.

"I guess there is some things we need to talk about after all huh?"

"It appears so"

They walked back to the house boat in silence. Wishing that tomorrow would be better.
